"Are you kidding?!" I groaned in frustration.
"Nope. I'm serious and we need to start in ten minutes."
"Why didn't you tell this in the morning or yesterday night!"
"It slipped and I'm sorry, just pack something." I glared at him while he lazily stood with arms crossed.
"All my clothes are in the laundry basket, Brad! I don't have anything to pack." he closed his eyes.
"I will do your laundry when we reach there. Just pack everything."
"Wait, I will pack your clothes. You just sit here and please don't yell," he added telling me to sit down.
He took the suitcase and walked towards the laundry basket. I decided to do the laundry tonight as I thought I will be resting my weekend but no... Brad forgot to tell me that we will be leaving to Las Vegas tonight. He needs to attend his training as his tournament starts.
"Why are you frowning? Everything is settled now."
"I thought I'm going to rest with you this weekend," I told him, he is folding the clothes.
"Just thrown them in the suitcase Brad, you will be doing laundry when we reach. Why fold them neatly?"
"I forget how messy woman you are when it comes to clothes. Why do you have these many clothes?"
"Hey, they aren't many. And mister, my frocks and dresses aren't there in that basket."
"Who will be dropping at the airport?" I asked, looking at the messages.
"We are going by taxi, someone will pick us when we reach Las Vegas."
"You have training all day?"
"No, half-day and the other half to rest," he replied.
"What I'm going to do when you leave for training?"
"You can go sightseeing or you can have a photoshoot, I will ask Mack to company you."

"Hmm."
"Done." Brad pulled our suitcases out while I switched off the main electricity.
The taxi is ready to take us to the airport. Travelling back and forth with Brad became a part of my life, attending all his tournaments and training with him. We stay in hotel suits or apartment, we decided to rent an apartment as for every two months we come to Las Vegas.
Brad's dream project is almost done. Flooring and painting is left, once everything is done the kids will be moving to the warehouse.
Brad and I decided to hold a ceremony function when we move in. It's his dream and the dream is coming true which is a very important achievement for Brad. I'm proud of my man.
"Brad." Brad looked at me raising his brow. I smiled shaking my head, I hugged his arm leaning my head against his arm. I felt his large palm on my thigh.
"Sir, can I have a picture with you? My son loves you so much." the driver said as we reached the airport.
"Hand me your phone, I will click a picture of you with him." The man smiled happily handing me his phone. Brad stood beside the man and smiled at the camera.
"He will be so happy sir, thank you." Brad shook hands with the man. I got an idea in my head.
"What is your son's name?" I asked the man as Brad paid him.
"Joy and he is thirteen."
"Oh, why don't you facetime or video call him. Brad and I will say hi to him." Brad looked at me with a smile shaking his head. We did this twice and Brad got habituated.
"Sure... Sure... He will be so happy." I stood beside Brad as he wrapped his arm around me. We waited as the man called his son with a huge smile.

"Wassup dad." we heard a voice.
"Look whom I met." the man said handing us the phone.
"Hi man," Brad said looking at the screen.
"Woah!!! Woah!!! Are you real? God! I love you so much... I'm a huge fan of you!" the boy blabbered while Brad listened with a smile. I chuckled when he said to smile as he wanted to take a screenshot.

Mack was there to pick us up, as usual, I leaned towards Brad's shoulder as I'm sleepy. Brad is texting on his phone while I rested.
"Ava, we are here." I opened my eyes to see we are at a different place.
"New hotel?"
"Nah, why don't you see yourself." He said opening my door. I got down to see we are in front of an apartment building.
"We are renting the apartment?" I asked.
"Nah, your man bought it," Mack said as we walked towards the lift.
"Why didn't tell me?" I was looking at Brad.
"I know you would disagree. I don't like leaving you in hotel suits and other places. We will be living here every two months. So I bought it."
"Hmm." I nodded my head holding his hand.
"So Ava, when is your brother going to release the new album?" Mack asked.
"I don't know, probably next month on his wife's birthday."
"Do me a favour by grabbing an autograph from your brother, my girlfriend is a huge fan of him." Brad shakes his head while I laugh.
"Sure."
"Off I go." Mack gave us a mocking salute leaving me and Brad. I pulled the suitcase in when Brad unlocked the door. The apartment is good and perfect for the two of us.
"This place is perfect and cosy." Brad smiled at my words wrapping his arms around me from the back.
"You need to do laundry babe." I pulled away as he groaned because I moved away from him.
"I'm sleepy, I will go and sleep." I walked into the room which Brad pointed as a bedroom. I turned on the air conditioning and got under the sheets as I let the sleep take over me. The whole month I was busy with my work and shoots.
Oh did I tell you my brother is going to be a dad soon, we got to know the news last month when we all gathered for a family dinner. They revealed the news that they are expecting. I'm happy for my brother and Valerie.
My mumma is back of me asking when I'm going to marry Brad. I'm tired of telling her that we are taking things slow and we aren't going tie the knot until everything settle down. We have our plans which need to be fulfilled first and I don't wanna expect a marriage proposal from Brad.
Anyhow, we both behave like a married couple, we live together, shop together and travel together. We work hard on each other's plans and most importantly we opened a joint account where we are saving our money for our future home. I'm happy with the relation I have with Brad.
I felt the bed dip, two arms were wrapped around me lazily. I smiled in my sleep as my thoughts were gone and a sense of peace settled down.
