《The Diamonds》Chapter 40: Dr. Crow's Punishment and the Traitorous Vampire

{Ron}
Much to my surprise Abigail changed her mind about carrying the baby. Two weeks later she went through the procedure to transfer the baby from Dr. Crow's womb to hers. But before that happened I proposed marriage to her and she happily said yes.
We decided to keep Asher in our relationship. Then a week after Abigail transferred Dr. Crow's baby to her I found out that I was pregnant with twins. One of the twins was from Asher and the other one was from Abigail. I had no idea that was possible until it happened. Asher was overjoyed by this and Abigail had her reservations about it which I can understand.
In the midst of everything that was going on Abigail started planning the wedding and one day as we were doing that I wondered when she was going to carry out her punishment for Dr. Crow.
"I'm going to carry it out tomorrow and I can't wait to see the look on his face when I do!" Abigail explained with a twinkle in her eye.
I smiled but my joy was short lived because my stomach decided to empty the contents of my last meal in it. I grabbed a nearby trash can and threw up in it. I looked up to see Abigail frowning. "Yeah I've been having that happen to me too a lot lately. I'm surprised I can even eat anything because of that."
"That makes two of us!" I said after I threw up again. "I don't know which is worse, the day when I started having my cycle or constantly throwing up every time I get a chance."
Abigail chuckled, "Yeah I heard about that. Wrinkler told me! He said he'd never thought that he would have to give advice about how to deal with it to a guy!"
"Ha-" I started to say but then I threw up again. "Oh fuck me!" I moaned.
Abigail snorted. "Is that an invitation? I would love to but I'm sorry I don't fuck people that are throwing up in trash can!"
I laughed, "Well at least your sense of humor is a lot better than Patty's. I mean using corporate as an excuse to tell a bad joke?"
Abigail nodded. "Yup that's my Mom for you! Although I think she should keep her day job when it comes down to stand up comedy. She is rather happy that she's going to be a grandmother soon even if one of the kids belongs to Dr. Crow. Yeah I'm going to raise the child and teach him not to be a homicidal maniac like his father."
"No kidding!" I said. "Have you thought of any names for the child yet?"
Abigail looked at me thoughtfully. "I'm thinking of Tobias. What do you think?"
I smiled and said, "I think that's a wonderful name for him! Are you going to tell Dr. Crow about the name?"
Abigail shook her head and said firmly, "Hell no! I'm not even going to give him that satisfaction before I carry out his punishment! Nope, not happening!"
"Alright I understand," I said. Then I threw up again and I laid down on the bed because I couldn't take it anymore. I really wanted to sleep at this point so I could get past the pain and misery from being nauseous all the time.
Abigail sighed, "I think you should try and get some sleep at least. You don't look so good as it is."
I nodded. "Uh-huh yeah."

Thankfully I did drift off to sleep after a while.

{Abigail}
Finally it came time for me to punish Dr. Crow and because I was still pregnant and before I started the ceremony I made sure to put a huge black cloak that covered my body from the neck down to hide the fact that I was pregnant.
"Well, well, well Dr. Crow," I sneered. "Any last words before I chop up and you won't die until your body dies naturally?"
Dr. Crow didn't say anything, he only snarled at me and gave a look of contempt. I returned the favor by giving him a look of contempt and then turned my look into a smug one. "Fine then, it's for you to sleep forever!"
I had made sure that Dr. Crow hadn't eaten anything the day before and I refused to let him bite anyone for a whole day before the ceremony. By this time I was able to get control of my magic and that includes summoning my wolf form at will and getting control of my ghost seeing abilities. Since that's happened I used my magic to make Dr. Crow slowly go into suspended animation. Once that was done I instructed the team of people I had working with me to promptly start chopping Dr. Crow's body up and separating the different limbs each one went into a separate box.
Once it was all said and done, I personally escorted each person on my team to different countries around the world. I made them bury the boxes and then I used one of the brainwashing crystals that Patty was able to give me and brainwashed everyone that was involved with the ceremony and wiped their memories of the event. I know that sounds like a fucked up thing to do but considering this was a matter concerning national security it was necessary for me to do that so no one would remember where the boxes were and try to put Dr. Crow back together again and revive him.
After the ceremony a few months later Ron and I gave birth to our children and we had decided that following the births of our children would be our wedding. The wedding was a small one with just our intermediate group of agents that worked with us attending. Asher was the best man and Shinjin was a groomsman. Kari was my maid of honor and her sister Tammy was a bridesmaid.
When Ron and I went on our honeymoon Patty and Asher agreed to watch after the children until we got back. When Ron and I got back from our honeymoon Patty pulled us along with Asher, Shinjin and Wrinkler into the main conference room.
"Well I hope you and Ron had a good honeymoon?" Patty asked.
Ron smiled and replied before I did. "Oh yeah we did! So what's this about?"
"Ah well we've received word about something interesting in regards to the Diamond Planet and it's still destroyed but there is a chance that we could possibly regrow the planet." Patty said.
Ron, Asher and I exchanged a look. "Huh?"
I looked over to see that Wrinkler and Shinjin weren't fazed by this news at all, I just assumed that meant they found out about this information before we did.
Patty nodded. "Oh yeah, what we were able to find out is that there are crystals called 'Regrow Crystals' there are sixty-four of them in total. I'm going to assume that once you collect all sixty-four of the Regrow Crystals you can put them together and they become what's called a 'Seed' and we can send it out into outer space and wait until the planet grows back to its original size. Once that happens we should be able to go to the Diamond Planet and we'll have our kingdom back finally!"

