Originally, he was worried that because of what happened with Jun Xiaoqi, there may be some rift between those two. But unexpectedly, these two actually have gone this far!

Qiao Qing glanced at him speechlessly. Then she walked back to her room.

Mu Jinghang watched Qiao Qing return and then laughed.

So it seemed like his third brother wasn’t all that. The girl acted like nothing had happened.

He then walked into Jun Yexuan’s room.

Once he realized that the room was empty, Mu Jinghang was stunned. Where was he?

Qiao Qing returned to her room, washed up, and changed. When she came out of the bathroom, she saw Jun Yexuan staring at her with a grin, “Good morning.”

After she thought about last night, Qiao Qing paused and walked to him.

She eyed his injury and said gently, “Don’t move. I’ll get someone to bring breakfast here.”

Jun Yexun heard how soft and kind Qiao Qing’s voice was and felt like this stab wound was worth it.

He looked at the composition of the room and his heart rate shot up, “Did we sleep on the same bed last night?”

Qiao Qing rolled her eyes at him, “Do you think that’s possible?”

Jun Yexuan wasn’t disappointed and merely smiled at her, “Where did you sleep?

Before she responded, he continued, “My room?”

Qiao Qing replied, “…The room belongs to my house.”

Jun Yexuan’s smile deepened.

He thought about how she slept on the bed he slept on and used the blanket he’s used, he felt more satisfied than if she had slept next to him.

Qiao Qing sensed his strange gaze, looked away and walked out.

When she got downstairs, He Wanqing asked, “It’s almost time for breakfast. How come you came down alone? Where’s little Xuan?”

Qiao Qing licked her lips, “It’s not really convenient for him to come down right now.”

Then, she looked over to the nutritionist who was busy prepping, and ordered, “Prepare a set of blander and healthier dishes for me.”

He Wanqing’s lips formed into an O, “Baby, are you that beast?”

Qiao Qing’s face turned dark, “He’s injured!”

He Wanqing’s lips widened even more.

He Wanqing didn’t know, but Mu Jinghang knew that those two didn’t sleep together last night.

When he heard what she had said, he jolted out of his seat, “What happened? How did he get hurt? He was fine when we returned last night wasn’t he?”

Qiao Qing didn’t know how to answer.

What was she going to say?

She held a knife against him and he stabbed himself with it?

Qiao Qing just didn’t answer. Then, she brought the food the nutritionist prepared up the stairs.

Mu Jinghang wanted to follow but He Wanqing stopped him, “What’s up with those two?”

“Auntie, I don’t know. But I don’t think it’s what you are thinking.”

Then, he headed upstairs.

He Wanqing had a bad feeling so she followed as well.

Inside the room, Qiao Qing set up the dishes and brought out an extra pillow to cushion the headboard. She then bent down and helped Jun Yexuan sit up.

Her soft hair unintentionally touched his naked shoulder. A soft scent entered his nostrils.

Jun Yexuan’s heart felt itchy by this small event. He couldn’t help but inch closer and breathe her scent in.

Qiao Qing didn’t notice this and just felt something cold by her neck.

After she helped him up, she pushed the tray of food before him, “Eat.”

Jun Yexuan gave the dishes a look and then gave her a look. There was some sourness in his voice, “You are not going to feed me?”

“…your hands aren’t injured,” Qiao Qing replied.

Jun Yexuan sighed but refused to pick up the chopsticks. Instead, he held onto Qiao Qing’s hand.

“I wanted to ask you before. I want to go to the bathroom. What do I do?”
