《The Mandalorian of Attack On Titan.》Chapter 17

Officer:"Commander! The titans have us pushed back! The troops are falling back, artillery can't open fire without inflicting friendly fire."
Erwin:"I see, thank you. Return to your unit and await further instructions."
Officer:"Sir!"
Din:"What's your thought?"
Erwin:"Just strange that there are more titans than usual, far more."
Din:"I noticed that too, the gun emplacements will get overran sooner or later. We might just have to abandon this town."
Erwin:"While I agree, it took us quite some time to recapture this town. We've already gotten too many supplies down here to lose."
Levi:"Erwin, why haven't you sent us in yet? My team can hold them off to buy some time for the Scouts down there."
Erwin:"Because things aren't adding up here..."
Levi:"What?"
As if his question was answered, a blue signal flare was shot into the air. The order to retreat from Hange at the front lines, no longer able to hold back the dozens of titans.
Erwin:"Din, hurry and find Hange."
Din:"On it."
Din jet packed into the air and straight into the fighting. From the air he could see the Scouts falling back. The infantry units firing and maneuvering as they fall back. A good amount of artillery guns were lost due to them being trampled from the oncoming horde.
Din spotted Hange on a roof top with an injured Scout. He wasn't the only one though, a 13 meter titan was heading her way. Acting fast, he dove down with hilt in hand and slashed the titans nape with the Dark Saber.
Hange:"Din!"
Din:"What are you doing? Everyone is falling back."
Hange:"Help me carry this one back! He's lost his arm but I've stopped the bleeding!"

Din looked at the poor sap and knew he wasn't going to make it. In order to save Hange, he promised to take him back himself.
Din:"You go, I'll carry the man back with me. You need your hands free but I don't."
Hange:"Alright, I'll meet you back there!" She told him and took off. Din looked at the unconcious man and pulled out his blaster pistol. Hange was already out of sight when the blast went off.
_________
Hange:"I believe this was the same thing that happened when Wall Maria fell. Dozens of titans suddenly appear out of the blue looking as if they were going to a specific point."
Levi:"We're way out in titan territory. There's no way that's the cause when we might just be pushing out luck with the new weaponry we got."
Hange:"But remember we got back and they were all traveling like a herd! There's no other way of explaining it!" While the two were bickering, Erwin and Din walked into the tent.
Hange:"Erwin, you have to hear this!"
Erwin:"I already have a suspicion." He raised his hand, stopping her from going any further.
Erwin:"I just hope it isn't true. We'll wait here."
Din:"Wait for what?" He asked. A Garrison soldier ran into the tent, out of breath. Hange's eyes widened, Levi's face darkened, and Din's heart sunk.
Garrison soldier:"TITANS HAVE BROKEN THROUGH TROST!!!"
Erwin:"Waiting for that, dismissed."
Garrison soldier:"Sir!"
Everyone was quiet in the tent when news dropped. Outside the tent was a crowd of Scouts that just overheard the entire thing. Many felt their heart sink, others threw up, and some cried.
Erwin:"Gather up the Scouts and get ready to head back. We can't waste a single second here any longer."

Hange:"What about the guns?"
Erwin:"We have no need of them in the district, it's too crowded for any sort of use with them. I'll have Mike stay here to command our forces here, the rest goes with us."
Hange and Levi left the tent to quickly give out orders and prepare to leave. Din was eerily quiet and Erwin knew why. He walked up to his friend to give him reassurance.
Erwin:"I know who lives in Trost. Carla and Frieda should be fine, they're smart women."
Din:"I thought they'd be safe in Trost. If something were to happen to them then it'd be my fault for putting them there."
Erwin:"Don't blame yourself, we can't be so sure of anything just yet."
Din:"You're right."
Erwin:"Let's go."
____________
Armin:"Go Eren! You can do it!"
Mikasa:"He's almost there, keep protecting his sides!"
*RARGH!!*
A ploom of dust spewed into the air when the giant boulder was slammed into the open gate. The battle of Trost had ended but not without a frightening discovery made on humanities side. The titan that Eren had control of suddenly dropped to the ground with enormous amounts of steam coming off of it.
Armin and Mikasa both went down to check on him but were caught by surprise. A titan nearly caught them both if it weren't for Levi. The beast fell with a mighty thud next to Eren's titan as the boy caught a quick glimpse of Levi's back before passing out.
Eren:"The Wings...of Freedom.."
Levi:"Hey brat, tell me what the hell went down here." He ordered. Dozens of Scouts leapt over the wall and into the city followed by a shiny man. Armin and Mikasa knew full well who that man was when he flew right over them.
Armin:"Mikasa..."
Mikasa:"I know, it's dad."
With a detonator in both hands, Din flew over a group of titans and dropped them. The explosion didn't kill but incapacitated several of them making them easy kills for the Special Squad.
Petra:"Ha!"
Oruo:"Damnit woman! You got in my way!"
Petra:"Shut it and focus on the job at hand before you bite your tongue!"
Oruo:"I don't do th-!" He spoke until he bit his tongue.
Petra:"I told you!"
Back with Levi, Armin and Mikasa were both forced to surrender Eren to the military police. They were about to take them too but Levi stopped them on account of her being Din's kin.
Levi:"You take her and I'll break every bone in your body."
MP:"Tch, fine. We only need the boy anyway." He responded and left with his MP buddy.
Levi:"You two, start speaking."
Armin:"Y-yessir! It's like I explained it. Eren has the ability to turn into a titan."
Levi:"Goodness, if that's true then Four-eyes will have a field day with him."
Mikasa:"Is she here?"
Levi:"Yeah, she's probably with Erwin at the moment. Why? You miss Auntie Four-eyes?" He teased.
Mikasa:"Shut up." She pouted and looked away.
Levi:"Go, I'll get a statement from him. I'm sure your father is around here somewhere." He told her. She looked back at him giving her a nod. Without hesitation, she left.
Armin:"Wait, Mi...ka...sa." He whispered her name not wanting to get left with Humanities Strongest Soldier by himself.
Levi:"Start talking."
