Lao Lu was sitting cross legged on the floor. Each of her hands were forming a hand sign as she cultivated. Not using her sight for the past few days meant that she was mainly home bound, which gave her plenty of time to meditate on refining more elemental energy as well as widen her perceptions and senses.
Her senses caught something worrying in the distance. She shot to her feet, even with the blindfold wrapped around her eyes, anyone could tell she was worried.
The door to the house flew open. A little girl in a panicked voice said, “Captain Lao, Miss Deng said I should fetch you!”
She nodded, grabbed her blue leather overcoat and made her way out. The girl led her by the hand to where Deng Dandan stood, looking out in the distance.
She their approach and looked back at them, “Captain Lao, it’s bad, they…”
“I know,” Lao said as she came to a stop beside her.
Out in the distance, were Lei, Steam Dragon and the rest of their crew.
The Xiu family also joined them.
“No,” Old Man Xiu said, “How did they find us?”
“It does not matter, we’re in for a fight.” Lao said. “Is that Wun Ip Chun I sense over there?” She turned her head towards where Chun was.
“This useless bastard!” Dandan kicked Chun, who was softly snoring on the floor.
He groaned, “Five more minutes.”
“His drunk!”
“Who drinks so early?” Lao said.
“That’s his secret, Captain, he is always drunk.” Dandan said, kicking him again for good measure.
“Where is Wang Zen?”
“Training a small distance away,” Old Man Xiu said.
“Okay, Old Man Xiu, go with your daughter and fetch Wang Zen.” She said. “We’re going to need all the help we can get.”

“No, I’m staying.” Xiu said.
“Daughter?” Old Man Xiu said.
“If there is a chance I can stop this and spare the village and everyone, then I want to be here to take it.” She said.
Lao nodded. “Old Man Xiu, hurry!”
The man clenched his fists but relented. “Stay safe until I come back, Daughter,” he said before he took his leave.
“That bastard, what’s he doing?” Dandan said.
“What’s wrong?” Lao said.
“That Lei guy, he is creating some kind of grey mist.”
“Grey?”
“Does it mean something?”
“He wants to parley,” she said. “Wait here, be prepared for anything. I’ll go meet with him.”
“What? No!” Dandan said. “You can’t even see, Captain! I’m the only one here who can…”
Lao grabbed the blindfold around her eyes and pulled it off. The medicinal herbs that were pressed to her eyes fluttered away without the binding blindfold. She opened her eyes and looked into Dandan’s eyes with her own.
“I will go meet him,” she said.
Dandan nodded.
Lao began walking towards the group.

Triquetra: A Multi-Class Isekai or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Accept the End of the Multiverse
Triquetra: An Multi-Class Isekei Adventure I know, I know, you have heard it all before. Yes I was hit by a truck. Yes I ended up in a Fantastical World suspiciously similar to one of my favorite RPG’s. Yes I had access to cheats no one else possessed. Yes it was a world of classes and levels and magic powers. Finally, yes I was an overweight middle-aged loser failing to live up to my potential. Given my eclectic reading habits I should have been better prepared. Unfortunately I was not. Sure I could multi-class with reduced penalties, but my starting class was Scholar! No combat abilities and very limited spellcasting. My HUD interface costs mana to use, and my universal translation seemed to be outsourced to Giggle Translate. I’m supposed to be an OP MC! Not a slice-o- life struggling to survive in the wilderness. Not to mention the Arch-Magus who summoned me, mistimed everything, I arrived 300 years too late, after the fall of the Empire I was supposed to save. The surviving remnants have devolved into Murder Hobos. What’s worse is that the Great Devourer, Ancient Calamity, and Spawn from the Void Beyond Time, Space, and Sanity is now aware of a new world to plunder, a world called Dirt! (Told you this translator sucks) Warning Extra Crunchy Authorial Vebosity! Lots of infodump in the early chapters, but I learn my lesson and it does get better, eventually. I do not own the Cover image, found it on a free image site.

Modded Skyr*m: Real Life Edition
It seems that I died while I was playing VR Skyr*m. The next thing I knew, I was standing in front of the middle-aged man who called himself The Overlord of Dremora and Dragons. He told me they were releasing Skyr*m: Real-Life Edition. However, you have to be dead first to play it, and I was chosen as a 'beta tester' of sorts. I found myself in a semi-realistic (thanks to mods) world, and I want to have fun and relax for the rest of my life, and maybe get back to Earth. There's just a small *RAWR* problem. Setting: This happens within the world in The Legend of the Fake Hero, specifically two arcs from now. About: I am writing this for fun as a side project. I intend this to be semi-interactive as I will have polls where readers can influence the book's direction. I have the final say because I believe that too many cooks in the kitchen are not a good thing. The plan is to write it in parts that are around 1-2k words. Typically around every 3 to 6 parts, they will be combined into a finalized chapter and re-edited for a smoother read. Release schedule: When I feel like it. I'll be more inclined to write if there is more interaction, both in comments and polls, towards the story. However, I will be focusing on The Legend of the Fake Hero because that is something I own entirely and enjoy. I will try to do consistent uploads. Disclaimer: This work falls under fair use as it is a partial parity, does not affect the value of the original work, is an original story within the setting (within my setting), and is not being sold. All IP belongs to their respective owners (including myself). Currently uploading on Scribble Hub and Royal Road under the same username.
