With the talk done with Jackson we leave the HQ and go towards the barracks where the team should be and brief them on the operation that we have planed for tonight, and for the coming months as well. It sure is going to be eventful here in last light for a little. With walking you sure do have a lot to think about but at this moment I have the feeling of fear around me and the team at this moment, I don’t know why but I feel as if people are looking at us in fear for being very ominous in how we look maybe but even then we are showing the flag on our uniforms to show that yes we are a part of last lights military so don’t be scared, but I feel that it has something different from that they know that we are from the military but what do we even do, the first thing is that of fight the Aku-no in the recently captured sector and win to live another day so I guess that is something to be afraid of someone for or group.

When we finally did reach the barracks a little feud was being made between two teams and we were somehow caught in between that said feud, the teams in question are Team: 9876 and Team: 3109 two Teams that I have never heard about but apparently they are the most competitive Teams in the military and like to both challenge the newer formed teams to a said challenge and now it looks like our turn to have the said challenge face us how fun but we don’t need or don’t want to face it as it is going to get in the way of what we need to do.

As we got closer we started to hear what they wanted us to do for the challenge but it was vague the distance that we were at but once reached the entrance to the main area for teams to assemble and rest or like I have said the barracks now once we had entered we finally heard what they were rambling about and it was something to be heard “Come on just tell us where you captain is and we will leave you alone yeah” the solider in question that was being talked to turned to face them but saw me and straighten upped “Sir, we are ready to be deployed at your notice” the two men turn around to also see me a approached to talk but Kimber and the rest of command unit were not having it and stepped in front of me “What is it that you want form our UTC” they both suddenly stop to look at them both “listen we are of higher rank so let us to your Captain we won’t trust us” unlike the two men in front of me I know that both Kimber and Winters who was also in front of me, the other two were still beside me, wont step back to let them talk to me unless I tell them to I place my hand on their shoulder, they step back and I step forward to talk to the boys as I feel like playing a little villain at this moment.

“What is it that you want from me, and it better not be that stupid challenge that you guys want us to do, because if so go laugh at someone else with this joke of yours” they look at me with daggers want to teach me why I fucked up so they both lunge forward at me one diverts to the side to get a kick the other one goes straight forward for me going for a punch, I go forward and grab the arm of man going the punch and break his arm he screams I pain and falls to the ground and them the person going for the kick In shock of what happened stops what he was doing, I move towards him he throws a punch I catch it in my hand and also proceed to break his arm he goes down the exact same way that punch dude did. With the amount of screaming going on people from other teams come into the room wondering what the fuck happened and then saw me with my teams insignia on my back and same goes with the rest of the team we all have the insignia on our back, but after they saw the insignia they left one dude called for a medic for both punch man and kick guy, I like those names I should call them that from now on.

I kneel down to talk to them but when I kneel they both move back in fear of what I will do next “now, I am UTC, Thorn of Team: 5165 or Bringer’O’Death is what that we call ourselves, now please keep that in mind when you like to throw such a stupid challenge at us” they both nod to what I have said “good now leave” they both proceed to do so but in painful manor as well their arm is broken, but in the end they did leave, with that over and done with I face the team standing waiting for orders to be spoken or to be briefed on the next mission I give the sing for Kimber to do his job and so he steps forward and talks about what we are going to do for the raid on the hide out of the enemy which is going to be us moving to the top of last light and go in top down that is the plan that we have set up for us to do we have gotten the location and everything now we just have to get up top and go knock on the windows of some nobles.

3 Hours later

Being outside like this reminds me of when I was kid going outside to play and explore little new things as we were close to a gate to head out there and we were a very well known mutant hunter family so the guards never bothered me or my brother when we went out side of the protection to go have fun but the winds on top of the city are rough as all hell we are lucky that we have safety harness’s at this moment other wise we would be flying off here. Right now, we are currently heading to two spots that could house the HQ one has a outside viewing room and the other is a regular building that just reach’s the limit height for said buildings in the noble sector’s of the city. Now, both are marked so there no need to have to spend a very long time to find the buildings we need but the location of both of them make me unsure if we have the right ones as they are both right next to each other not even 500 meters apart from each other it like they want us to find them.

We place the charges down on one of the buildings which is the outside viewing one ang go in through the glass as if we shoot it or use force the gap won’t be big enough to get a reasonable force through it so explosives are a good thing to wit*KABOOM*h, I hate the timing on you guys. with a entrance made the team only have a good 5 minutes to clear it before the hole gets covered by a very strong metal to stop mutants from getting in a reeking all kinds of havoc but by the look of one room we don’t need a minute or 30 seconds to tell that it is clear but it us used so the other building is our lucky target for today but before when can breach it we need to place a protective shield around the parameters of the building as if we just blow the protective shield now we are letting polluted air into the sector killing a lot of people if panic happens which is guaranteed so we need to place a little bubble around the area under the protective shield, how? I don’t even know how it is done either but a tube is placed and cuts a small hole in the shield and they drop a small grenade full of nanos, new breakthrough done by the defence research area of weapons development. In no time the go ahead is given charge placed and boom of goes the protective shield second one is placed on the roof and bo*BOOM*om hole made.

This time we going enter first to see if it’s clear, “Let’s begin the operation shall we” I throw rope down and repel down as I fell my feet touch the floor I let go of the rope and bring up my weapon, seeing as in the gas masks we have personally made for us have Thermal and Night Vision I turn on thermal to that there two in the room so with surprize and shock in them we might as well take them prisoner, “On your knees or we shoot now!”
