There's no way in the world Jungkook was able to have peace of mind knowing the implications of what he did to Taemin. He had run away from the Omega out of fear but as the minutes ticked, guilt washed over him and his chest tightened. The truth threatened and fought to leave his mouth and the more he tried to overcome it, the more he wanted to burst into tears and go down on his knees to beg the moon goddess to take him. It hurt him that he could do such evil to his best friend, his boyfriend, someone he claimed to love. He was wrong on all sides and nothing could serve a better punishment more than telling the truth and facing the consequences.

Arin was weeding at the backyard when Jungkook called out for her in a tone that she never heard before. The Omega became instantly protective of her son, looking around their yard in case someone had come to hurt her pup. Jungkook had never shed a tear except for when he was a baby so it was very concerning that he'd call for her so sorrowfully.

"Mummy... please come". Jungkook asked pitifully. His body shivered and he felt dizzy from all the terrible emotions he was feeling.

"Kook dear. What happened? What's wrong?" Arin asked as she followed her son into the house .

The young Alpha led her to their small living room where he went down on his knees and begged his mother. Arin was confused and she tried hoisting the boy up but Jungkook remained on the floor crying and mumbling his confession repeatedly.

"Mummy I hurt him. I didn't mean to, I promise". Jungkook said.

"What happened kook, tell me what it is. Mummy will make it better". Arin sat on the floor and pulled Jungkook to her body, resting the boy's head on her chest as he wailed into her cloth.

"I hurt him". Jungkook sniffled.

"You hurt who?" Arin asked. She could figure out who Jungkook was talking about and she hoped it was nothing too serious. Probably a breakup or some relationship issue.

"Taemin...I hurt him and I made him cry and it hurts so much in my chest mummy. Make it stop". The young Alpha clutched his mother's shirt so tightly as his body shook.

"He saw you with another Omega?" Arin guessed.

"No uh". He shook his head.

"He don't want you no more?"

"I forced him mummy...I didn't mean to do it but my rut came and I couldn't control myself and I made Taemin visit me. I couldn't see him properly I swear, I could only smell him and I lost control". The young Alpha sobbed as he explained the incident. Every word brought back the recent memory and it hurt even more than before.

"Jungkook, son, listen...look at me pup". Arin wiped the young Alpha's teas with her shirt as she tried to console him.

"There was blood, mummy". Jungkook added.

"I know but listen to me. You have to tell me where he lives so we can go beg him. They'll attack you anytime from now". Arin asked. The heartbreaking news was one of her greatest fears since Jungkook presented. Jungkook was nothing like his father JK who was more responsible and knowledgeable.

This was one of those moments when she needed Jk by her side to raise their son. Regardless of the fact that the late Alpha was not in love with her, they were officially mated and they had Jungkook together. Arin was Jk's attempt at forgetting about his feelings for Jimin back then.

When the late Alpha vanished after helping Jimin birth a pup, he made up his mind to move on from the unrequited love. Afterwards, he met Arin who was madly in love with him and he thought it was better to settle down with someone. A year later, they had Jungkook hence the boy was just a year younger than Jimin's pup.

Arin was not a bad woman at all. She had her own taste of suffering, from getting mated to an Alpha who didn't love her, to becoming a widowed Omega and raising an Alpha son all alone. She'd grown a tough skin against the world until Jungkook did the unthinkable.

For all she knew, Taemin's parents could call the rogue control force on them and get them locked up forever. They could even kill her son the way they did his father. She wouldn't let that happen.

"Tell me that omega's home address". Arin insisted.

There was no way Taehyung was going to keep such crucial information from his mate. After Taemin fell asleep in his arms, he gently laid the teenager down before making his way to him and Jimin's bedroom. He wanted to tell the Omega everything and then they'd go together to report Jungkook to the authorities.

But with the way Jimin was singing so joyfully and happily packing up for their vacation, Taehyung couldn't bring himself to tell him such awful news.

Jimin deserved the vacation, deserved to be happy, deserved a life without bad news.

"How is he?" Jimin asked when he noticed his mate standing idly by the door.

"He...umm...well, just teenage mood swings and all.

"Taemin doesn't have mood swings. I know him too well, except for right now". Jimin furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head in disagreement. There must be something else wrong with his son. "He didn't tell you any specific thing?" The Omega inquired.

Taehyung shut the bedroom door and walked closer to his mate who was sitting on the bed with a worried look on his face. The Alpha was sad, he'd been holding his emotions since his son told him about that incident. He was angry but he was sad too and when he joined his mate on the bed, the Alpha burst into tears to Jimin's surprise.

"Hey Alpha". Jimin whispered. He rarely saw Taehyung cry. Alphas don't do that unless the matter was extremely serious. Jimin's heart was racing as he imagined what could make his Alpha cry. "Come here my love, tell me everything". Jimin hugged his mate so tight and started scenting him. If they were in their wolf forms, Jimin would be licking the Alpha's face and body to calm him down.

Taehyung let the Omega hold him as he cried into his chest just the way their son had previously cried on his too.

"You going to tell me?" Jimin whispered in the Alpha's ear, kissing it after wards.

"Taemin was forced by a rogue". The Alpha revealed.

Jimin froze. His entire body shut down as he held on to the Alpha, hoping to find an atom of lie in what he said.

Now it was Taehyung's turn to calm his Omega down. They were still in a hugging position and it was as if their hold on each other became tighter. They wouldn't let go of each other. The pain was too much and if staying this close would reduce it by one percent, then they wouldn't let go at all.

"But he's a good kid. Who would hurt a harmless pup like Taemin?" Jimin asked as he sniffled.

"I promise I'll get to the root of the matter. I just need you to stay calm and trust me to make sure our pup heals". The Alpha said.

"I can't stay calm Alpha".

Taehyung broke the hug and his thumbs brushed each side of Jimin's face as he connected their foreheads and looked into the Omega's eyes.

"Listen to me baby. This is just one of those trying times when we need to be one. This is why we're mates and we need to help each other hold on. Trust me baby, our pup will heal".

"But what do we do?"

"Love. We give him all the love in the world".

"Alpha it hurts in my chest". The Omega shook his head, trying to shake off the tears but it didn't work.

"I know baby. You can cry".

There was a knock on the bedroom door causing the mates to let go of each other and wipe their tears before they heard Maya's voice.

"Mama it's me". Maya said from outside and waited until her parents permitted her into the room. She immediately understood that something was wrong. The air was too thick and her Mama's eyes were puffy.

"Do you need anything my love" Taehyung asked, still holding Jimin whose head was on the Alpha's shoulder.

"Umm, there's an Omega and her Alpha son at the door. They want to see you and Mama. But I could tell them to return later". Maya said.

"Tell them we'll be with them shortly". Taehyung said.

Maya ran out of the room and once she was outside, she coughed and panted heavily. The mixed scents of her parents almost choked the life out of her.

"It's them". Taehyung informed Jimin who was wiping his tears, trying to look as normal as possible before they meet the guests.

"Who?" Jimin asked confused.

"The boy who forced our son". Taehyung informed.

Jimin's head snapped. No longer interested in looking presentable to the guests. The Omega bared his fangs, ready to attack. He'd gone feral without thinking twice and no one, not even Taehyung would stop him from tearing the rogue into two.

"Baby wait wait wait". Taehyung tried to hold his mate.

"Out of my way Mr Kim". The Omega barked.
