Chapter 967 The Baby

Qiao Qing pushed the box down tighter. Silently, she cursed Sang Wu with colorful words.

“Nothing. It’s just clothes.”

Jun Yexuan raised an eyebrow.

Qiao Qing tucked her hair behind her ears, “Let’s go downstairs. It’s time to eat.”

Just then, her phone lit up. Someone was calling her – a male friend of hers from the international club she was a part of.

Without skepticism, she picked up. Sang Wu’s face showed up on her screen

“My baby, did you receive my gift? Don’t say I don’t love you. It took me a lot of effort to find all those lingeries. I sent you an entire collection, including nurse uniforms, maid uniforms, and even mermaid uniforms. I can promise you that once you put on that lingerie, Jun Yexuan will turn into a hungry wolf…”

Qiao Qing aggressively hung up the phone. She cursed silently. She didn’t need to look to sense the gaze coming from the man beside her. “L.I.N.G.E.R.I.E?” Jun Yexuan enunciated with much interest. He knelt down to open the box.

However, Qiao Qing stopped his hand from extending, “Don’t move.”

Jun Yexuan stared at Qiao Qing’s swollen face with a grin, “Your friend is very considerate. Shall we try these on on our wedding night?”

Qiao Qing’s face turned dark, “Lang Yin, throw out this box.”

Jun Yexuan stopped moving then and sat right on top of the box, “It’s a gift from your friend no matter what. It’s not nice to throw it out. You shouldn’t waste things! I am also looking forward to you wearing those.”

Qiao Qing’s face darkened even more, “Don’t even think about it!”

Jun Yexuan wanted her even when she was angry. He pulled her towards him until she was against his chest.

He stroked her hair and bit her ear gently, “Plus, even if you don’t wear any of that, I can still turn into a hungry wolf.”

Qiao Qing’s ears itched and she felt electricity passing through her body.

Lucky for her, she was saved by another call.

She got away from him and saw that another friend was calling her.

Though she expected it, when Sang Wu’s face showed up on her screen, she still felt a headache.

“Don’t hang up baby! Don’t! I have something I need to discuss with you.”

Her survival instinct was high based on that tone.

Qiao Qing paused, “What is it?”

“Hehehehe…” Sang Wu giggled evilly, “I want to congratulate you on your wedding! In order to not get caught by that son of a b!tch, I will not be attending your wedding. I do wish you a lifetime of happiness though!”

In his heart, Jun Yexuan lit a candle to mourn Mu Jinghang.

Qiao Qing knew Sang Wu well so she didn’t comment. She did, however, worry about her, “What about your child?”

“Ah, you mean my cutiepie.” Sang Wu laughed, “He just fell asleep. I’ll wake him up and introduce you.”

Qiao Qing was about to tell her not to wake the baby when the sound of the baby crying erupted. His voice was so loud and bright that both Qiao Qing and Jun Yexuan jumped.

“Ah, this little kid woke up without me needing to wake him up.”

Sang Wu took her phone with one hand and with the other, grabbed the baby off her bed.

“Cutie, did you hear your auntie’s voice? Come and say hi to auntie.”

The moment the baby was picked up, he stopped crying.

With his large and dark eyes, he curiously stared at Qiao Qing through the screen. He reached out his chubby hand and poked the

screen.