"But if that happens, will the Diamonds that want to stay on earth be allowed to stay?" I asked.
Patty nodded again. "Your father and I talked about this and we realized that some of the Diamonds might be accustomed to the ways of life on Earth. So it wouldn't be fair of us to make them come back to the Diamond Planet." She turned to her computer. "Now since this will be Shinjin's first couple of assignments collecting the Regrow Crystals, this is what they look like."
A picture popped up on the screen and the Regrow Crystals looked like stars and their color was a turquoise blue.
"They're not the size that they are on the screen because it's been zoomed so you can see it." Patty said. "And sometimes it's hard to detect if the crystals are Regrow Crystals so you have to use a special tool to detect them."
"What is it?" Shinjin asked.
Patty then took out her pants pocket a crystal prism. It looked a lot like a glass shard that would happen if you smashed a mirror. "All you would have to do is hold this glass shard over the crystal when we have word that we have possibly found one and if it lights up then it's a Regrow Crystal and if not well then it's not one. It's as simple as that."
She tossed Shinjin the glass shard and he got it. Shinjin looked down at it with a puzzled look. "Why did you give me the glass shard and not Wrinkler?"
"Because," said Patty, "since most of the Regrow Crystals that we found already were found underneath Shaw Castle. And since Shaw Castle is where you lived most of your life until coming to be an agent for us, it would make sense that you would be in charge of collecting the rest of the Regrow Crystals."
"The rest of them?" I asked. "How many have you collected already?"
"Fifteen." Patty answered. "And once you and Ron's time off expires then you two will be sent out to help with collecting the rest of the Regrow Crystals."
"So when do I start collecting these crystals?" Shinjin asked.
"We'll be sending you out starting next week." Patty responded.
Shinjin seemed surprised by this and I don't blame him because he just became an agent and now he's being sent out on an important mission! Yeah that would surprise me too.
"Well that's all I have to tell you guys at the moment. You guys are free to go now." Patty said dismissing us.
Once we left Ron and I parted ways with Shinjin and Wrinkler. I wondered how much time it would take the rest of the Regrow Crystals in order to regrow the Diamond Planet.

