《Law of God (Book 1)》Chapter Thirty-Eight

I marched to my mailbox and I got the mail out of the mailbox. After I went over the mail, I found an envelope with a note in it, and I opened it up.
As soon as I began reading the note, it was saying that this person's name was Valerie Myers, who lives in West Fargo as well. Valerie wrote a letter about how her husband's, whose now her ex, used to be one of Heather's husbands.
I chuckled, as I continued to read the letter. Valerie left me her number in case I needed to call or text her. I sighed, and I put away the letter back into the envelope.
I pretended I didn't know anything about the letter, so after I walked back into the house, I put away my letter in a hidden drawer where nobody would notice it.
Jacob came down the stairs, and I followed him from behind, I asked Jacob what he wanted for dinner and Jacob told me he wasn't hungry this time.
I understood, shaking my head, and I took a deep breath, and sighed, and Jacob was looking at his phone and he excitedly told me he received his weekly paycheck he receives every Friday evening and Jacob told me his allowance for this week's check.
"I made $160," Jacob said, excitedly to me.
"Is that the most you ever had since you started working at that seafood restaurant?" I asked, wondering.
"Jacob nodded his head, "Yeah, I usually make about $120, but I get paid more for working extra shifts and hours, and Mr. Carver must really think I work more harder than any of his other employees," Jacob said, and Jacob continued looking at his PayPal balance.
"Hm, getting paid extra, and being employee of the month really shows the value of your job as a waiter. I am so proud of you. I remember when you first became a teenager, you didn't like to work at all," I said to Jacob, chuckling.

Jacob chuckled at me, and he looked tired, I sighed, and I kept thinking about how much Jacob has changed. Jacob may only be fifteen years old, and I have never seen him work so hard in my life.
When Jacob first turned into a teenager, he would fuss about how work was boring and hard. Now as of two years later, Jacob is the hardest working guy at his job.
I remember when I first began working for my father and he and I used to go to peoples houses to mow the yard for them. I enjoyed helping out with my dad, and it put a smile on my dad's face.
Every Saturday was work day for my father and I, and I was exactly sixteen years old after going into remission and before working at a burger shop.
I worked as a dog trainer for a local animal shelter and I enjoyed every second of every minute of my time.
Apparently, Jacob and Marlo work at the same seafood restaurant. Marlo joined working at the seafood restaurant before Jacob had come along. Marlo is also a waiter and orders people's food.
Shortly after Jacob became employee of the month, it was Marlo's turn to become an employee of the month.
Marlo is also hard working with his job, and Jacob manages to save his own money up in case if he ever he moves into an apartment in the future after graduating high school.
Jacob has decided in three years he will be attending college.
Jacob's dream school is attending a college like Harvard University, and I think he'll be able to take a shot at it if he continues to work hard and be self sufficient in his own ways to make it happen.
But with the trial coming up, I don't think it will ever happen for Jacob to continue his career as a waiter, and shortly go to college to study pre med at Harvard.

I really want to see Jacob make his dream come true, not someone who will be going to prison for a crime I know once again he didn't commit, and Jacob sometimes asks me if I will be okay if Jacob does go to prison.
Sometimes, Jacob has people taking pictures of him, and even paparazzi's who are constantly asking Jacob if he's responsible for killing Izza.
I am thinking they were more like a journalist. But I told Jacob to just ignore them and walk away, they don't know what he's been through, after all these months.
Jacob suspiciously told me that he had a secret to tell me. I sort of thought maybe he was just joking, but he wasn't. Jacob cleared his throat, swallowing.
I just stood waiting for Jacob to tell me his secret. Jacob took a deep breath, and sighed, he told me that Izza was pregnant with their first child and he didn't want to tell me about it because Jacob thought I would get mad.
I chuckled, scoffing, "Um, when were you planning on telling me about this?" I asked, crossing my arms.
"I'm sorry, I wished there was a way to tell you take everything back from the beginning, even before I found out I was becoming a father at fifteen," Jacob said.
I was stunned, about Jacob who never told me Izza was pregnant. Jacob did say he was sorry, I nodded my head not knowing what to say.
"Are you mad at me?" Jacob asked, wondering, he was hoping I wasn't mad at him, "I um, I'm flabbergasted at you, but you know, I'm- I don't care about the fact you told me Izza was pregnant because she's not no longer pregnant anymore," I said to Jacob.
Jacob shook his head understanding what I was saying to him, "But I'm glad you told me the truth, because I then knew what you were hiding from me, and it takes guts to tell me what you said about becoming a father at such a young age," I said to Jacob.
"Even if Izza was still alive, would you help me raise this baby even if Izza didn't want it?" Jacob asked.
I nodded my head no, and I sighed, "Honestly, I would be quite confused at first, because raising a child is no different than raising a dog," I said to Jacob, then chuckling.
Jacob understood, shaking his head, and I sighed once again, "But I'd say you would make a good parent, and do what's best for your child," I said to Jacob once again.
