The Emperor and Empress grew alarmed as they saw their remaining son slowly dying... They already lost one son, two daughters-in-law, and four grandsons... Now, another son is dying due to severe grief! They tried to talk to him but he remained unresponsive. They took little Prince Antoine into their care since the father seems very unfit to care for the baby...

They are beginning to lose hope until one day, a miracle happened! Crown Prince Andrew, in his regal bearing, showed up in front of the Emperor, Empress, and all the officials. He declared that he is back and he wants to get little Prince Antoine so that his family will be whole again.

In their eyes, he seems like he successfully moved on from his extreme grief and now he is back to normal. He begins to attend court meetings regularly with renewed vigor and happiness so the Emperor and Empress allowed him to take little Prince Antoine again.

Everyone assumed that Crown Prince Andrew is completely fine and he successfully moved on from his loss since he acts very normal and provides intelligent decisions and solutions for court, political, and military problems but after he ascended the throne, everyone finally realized that they are wrong...

The new Emperor Andrew is forcing them to pay respect to Empress Beatrix!

It is normal to respect the dead wife of the current Emperor but what is not normal is the Emperor is saying that his beloved wife, his Empress Beatrix is beside him on the throne so they also need to greet and pay respect to her!!!

Huh?!! But there is no one else on the throne except the Emperor...

Everyone was very stunned! They knew that their new Emperor's wife has been dead for a long time so it should be normal that they cannot see her... But the new Emperor seems very mad now and reminded them that they also need to greet his Empress Beatrix or else he will punish them for disrespecting their new Empress!!!

How are they going to greet an invisible being?!!

When Emperor Andrew noticed that they are not greeting his Empress Beatrix, he ordered severe punishment so everyone was forced to kneel, greet, and declare their respect to the invisible Empress Beatrix!

This becomes the new practice in the whole Sky Empire! Emperor Andrew would punish anyone who ignores and disrespects his invisible Empress Beatrix! He beheaded everyone who said that there is no Empress but he is pleased with anyone who acknowledges her presence although they cannot see her...

Soon, everyone got used to it. They mastered the art of pretending to please their very capable yet extremely weird Emperor... To them, it is always better to look like a living fool than to be a dead fool!

Even Prince Antoine was raised to acknowledge the presence of his Imperial Mother whom he could not see! When Prince Antoine made the mistake of pointing out that he could not see his Mother Empress, his Father Emperor slapped him so hard he almost thought his head detached from his neck! Next, his Father Emperor accused him of being an unfilial son and punished him to kneel outside the Empress courtyard for seven days! It is really weird but after he knew of the whole story, he felt so guilty and learned to act like others and please his Father Emperor...

Emperor Andrew is a great emperor. He made a lot of sound decisions, great solutions to several problems, and excellent development to the whole Sky Empire during his reign. Overall, he is a very intelligent, talented, and capable ruler but he became known as the Emperor who sees, talks, and remains faithful to his invisible Empress Beatrix until the day he died and passed the throne to Crown Prince Antoine, whom he trained and raised to be the next great Emperor.

Before Emperor Andrew died, he told his son:

"Son, I will retire now... Your Imperial Mother wants to go on a vacation and I want to go with her..." Emperor Andrew weakly said to Crown Prince Antoine.

"Yes, Imperial Father! I always know that you want to be with her... Do not worry anymore, I will apply all the things that you taught me and take good care of the empire when you are gone. Be happy and go with her! Do not let her wait any longer..." Crown Prince Antoine said and silently wept when he saw that his Imperial Father left him and Sky Empire to be with his Imperial Mother always!