{Wrinkler}
When it came time for Shinjin and I to finish collecting the Regrow Crystals, Shinjin seemed to have his reservations about it. I can understand because of him just becoming an agent.
From what Shinjin remembered there were underground tunnels that lead into Shaw Castle. But the tunnels were made in such a way to confuse outsiders that didn't live in the castle. Instead of the tunnels leading straight down into the castle, they lead slightly down and then up towards the roof. I think it's an interesting setup and a very clever one.
Soon after we entered the castle we came across one of Dr. Crow's agents. "Well look at what we have here!"
The agent snickered and glared at us. "It seems that I've come across the Man in the Red Hood otherwise known as Agent Dawn and the Traitorous Vampire that got Dr. Crow captured and 'killed.'"
I snorted because the guy used air quotes when he said the word 'killed.'
Shinjin snorted too. "Exactly why are you using air quotes around the word 'killed?'"
"Because I know for a fact that Dr. Crow was a Diamond and you can't really kill a Diamond except for old age," The agent replied. "And I know that even though you're in your 'agent disguise' I know exactly even without it."
Shinjin raised an eyebrow. "Oh? How?"
"Oh for fuck's sake," said the agent, "I know a vampires teeth can only hang on the outside of their mouth. And from what I was told and what I remember your fangs have a distinct color to them. They look like a yellow color with a black stripe going down them and you were the only agent working for Dr. Crow, that's a vampire and that has the same teeth that you have!"
Shinjin snickered. "Oh I see. So is that why I'm called the Traitorous Vampire?"
The agent rolled his eyes. "Well duh!"
I couldn't stop myself from laughing even if I wanted to. I doubled over in laughter and the agent growled at me. "I would stop laughing if I were you because I'm here to avenge Dr. Crow's uh, 'death!'"
I stopped laughing, "Oh really? Do you really think you can kill me? I got news for you, I'm a Diamond too! So good luck with that."
"And not to mention considering I was the strongest and top agent Dr. Crow had I say good luck with trying me also." Shinjin said while glaring at the agent.
The agent lunged at Shinjin and Shinjin dodged him effortlessly. Shinjin whipped around and tripped the agent and he fell face first on the ground. The agent hit the ground so hard that I thought for sure the guy would be knocked out at least. But nope, the guy got back up and snarled. "You bastards! You're going to pay for that!"
"Yeah I don't think so," Shinjin taunted.
He took a swing at the agent and it connected with the agent's jaw. I stood by watching wondering if I should jump in and help but it seemed that Shinjin was doing just fine. Every kick and every punch the agent threw at him, he managed to block and dodge effortlessly. Not to mention every punch and kick the Shinjin threw at the agent connected with him and I was surprised at the blunt force that Shinjin was punching and kicking at the guy that the guy would just fall over and die but this guy was determined to stay alive so he could avenge Dr. Crow.
Finally Shinjin was able to wear the guy out a little bit. The guy stood on his feet wobbly and he was still determined to kill Shinjin. Shinjin gasped when he saw what the agent had in his hand. What he had in his hand looked like a small sliver sword that had a silver handle. The agent smiled a sinister smile. "You see I know exactly how to kill vampires that come from your clan, you traitor! You can't just drive stake through your heart like a regular vampire oh no because for whatever the reason your clan doesn't die when that happens. You actually have to cut your heads off with this sword and then you die for good."
I looked at Shinjin to see that his horror immediately changed to amusement. The agent growled at him. "What's so funny? You do realize that once I chop your head off you're dead right?"
"Oh I know that it's just that the warriors in the clan are taught exactly how to deal with this," Shinjin said with a smug look. "And no I'm not telling you how I'm going to deal with you!"
I smiled as the fight resumed. Shinjin started throwing punches and kicks and somehow managed to avoid the agent's silver sword. During the fight a bright beam of light came from Shinjin's hand and it grabbed the silver sword that was the agent's hand. The silver sword glowed for a few seconds and burst into flames and I blinked in surprise when I saw that after the sword burst into flames there was a pile of ashes on the ground.
Shinjin then turned to the agent and said, "That's how we deal with the silver sword. Now to deal with you!"
The agent's eyes went wide in horror. Before the guy could even speak another beam of light shot out of Shinjin's hand and the agent burst into flames. I gaped at the display of Shinjin's power. "Wow, you didn't even give the agent a chance to speak before you killed him?"
Shinjin tilted his head. "And why should I allow the enemy to speak? You know they most certainly wouldn't have given me a chance to speak before killing me."
I regained my composure and nodded. "Good point."
After that we managed to collect five of the Regrow Crystals without any resistance at all. It was almost too easy although Shinjin did live at Shaw Castle for most of his life up until now.
Once we collected the five Regrow Crystals we decided to call it quits for the day. We did that mostly because it was getting dark out and we needed a break. So we went to the hotel that we were directed to stay at. As we were turning in for the night I got another surprise from Shinjin.
"Um, Wrinkler, can I talk to you before we turn in for the night?" Shinjin asked.
I nodded. "Sure."
We went over and sat down on the bed.
"Okay so what's this all about?" I asked.
"Well I've been meaning to do this for a while but I kept chickening out on it," Shinjin said.
My eyes went wide a bit. "Is this what I think it is?"
Shinjin nodded. "Me admitting my feelings for you? Yes this is exactly what this is."
"Okay." I said. I didn't know what to think. "But aren't you in love with Agent Black?"
"Yes I am," Shinjin replied. "And her and Agent Silver have included me into their family but they did say that I could be with whoever else I want to be with besides them. Listen, you can be in love with more than one person. I know that from when I was with Dr. Crow. That's the main reason why I didn't leave him until a year after he captured Agent Black. He put her through so much abuse and torture and honestly I'm glad she doesn't remember that year that she was with him! I tried to help her out as much as possible and tried to reason with Dr. Crow at the same time. But he was very hard-headed and once he makes up his mind there's no stopping him."
I paused trying to process this information. True, I'm bisexual and I just broke up with my girlfriend Remi a few months ago and I thought I'd never find anyone after her. I wondered if I should even consider telling Shinjin how I felt about him, especially after seeing what he could do in a fight for the first time.
Then Shinjin surprised me again by reaching over and kissing me. I paused again wondering if I should take this any further. "Maybe we should…"
"Maybe we should do what?" Shinjin asked. "Oh I get it, you think we should take this slow but then again you're not really sure if you should do that and just jump right into it? Or you're not sure how you feel about me in general?"
"It's more the former than the latter," I replied. "This is just so sudden that's all. I mean I thought you were cute when I first met you but I didn't think it would turn into anything. That's mostly because I just broke up with my girlfriend Remi a few months before meeting you."
"I see," Shinjin said. He gave me a flirtatious smile. "Maybe we should just sit here and kiss for a moment and see where things go?"
I smiled back at him. "I like that idea."
I guess the make out session turned into a lot more than what I thought it would be. It seems I gained a boyfriend and had sex all one day or night in this case. From the way I see it that it seems like Shinjin wanted to kill two birds with one stone admit his feelings and then have sex with me. That was fine by me even though it was a little bit fast and unexpected.
