3 more days have passed the cell games are two days away and trunks has finally come back to capsule Corp trunks soon makes his way into the living room

Yamcha:oh hey man been a while since anyone's seen you
Trunks:yamcha guys what are you all still doing here shouldn't you guys have been out training
Krillin:well me a yamcha have trained a bit but the only ones really training would be you your dad, Piccolo and Tien everyone else is just... Resting
Bulma:we're actually going to be having big dinner with everyone
Trunks:how can you all be so calm
Krillin:when your best friend is Goku you learn to kinda go with the flow
Yamcha:besides we have something cell doesn't four ascended Super Saiyans and a Super Namekian I'm kinda liking our odds and with you, Vegeta and piccolo training hard I like our chances even more that is mostly you and piccolo frankly I don't know if Vegeta will be able to control his ego
The sound of a car is heard
Bulma:that's probably Goku
Shiki:HE GOT HIS LICENSE!?
Hyōrinmaru:didn't he do that in the anime
TRUNKS:I THOUGHT THAT WAS FILLER!!
Shiki:who would trust Goku to drive it's madness...
Goku and the others walk in
Goku:hey guys hope we aren't late
Bulma:actually you guys are early
Chichi:I tried to tell him but he insisted here I brought some ham some turkey, fish and a few apple pies
Gohan:so that's why you had me go out and find 2000 apples
Shiki:sounds like a video game side quest
Bulma:why 2000 apples there is not enough pies here for 2000 apples

Chichi:Goku and I needed to talk privately

Bulma:hey trunks why don't you go see if your father will be joining us

Bulma:where else would he be bug in the gravity room
Trunks sighs at this but turns on his heel and begins to make his way to his father
Hyōrinmaru:what are the odds that he's going to let us talk to him
Shiki:well he seems.... Somewhat nice when it's just trunks and himself it's when others are around that he's a total ass
Trunks eventually makes it to the gravity room door as he opens it and walks in immediately feeling the change in gravity but staying on his feet as he readjusts himself
Trunks:father
Vegeta looks back at trunks before huffing and continuing his training
Trunks:mother wants to know if you will be joining us for dinner
Vegeta:.... We'll see now go away I'm busy
Trunks runs a hand through his hair and sighs before turning around and leaving making his way back to the living room once he gets there bulma asks about Vegeta's answer
Trunks:he said we'll see sorry but I was kicked out of the gravity room shortly after
Bulma:*sigh* it's fine that's just Vegeta why don't you go sit down and watch TV why we get everything ready
Trunks:sure
Trunks walks to the council seeing krillin and yamcha watching TV trunks sits down and looks at the TV
Trunks:this stuff is so weird... It's pretty different from the stuff back in my old world...

Hyōrinmaru:but all the other stuff... Is pretty different
Yamcha:hey trunks you ok man
Krillin:yeah you... Look kinda tired
Trunks:I'm fine

Time skip a few hours later
The sun is setting and everyone is setting up the tables and chairs outside before they can finally go and get their plates and eat or rather everyone is about to finally eat until a door opens revealing Vegeta
Trunks:did he find time to take a shower
Hyōrinmaru:interesting
Vegeta grabs a plate and begins putting food on it before sitting
Vegeta:what are you morons looking at
Everyone save for a few goes back to eating
Goku:pretty sure we were lookin at you didn't think you'd join us
Vegeta:what i do is none of your business kakarot
Trunks:this is weird
Trunks begins to eat as he wonders about the cell games
Meanwhile
Cell:... I'm bored and want cake maybe that bakery still has some... Or would they'd be bad by now ... Damn it this is so BORING!!!
