Yep, that's why I haven't been posting. I currently have 55k words in the backlog, and I'm writing 2-3k more every day.
The rewrite is going to be substantially different from the first version. With a lot of additional content, including new characters, you'll see an improved version of Casual Heroing like never before. I like to think that this one is the outline, and that I finally got around writing the new novel: trust me, it does feel like until the rewrite the book had been clouded by thick mist, and only now I'm clearing it up.
Plus, I'm drawing a map of Amorium, Epretos, and more.
So far, the new volumes will be around 2.5-3 times longer than the original version. The story's timeline has been dilated as well. After the current volume 1, the storyline will change as well.

The plague is fake and actually magic in the story, but that has NOTHING to do with real world events. I am under NO CIRCUMSTANCE trying to make ANY kind of statement with it.
