Two alien ambassadors awaiting first contact in cloaked orbiting spaceships observed election results per a pact to avoid interstellar conflicts.
“50/50 outcome,” said one alien.
“Indeed, it is, but I think it’s my turn,” said the opposing alien.
“You may be right. Are you getting prepared already?”
“Yes, of course.” The alien donned a majestic glowing robe and carried a wooden-looking staff capable of telekinesis, replication, instant healing, and teleportation.
“I’m getting prepared as well, just in case.” The other alien wore a lab coat and held a universal everything tablet capable of accessing all known information in the galaxy.
