“First, I want to recognize Luo Chen.”

At Yang Lianfeng’s words, Luo Chen immediately looked up. Everyone in the class looked his way as well.

Yang Lianfeng smiled as he said, “There are 4,000 people in this grade and last time, he placed last. This time, he ranked 576. This is a giant leap of improvement!”

Everyone applauded at once. Luo Chen pinched at the black ear stud in his ear – a little embarrassed.

“Obviously this proves that there are no stupid students. It all depends on whether or not you want to learn.”

Yang Lianfeng exclaimed out of happiness then continued, “The next student I want to recognize is Qiao Qing. I’m sure everyone just heard of the marks she received.”

“Other than skipping the essay on the literature exam, which landed her 90 points, she scored perfect in all other subjects. She ended up with 690 points and is number 1 in this grade. She’s 49 points ahead of the second placer!”

Everyone who listened to this gasped.

Qiao Nian stared at Qiao Qing in disbelief. Her pretty face got whiter and whiter.

Jiang Yi once again felt his soul getting crushed. He didn’t expect her to do so well on subjects other than math and science.

Luo Chen took the other two marked answer sheets from Qiao Qing and looked them over.

Then, a pair of light grey, glass like eyes stared at Qiao Qing’s graceful face in bewilderment. It was as if he no longer recognized her.

“The moment the exam started, everyone complained that the exam was too hard. No matter how difficult it was, it didn’t surpass high school levels. There are also someone who scored perfectly. So you should all self-reflect and identify where you are lacking.”

Yang Lianfeng’s words made Qiao Nian’s desk-mate, Xu Yingying burst out, “Teacher, I have an objection!”

“All morning, teachers of all subjects, spent three hours to come up with 30 questions that are more difficult than the exam itself. Yet Qiao Qing took less than 30 minutes to answer them.”

Yang Lianfeng described the event so lighty, but no students could sit still from shock after what he had said.

“So, Qiao Qing and Luo Chen are two different cases. She didn’t counterattack, she merely never revealed her true skills.”

Then, Yang Lianfeng paused, “Don’t you all know who her father is?”

Those words straight up shut a group of students up.

He was right. How could the daughter of a renowned genius be incapable?

“Big sis Qiao is a beast!” Hou Zibin led a round of applause.

School was finally over at 12:30.
