Beatrix, you prefer that I divorce you instead of accepting me as your husband... You prefer to break all ties with me than to bear me a child... Why can't you love me? Why won't you accept me?

He calmed his stormy emotions and coaxed his wife again like usual.

"Beatrix, you know how much I love you! You are my only wife! My only woman in this lifetime and the next! I will never love or accept another woman!!!" He sincerely said and held her hands while looking straight into her eyes...

I heard that before but you did not keep your promise! I will never allow myself to be fooled again... I will never allow myself to love you again... I will never allow myself to be hurt again... One lifetime is enough!!!

Beatrix thought at that time so she ignored his words and chose not to take those words to her heart.

"Your Highness Crown Prince Andrew, you know how I feel about you and this marriage..." She answered and steeled her heart. "Your Highness, please release this humble servant!"

He stared at her for a long time...

"You better sleep now, Crown Princess Beatrix!" He said then he left.

Beatrix stared at the door where he exited for a long time, unaware of her tears flowing like a river...

I do not want him to go but could I make him stay faithful to me? I want him only to myself but just like my previous life, he will just bring in concubines in the future... Better let go now and face the inevitable... I do not want to experience the same lifeless and miserable situation!

She really cannot afford the same heartache and heartbreak! She will become insane!!!

Crown Prince Andrew left but cannot go far away from her. She always gave him heartache and heartbreak every time she asked for a divorce, every time she ignored him, and look at him coldly and indifferently... He wants her love so bad! Even her simple acceptance is enough but she is not willing to give both! He can endure everything! He will endure anything except their separation!!!

Beatrix, you can ignore me, hate me, and kill me but I will never let you go! Never! Not ever! I am sorry but you do not have a choice... I will always be your husband and you will always be my wife in this life and the next!!!

When she is peacefully sleeping, he came back to her bedroom and stared at her for a long time, silently studying her features... Later, he will slowly join her on the same bed, very careful not to disturb her peaceful sleep then hug her.

Beatrix, can't you give me at least one child? I want us to have several children... Even one child will do! I said that I want it because they are pressuring me but the truth is... I want the child to serve as our intimate connection forever...

He slept peacefully beside her. He will just have to wake up earlier than her to prevent himself from being beaten to a pulp by her! Their nights are usually like this. He will slowly join her in bed once she is peacefully sleeping and wake up before she wakes up.

Beatrix was very surprised when she heard Prince Anders calling her. She turned in the direction of his voice and almost died from laughing so hard when she saw him trying to get down from climbing on the wall. He stood in front of her and smiled happily after he successfully climbed and got down from the wall.

"Whew! That was so hard! Imperial Brother is too much! He built a wall so high, I do not know anymore if this is still a mansion or a fortress!" He grinned mischievously as he looked at her and continued. "My Imperial Brother is beginning to look overly suspicious, cautious, and paranoid! His guards are all over the place! You do not know how hard it is for me to be here." He explained and pouted cutely!

Beatrix laughed heartily forgetting her problems.

Awww... Anders is so cute and charming!!!

She thought as she saw his reaction.

"Why did you climb up that wall in the first place instead of properly using the front gate? You look like a thief instead of an honored prince." She grinned happily.

"Did you think that I did not try? It is my Imperial Brother's fault! He did not allow me to visit you, not only once but more than three hundred times! He had so many excuses so I took matters into my own hands!!!" He playfully grinned back.

"Really?! I did not know that you wanted to visit me. I thought you just want to build a harmonious relationship with your wife and children that is why you did not have time left to visit me." She replied then smiled wider. She missed him so much especially their happy times together... He is really fun to be with!

"What harmonious relationship! Beatrix, you do not know how hard it is for me all these years... That is why I want to see you and talk to you! You are the only person who could understand me but that Imperial Brother of mine is so stingy! He always refused my requests to visit! It is as if he is the one I want to see and talk to!" He complained even more.

"What do you want to talk about?" She asked him, trying to get to the bottom of his sudden visit.
