《Lost In the Void. (Monster Evolution LitRpg)》Chapter 25 Jump.

"What the fuck did I do. Jumping off a mountain for no fucking reason just because I couldn't kill something that was flying yet." I groaned while my body fixed the damage slowly. Bones snapped back together and fused back into the right places they should be at. I rolled over to lay on my back and just stared at the ceiling of the shack.
Feeling that the bone of my are was sticking out, I grabbed my wrist and pulled hard to get it into the skin again. I hit myself with another heal and a little bit of water. And watched as my body's healing sped up. It shouldn't even take 40 minutes now that the bones are all in the right places. Now I must wait for my muscles, organs, and skin to heal.
As I lay there, the magic video started to play again. I couldn't even move to stop it. I was once again floating above the crowd looking at the skull. "Fuck I didn't want to play you again!" I yelled as I tried to keep still to heal faster.
I watched the performance again sooner than I had planned to. I heard something laughing from where the desk was and jumped up as my blood raged inside of me like a storm that never ended. Pain flared up as I stood on broken legs readying a bolt to tear a hole through whoever was there. As my eyes landed on the desk, I saw nothing except a dark green mist already fading away. It was the same as the door color I took inside the tattoo.
That fucking tentacled fuck turned it back on to fuck with me. I barely held myself in control, almost forgetting about the pain in my legs. So I moved over to the desk by grabbing on the wall to help ease the walk over to it. Then sat in the chair to fix the damage to my legs.
I used the buff to my advantage and put the bones back into the right areas. It hurt but wasn't as bad as when I was given flesh and blood. All that needed to happen was for them to heal with time now.
Reaching where the crystal was, I grabbed and picked it up, looking at the thing that nearly killed me. I glared out it for a bit before throwing it into the tattoo so I couldn't be started up again without my permission.
It seems like the little shack can't keep gods out. I will need to find a way to keep this from happening again. Maybe If my tier is high enough, the shack can block more things from entering without my say-so.
A while longer, and I was finished healing. Everything was back in the right place, not sticking out of my skin or barely hanging on anymore. I need to wait for the buff to end before leaving, as I won't get stronger relying on it. I don't need it to kill things, as I am already powerful. No, don't think like that. That is the buff the song the crystal had on it is making me feel. I can't be too cocky and then rush out there to die. I will not let this control me. I am in control.

I waited for about 20 more minutes as the buff finally ended and left a message from the system about it. With a clear mind, I had the tattoo swallow the shack again as I walked out the door and closed it. I sighed as I had to head back up the tunnel I found to get to the top again. So I started the walk to where I thought the entrance was.
I was not lucky at all to go the wrong way around the bottom of the mountain and had to go back after reaching emptiness. Like there was just nothing there. I picked up a sliver tree branch and threw it out there, and it just disappeared, like there one second, then just gone. I wanted to stick my hand out there but didn't want to temped fate again by doing another stupid thing. I left and went searching for the entrance again.
If I get strong enough, I might be able to mess around one day and survive whatever that was. After reaching the tunnel, I ran to get back to the upper tunnels of the mountain to finish exploring.
I passed by where I had jumped out of and cringed a little. Thinking about it now with a clear head, couldn't I have used my new skill to help save my ass while falling. My fucking blink skill, damn, I completely forgot about it. I need to get used to using all more skills to use them on instinct. I'll need to test to see if I can use it to save my ass from falling—more stuff to try and train now too. But at least I won't be bored doing it.
The tunnel started splitting off again with different layers of homes for the monsters who flew or hunted from the shadows. There wasn't anything at all as most, if not all, of the monsters, were probably out hunting or drinking at the pond. I had finally reached the top of the mountain, where I saw an opening that exited the tunnel I was in. As I stepped out, I placed my foot into something icy cold. I looked down to see the light blue powder covering the rocky ground. It was wet and weird. This felt new like I had never seen this before. That is true since I am technically a week or two old now.
Crouching down, I stuck my hand into the wet and cold power, pulling out a handful of the stuff. I watched as it fell through my fingers. And that's when I heard the fucking annoying prick of a bird monster from the pond talking shit to something 40ft away from the entrance. A smile grew on my face as I slowly moved toward the sounds. I had 129 bolts ready to release, and since it was still daytime, the light from the bolts was almost impossible to notice. Foulbeak Pest Lv 9 tier 2 and a Void Bat Lv 10 Tier 2 were talking to each other while eating something hard to recognize what it was due to the damage from them eating it. But my new eye called it a pile of destroyed meat. Since it is low, I won't get more out of it yet.

