3rd Pov.

Lee: So, What did you want to talk about?

Lee asked Carley as she had pulled him away from the kids, who he noticed smirked at them both.

Carley: Well okay...

She takes a deep breath and looks at Lee.

Carley: Ever since I've known you, you've always been there for everyone and you've always tried your best to protect us as well. You've always given everyone the benefit of the doubt and always try to see reason with people, you're good man. Hell, you even started looking after kids you didn't even know and your like their dad. They look at you with such caring eyes and you always do the same, I know you love them both and would do anything in your power to protect them, which is another I-I...

Lee: You what?

Carley: I love you! I mean ever since we met I knew you were a good man, despite your past, I mean even after you told everyone what happened no one was scared of you, even the kids looked at you with same loving eyes they always do and that's because they and everyone else know you're a good man. But I-I understand if you don't like me ba-

She was cut off because Lee gave ever a gentle passionate kiss which she of course reciprocated and it lasted for what felt like hours but in reality what only about a minute until they pull back.

Lee: I love you too.

Then they shared another kiss, though it was short it was still passionate.

And they stood with each other for a bit, Lee's arm around Carley's waist watching as the scenery past by.

Y/N Pov.

Clem and I watch the whole thing from afar and we were both happy that Lee had someone for him other than us. I mean sure he loves us like his own kids and we love him like family but now he has a girlfriend someone who can give him a different type of love, someone better than that lousy ex-wife of his. What a bitch.

Then after we watched we decided to leave them alone to themselves for a bit and just talk. Clem leaned her head on my shoulder which always seemed to help calm me down, no matter what, then she started to talk.

Clem: Hey Y/n?

Y/n: Yeah?

Clem: I'm happy for Lee and Carley.

Y/n: Me too, I know he loves us like we're his own kids, just as we love him like family but he needs someone who can give him a different type of love.

Clem: A different love type of love?

Y/n: Yeah, want me to explain?

Clem: Yep, cause I'm kinda lost.

She said that while chuckling, which made me see even more how adorable she is.

Y/n: Well, My dad said that there are two types of Love a person can feel.

Clem: Hmm? I thought there was just the normal stuff like how I love Mom and Dad.

Y/n: Well the first is family love, it's the love you would feel for a Mother, Brother, Dad, or Sister. Sometimes friend if you feel close enough to call them family.

Clem: Oh..What's the other one?

Y/n: The other one is Romantic Love, like how a dad and a mom feel for each other. Or how Carley and Lee feel for one another.

Clem started to blush because she started to think about it more.

Clem: L-Like kissing and stuff?

Y/n: Yep, well that's what my dad said and I agree with him.

She blushed even more thinking about it.

Clem: Wow, your dad was smart.

I just nodded and started to chuckle.

As we were talking Lee came in with Carley and Chuck also entered.

Clem: I'm worried...

Y/n: About Duck?

Clem: Yeah...

She said as she gripped onto me tighter.

Y/n: It'll be fine, okay?

Clem still looked unsure, so I wrapped my arm around her and she released a bit.

Clem: Okay!

3rd Pov.

Ducks condition seemed to grow worse, he was paler and letting out coughs now and then, almost knocking on death's door. As his condition grew worse, it was starting to show that he was in all uses of the word "Fucked" with a capital "F".

Chuck: Got to be hard on ya, eh? Three adults taking care of 4 kids; no disrespect, son. (Ben frowns)

Lee: It is.

Chuck: Your kids over there are something else, especially that little boy.

Lee: They're survivors, have been since day one.

Chuck: They take after their dad then.

Lee: Did Y/n tell you what happened on the first day.

Chuck: Nope, does he mind you telling me?

Lee goes over to Y/n to asks and gets an "All clear" from him.

Lee: So basically when everything went down his dad went to go outside to see what was happening only to get bit in the process, and after saying their last goodbyes, his father asked him to shoot him so he didn't turn into one of "them" and he did. Right after that he found Clem a little while after and they've been together ever since, that's why he and her are so close and why he's super protective of her. He told me he made a promise to his dad to survive and so he shall.

Chuck: Poor kid, but in the end he's still alive so he's kept his promise, right?

Before Lee could answer he was called by Katjaa because Duck coughed up blood.

Kat: LEE! Lee. I need you. Right now. I need you to go get Ken.

Lee: What's?...

Kat: Would you get that off his face? My hands are full here.

Lee picks up the rag.

Kat: Thank you. Could you just get that off his face, please?

Lee nods and wipes off duck's face.

Kat: He's out of time. We need to stop this train.

Lee: Okay...

Kat: Please...

Lee felt saddened by this and goes to get Kenny.

Y/N Pov.

I overheard everything and although I knew Duck was bound for death it didn't make it any easier when it came.

Y/n: I'm going to go talk to Kat for a bit, okay?

Clem nods, I think she to heard what was going down.

I walked over to her and sat down.

Y/n: Hey Katjaa, how's...

I looked at Duck and she apparently saw..

Kat: I'm not going to sugar-coat it, he's out of time.

Y/n: I'm sorry to hear that, Duck didn't deserve what happened, he's been a great friend.

Kat: Thank you Y/n...You know it's funny, he use to look up to you despite you being about a year younger. He thought you were so cool.

Her voice started to break, so I gave her hug to help ease her a bit...

She wiped her tears.

Kat: Thank you, you've always been such a kind boy.

