Emperor Andrew signaled and one of the shadow guards appeared with a vial. He gave it to his master and Emperor Andrew received it.

"Imperial Brother, drink this and end your suffering! Worry not, I promise to love her with all of my mind, heart, body, and soul! I will take good care of her... Now, die! Return her to whom she originally belongs! Be good and fulfill the prophecy!" Emperor Andrew forcefully made his dying and weak brother drink the strange red liquid.

Prince Anders convulsed violently after he was forced to drink the liquid. All of his skin wound closed! All the scratches, bruises, and scars disappeared! His skin returned to its original flawless and unblemished appearance but his internal organs are still wounded and damaged inside...

Beatrix, I love you so much... I want to see you again... I want to be with you again... I will never let go!!!

Prince Anders left a very serious, dark, and deadly vow in his mind! It carved in his heart! It was embedded in his soul that even death could never interfere and stop him! Soon, he slowly closed his eyes as he finally drew his last excruciating breath!

"Dispose of the dead bodies, make sure that none of what truly happened leaks, and send a message to the capital that Prince Anders and his army succumbed to a mysterious disease and died while he is on the way to the capital!" Emperor Andrew commanded his remaining shadow guards and army after he is certain that his Imperial Brother is finally gone! He did all the necessary arrangements and swiftly went back to the capital before anyone discovers his absence.

For another five days, Emperor Andrew traveled day and night. He was able to successfully go back to the capital and then inside the imperial palace without exposing himself. He secretly went inside Beatrix's bedroom and watched her peaceful sleeping form... He missed her so much! He wants to see her every day like his whole life and existence are entirely up to her!

My Imperial Brother is gone... Soon, Beatrix will enter my harem...

He lovingly caressed her cheek and sighed as he cannot stay longer! He does not want to ruin her reputation by being impatient so he hurriedly left before he could do something very inappropriate!

Beatrix woke up the next day feeling happy and refreshed! Her husband will be back soon! She received several greetings and congratulatory remarks these days. She was also very busy preparing all the details of his welcome ceremony and victory celebration. It made her forget that several days ago, her mood went from extreme worry to extreme foul!

She asked his trusted physician and the latter told her that Emperor Andrew got overworked and is not feeling well so he needs to rest. She wants to visit him and check him personally but visiting his bedroom is very inappropriate so she cooked a nourishing soup and took it to his courtyard. She planned to entrust it to his trusted people since she cannot personally enter his bedroom and feed him. She will have to trust other people to do it... But when she entered his courtyard, she heard several naughty words and flirty giggles from several women!

Got overworked, huh?!! Now, I see why!!!

Her sight darkened and her blood immediately boiled and spilled over! She suddenly turned around and left! Her servant, who is carrying the nourishing soup, felt very confused and followed her still carrying the soup...

When they are already far from his courtyard, Beatrix saw two patrolling guards. They politely greeted her so she decided to give them the soup! After that, she walked away and never looked back! Starting that day, she did not bother anymore!

After that day, he still did not visit her so she thought he is really busy playing with those women and will probably start ignoring her forever but two weeks later...

She angrily complained in her mind but the other person smiled at her widely, inviting her to eat together... She could not refuse anymore because he brought several tasty dishes and those are already placed on her table inside her courtyard.

After that day, Emperor Andrew went back to his normal routine...