The bat had noticed me but kept quiet about me sneaking up on this fucker. I whispered to the bat, "You can have its body after I kill it." It smiled and went back to stroking the Foulbeak's ego. I didn't care about what they were talking about since it wasn't anything important. Mostly it was about the weak scum that had no wings and had to crawl on the dirt like the worms they were.
A few moments later, it was time for me to launch all the bolts at it. Seeing me ready, the bat slowly moved out of the bolt's path. When the bat was out of the way, I spoke to the bird. "Hey, you stupid fuck eat this."
The Foulbeak turned with meat in its mouth and looked on in horror as it watched 115 bolts fly at it. "What the fu..." It was cut off before even finishing its sentence. Nothing was left of it, even though I told the bat I would leave the body for it to eat.

Void Bat Pov.
Seeing the body be torn apart and vaporized, I flew into a rage because the weird creature had lied to me. I scream as a shockwave hits the thief and liar. Every time it tried to move, I would hit it with another scream. Blood poured out of the ears and eyes. I kept hitting it, but it just wouldn't die. Scream after scream hit the twitching body, lying on the cold ground writhing in pain. I didn't stop until I ran out of mp and couldn't scream anymore.
I shuffled over to the weird thing lying there on the snow and went in for the kill as my mouth opened and latched on to the neck of the thing. I began to drink the blood of it, and dear Mother, was it good. It was the best blood I had ever had. It even tasted better than the Pond. What was making this thing taste so good?
I began to savor the blood of Twilight Kid Lv 4 Tier 2. I wanted to keep the kid. This is mine, and nobody will ever have it. I stopped and licked my lips.
Then I felt something grab my leg and squeeze hard, making me unable to move. As my mouth opened in shock as the thing on the snow-covered ground was still alive and able to move.

MC Pov.
My ears and eyes were bleeding heavily; I could not think properly about anything because of the continuous use of sound magic against me. The pain wasn't the worst; my broken ear drums were the worst. It didn't help that my eyes were blurry and hard to see.
Some time went by before the magic stopped hitting me. I had only 90 hp left and was pissed, so I waited for my eyesight to get better and the bat to get closer to finish me off. I heard it shuffle over to me and felt pressure on my neck as it began to drain me of my blood. 70 hp was left as it drank my blood. Not wanting to die, I hit myself five heals and raised my head to see where the bat was.
I saw its clawed feet, grabbed as hard as I could, and squeezed, not letting go. 14 bolts were almost gone and only there held there by willpower alone. I was launching them directly into the open mouth of the bat, killing it instantly and leaving a wide open hole through the back of the void bat's head.
"Hahahahaha. Damn, that sucked. I need to find lower-tier bats to build my resistance to sound magic and any new type of magic he finds outside. I want to have, at the very least, all of the resistance skills I have into the second tier." I rolled over into my back twice in one day. I sighed again as I had more stuff to do before reaching the third tier and evolving again.
Seeing nothing else to do but head back down the tunnels, I can try to test my blink skill up here.
I then brought up the messages from the system to read over.
You have killed a Foulbeak Pest Lv 9 tier 2, and a Void Bat Lv 10 Tier 2 rewards are being granted now.
You have reached level 6/15 +8 Int, +4 Str, +2 Vit, and + 8 free points.
The system should know what to do with the free points. Straight into Int, they left me with a total of 1144mp. Seeing the new total of mp I had now, I thought about seeing If I could keep blinking straight to the pond in the middle of the, but after a while, I realized I wouldn't get close to the pond at a distance, it would take to get back. But seeing as I can blink 110 times before I run out of mp.
Still lying down, I blinked a few times to get 100ft straight up, started to fall fast, waited until I was 5ft above the ground, and blinked up again. I slowed the speed, dropped by half, and landed on my feet.
Even if I couldn't get to the pond, I could probably make it to the bottom much faster if I did the same thing as when I jumped out the side of the mountain. And I took a few minutes to decide if I wanted to jump off the top. Going to the edge of the ledge, I looked down.
I can use my blink more in the tunnels of the mountain than just going straight down. Plus, running down will increase my Agi by a point or more, and my blink might level more using it in an area with less room. Welp time to get running.
