My head is like a storm

Where the thoughts are the hard rain

The voices are the thunder

And the strikes of pain are the lighting

Sometimes it all becomes too much

There are times where I feel like I'm drowning

Where the world crumbles beneath my feet

Where I'm tired of surviving

But even though the rain falls for days

Making the paths flood and wash away

Eventually the clouds begin clear up

And there's a rainbow in the sky created by the sun

Storms don't last forever, there's always an end

And the sun is eventually seen again

The waters go down and disappear

Given the damage, but the sky is clear

There will be days where there is flooding

For hours and hours, constant thundering

But the sky will clear and the sun will shine

The pain doesn't last forever, it'll get better with time