Y/n: No problem, plus my mom always use to tell me to treat people how I wanted to be treated.

Y/n: I'm sorry, maybe...maybe if I was faster I-I could've stopped this...

I was about to say more as my voice started to break but she covered my mouth gently.

Kat: Now hush with that, it's not your fault or anyone's on this train's fault, it just happened because we were attacked and we weren't lucky enough to get out unscathed.

I started to tremble until she wrapped me in a side-hug and then let go.

Kat: It's not your fault, promise me you won't think it was.

Y/n: Kat I..

Kat: Promise me.

Y/n: Okay, I promise...

I walked over to Clem and sat down.

Clem: Hey, what did you talk about?

I put a smile on my face.

Y/n: Nothing Clementine, just comforting Kat.

She still seemed worried but decided to not speak on it yet and just pulled me into a hug. I reciprocated. I then got up and headed for the door to go and find Lee and Kenny.

Lee Pov.

I walked over to Kenny, who was sitting in the Train conductor's seat.

Me: Kenny.

Kenny: What?

Me: KEN! (Shows rag)

Kenny: What the hell's that?

Me: Your Son's Blood.

Kenny: Get outta here, Lee.

Me: You know he's dying.

Kenny: Nobody knows shit! He'll be fine!

Me: He won't be. He's going, Kenny.

Kenny: What is the goddamn deal? He's a little sick, but we can't just quit. It's a scratch! He's not like the others. Jesus, all y'all are just makin' it worse.

Me: Stop the train. STOP IT, GODDAMNIT!

Kenny: Fuck you, Lee.

Me: You're gonna Listen.

Kenny: Or what?

Me: You're acting like nothing's wrong and somebody's gotta knock some sense into you.

I shove Kenny backward. Kenny tries to punch him.

I duck and hold Kenny against the wall and I put my arm against his throat, choking him.

Me: I've had your back! Don't make me fucking regret it!

Kenny tries to punch me again and I blocked him.

Me: You want to hurt people because you're afraid?! Losin' Duck ain't enough for you?! Because you'll fucking LOSE EVERYTHING actin' like this! I'll fucking kill you before I let that happen!

I let go of Kenny and he falls to the floor, breathing heavily and grabbing his neck.

Me: I'm sorry.

Y/N Pov. (During fight)

I walked up and was about to pass Ben and he sees me, he then started to talk.

Ben: It was me.

Y/n: What was?

He then goes onto explain the whole situation and I was furious, I gripping my hands hard enough to where my knuckles started to pop.

Y/n: So you're telling me, everything that happened was because of you? The reason a friend of mine is going to die and why his parents who I consider family, are in pain?

He was starting to back up towards the rail, he was...scared.

Ben: Look, I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean for...

-After Fight-

Before he could talk more and before I could do anything, Lee walks out of the Booth where Kenny was and he looked sad, which is understandable.

He then Noticed me.

Lee Pov.

As I walked out I saw Y/n standing in front of Ben, his hands were balled into fists, and he looked about ready to kill him.

3rd Pov.

Lee walks over to them, both Y/n and Ben turn to him.

Lee: Whoa, Whoa, Y/n what's going on?

Ben was about to walk away until Y/n stepped in front of him.

Y/n: Tell Lee...

Lee: Tell me what?

Ben looked nervous and Scared.

Lee heard Y/n threaten Ben, which something Lee didn't expect.

Y/n: Tell Lee or I will personally beat the words out of you and leave you for the walkers.

Ben was terrified but both him and Lee could tell by the look of anger on his face, he wasn't joking around. Lee knew it had to be something big for Y/n to threaten someone apart of the group.

Ben then tells Lee the exact same thing he had told Y/n and Lee was just in shock.

Lee: Jesus, Ben...

Ben: I know. They said they had my friend, that he was with them.

Lee: Just...stop. Fuck. Can we even trust you?

Ben: Yes

Lee: Why'd you have to go and tell us that?

Ben: I just-

Lee: No. Just don't tell anybody. You can't take any of it back, so don't.

Ben: Okay

Y/n: I could Kill you for what you've done.

Ben looked even more frightened and Lee placed his hand on Y/n's shoulder.

Lee: Ben, go before he pounces on you.

Ben automatically leaves.

Y/n: I should Kill him for what he's done.

Lee: No, you shouldn't.

Y/n: But Lee! He's the reason Duck's dying, the reason Kat and Kenny are in pain!

Lee: I know how you feel and I understand you're upset, I am too, but killing is always a last resort no matter what.

Y/n: I know, it's just...

Y/n starts to shake, so Lee hugs him.

Lee: It's okay, it'll be okay.

Y/n: Duck is like a brother to me, I consider him, Kenny, Kat, Carley, especially You and Clem, family.

Y/n: I just want to make him hurt like they are.

Lee: Look bud, I know it hurts to lose a friend, someone you call a brother but do you think he'd want you to make others feel the same pain he is?

Y/n: No...

Lee: Exactly, I know you're upset and I am too but don't let the rage control you, just keep being the same kind, loving, little boy you always are. The same kind that everyone likes.

Y/n was still angry at Ben, but after what Lee said he knew that Lee was right about not letting his anger control his actions, so he let himself simmer down. He was still angry with Ben but he thought that it was no reason kill him.

Y/n: You're right Lee, I'm going to sit with Clem.

Lee: Alright.

Lee and him hug one more time before Y/n goes to sit with Clem and the train stops.

Lee: Here we go...
