"Ugh I hate school" Dante complained as they all sat down for breakfast.

"Me too. What's the point" Matteo added.

"Shut it and eat your breakfast both of you" Mason just wanted a quiet breakfast, he had tons to do today.

He had marketing and design meetings at one of Damon's companies till afternoon and then he had a full afternoon of clients at his tattoo shop.

"What about Lexi, doesn't she need to go to school" Emilia asked.

The atmosphere changed instantly. Thankfully Alesandro walked in.

He had heard her question and had just finished the call with the school.

"I think we should talk about that" he said.

"Seriously, why do we have to talk about her" Dante complained.

"Probably best to do it whilst Damon is out" Mason commented.

"Enough. Emilia I've spoken to the school and Alexia won't be attending anymore"

"Why not? I know she's done some bad things but she's not completely bad"

"No sweetheart she probably isn't completely bad but she did try to kill you at least twice and that's a very serious thing. From what you said on Saturday it seems she's been abusing you too" Alesandro began to explain.

"But I'm fine now"

"You have a broken arm, you almost died" Dante exclaimed.

"Be quiet Dante" Alesandro scolded then turned back to Emilia. "We can't risk something like this happening again I'm sorry Emilia, I really didn't want things to go this way but it has too. I have been in touch with a psychiatric hospital and they will be having a meeting with her and she will most likely be going there "

"You think she's mentally ill" Emilia stated

"One way of putting it" Dante muttered.

"It's the best thing to do, not just for you but for her she can get the treatment she needs" Alesandro said.

"

"It doesn't matter, what matters is we have a nice breakfast" Alesandro said noticing Emilia was a little fearful of the way he had spoken to Dante, his tone probably didn't help.

"Could have at least changed before coming for breakfast" Mason muttered.

"Mason is right, next time go shower and change, you look like shit" Alesandro commented.

Damon just glared and poured himself some coffee.

Damon looked over and smirked "shouldn't you be off to school"

"I haven't finished my breakfast so no I'm fine right here"

Damon just rolled his eyes.

Emilia was certainly on edge the moment Damon had entered. Dante might not hate her but she was convinced Damon did. Dante had only gone off but she had tried to speak to Damon and he had ignored her. She had looked to him for reassurance and he didn't give any.

She glanced over at his appearance and he looked rough, she couldn't help but wonder if he was angry when he was hungover just like Henry. Henry drunk way to much.

He looked over at her and she quickly looked away, his eyes held nothing, it was like he had switched all emotions off and maybe kept anger and annoyance at times.

"Should she really be going to school" he asked still not taking his eyes off her.

"Yes, there is nothing wrong is there Emilia" Alesandro said.

Emilia shook her head "I'm fine" she whispered.

Mason caught on quickly, she was definitely avoiding Damon. Alesandro already knew this and so he decided to change the subject.

"So anyway have you three got all your school stuff packed"

"Yeah" they all anwsered.

"Great. Nothing I need to sign is there?"

They all said no to this.

After breakfast which was awkwardly silent, Dante was quick to excuse himself and Matteo and Emilia claiming they needed to come now if they wanted to him to drive. He did this to get out of a tense breakfast.

They then left for school.

Once they got to school, like always everyone stared, Emilia ignored it and quickly left to find her friends. She didn't know how she felt about talking in front of everyone yet so Alesandro had told her she doesn't have to until she feels like it. But she wanted to try and speak to her friends.

"Em youre finally here" Sophia said coming up to her.

"How was meeting the family" she asked.

Emilia definitely didn't want to anwser that question.

She still had her notebook so she quickly wrote that it was fine.

No more questions were asked and the girls headed to class.

Class was boring, the teacher mostly just handed out worksheets and told them to do independent work.

The day continued and soon it was her last class before lunch, she had this class with Antonio and they were partners for a project.

Unfortunately Britney was in this class and since Lexi wasn't at scho, Britney made it her goal to annoy Emilia, Emilia just ignored it. She was yet to speak so she didn't want her first words in school to be snapping at Britney.

Eventually Britney got fed up so when the teacher wasn't looking she came up to Emilia saying she needed to ask a question when the teacher looked over, the teacher just nodded and went back to helping a few students with a problem.

"Why are you ignoring me" she asked.

Emilia rolled her eyes and quickly wrote

You're just not worth my time

"Why you little bitch, just because your brother's run the school doesn't mean you can speak to me like that" she snapped.

Sorry I always thought lying was frowned upon but I guess if you would like I can tell you that you're worth my time

Britney went red hearing this, Antonio snickered when he read it.

"Why you little bitch" she snapped and pulled her hair so hard it forced her head backwards.

Antonio had been quiet letting her deal with Britney herself like he knew she could but he wasn't about to let Britney do this whilst he did nothing. He wasn't happy at all, he grabbed Britneys hand and twisted it slightly out of anger but realising he was in class he quickly flung her arm away.

"Like she already told you, you're not worth her time now go back to your table"

"Why are you protecting your little girlfriend, everyone knows what a slut she was at her last school" and with that Britney left.

The bell rung and Emilia grabbed her bag and ran out, she didn't want to be in the class any longer.

"Emilia" Antonio ran after her.

He caught up to her when he saw she'd gone into the library. He quietly entered and saw she was sat between a few shelves, her head buried in her knees which were against her chest.

"Wanna talk about it" he asked sitting next to her.

She shook her head.

"Wanna get revenge" he asked.

She looked at him this time so he took this as a sign to explain "well it's lunch time, all we need to do is embarrass her in front of the whole school" he said.

Emilia got out her notebook

"Well girls like Britney care about two things, how they look and how many boys they can get, so we simply ruin how she looks by walking into her with food, it will ruin her clothes and she will be embarrassed in front of her crush"

"Oh you don't know do you. Everyone knows it's your brother Dante, that's why she befriended Lexi, Dante is pretty much the most popular person at school and so she wants him"

Emilia grinned and quickly wrote

What if I spill food on her and you spill water on her hair. Dante will come ask if I'm alright no doubt and wi definitely ignore Britney

"That's brilliant" he told her.

Sit for a little longer with me though?

Antonio nodded and they say quietly, soon Emilia rested her head against his chest.

"Thank you Antonio" she whispered.

Antonio was shocked. "You speak"

"Yeah alot happened over the weekend but please don't tell anyone just yet I'm working my way to speaking to everyone" she said.

"Of course I won't tell and can I just say what Britney said in the classroom, she's just deflecting, don't pay her any attention okay"

"Okay"

"How about we get started on that prank"

Emilia nodded.
