《LA YOUTUBER IMAGINES》JAKE - NAIL POLISH

Jake stared at me. "Seriously?" He questioned.
"Okay, black it is," I chuckled.
We were sitting on the bathroom floor of my apartment. Jake was leaning against the tub with his legs stretched out on either side of me. I sat with my legs folded and grabbed the black nail polish from under the sink.
"What's the clear one for?" Jake questioned, sticking out his hand to me.
I opened up the clear coat. "I put this on after the black so it lasts longer," I explained. Jake nodded and observed my movements closely. I held his hand in mine and began painting on the first coat. Jake kept his eyes on my face as my focus was on his nails.
"Why are you staring at me?" I asked with a grin, not moving my gaze.
"Because you're beautiful."
I looked up at him and placed a soft kiss on his lips. "Once that dries, I'll do the top coat," I stated with a smile.
I started on the clear coat while Jake put his head back onto the side of the tub and rolled the black polish around in his fingers, his rings clicking the glass with each movement.
"I'm all done, but it's not dry yet, so don't do anything with your hands for a while," I told him, standing from the floor and putting the little jars away.
"Sucks for you, then," Jake smirked. He wrapped his arms around my waist from behind, careful not to smudge his nails, and looked at me in the mirror. He placed a sweet kiss onto my cheek. "I'm so so in love with you," he chuckled shortly.
A grin took over my face and I turned around in his arms. I put my hands on his cheeks and pressed our lips together.

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by.These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
