I drove to Silas territory in silence. I ran out of pills which kept me mellowed out and I have less on my mind.
"Thing 2..." I said to one of the corner boys.
"Yeah?"
"I ran out."
"Kleo I gave you fucking 10 last week! Silas gone kill me." He fussed.
"Silas don't care about me."
"Are you stupid? Must be. Here bruh." He said giving me about 20.
"Thanks boo!" I smiled giving him $50. I sped off before he could protest.
I drove off to the nail shop Ryan wanted me to meet her at. It was a gloomy ass day. I took a pill and washing it down with water before hopping out my truck.
"Hey sissy!" Ryan popped up smiling hugging the life out of me.
"Hey."
"Why you look so dead?"
I just looked at her through my sunglasses.
"Let's go in." I mumbled.
We went in getting seated immediately.
"What color you getting?" Ryan asked me.
"None. I'm just here to make you happy."
She looked at me with disappointment.
"Let me just surprise you today... Deal?"
"Ryan... Deal." I sat in the chair listening to her talk about whatever while feeling the pill hit. I had no worries.
We finished in 2 hours. I had short white nails and white toes for the hoes.
"Where to next?" I asked.
"Razz doing your hair." She said eyeing me.
"Okay." I said getting in my truck trailing behind her to Razz's house. We pulled up getting out.
"You'll braid my hair while you getting your hair done." She cheesed walking in.
"Bitchhhh you thought you was slick." I mumbled walking to the kitchen. Something smelled marvelous.

Lasagna, fried chicken, greens, and dinner rolls with a red cake.
"Bitch get out my kitchen!" Razz fussed.
"It smell so good ho!" I said back.
"Y'all can eat after I do your hair."
I nodded. We shampooed and blow dried our hair. I was sitting down in a chair while Ryan sat between my legs. Let's see who finishes first.
"When you leaving again?" She asked Razz.
"Chileeee next week. Clearly I'm needed for a magazine shoot." He said braiding my hair tight.
"Loosen the fuck up damn bitch." I hissed mugging him.
"I could say the same the fuck." Ryan added.
"My bad sissy." I smiled.
I played my music on his speaker getting into the zone. I didn't even know what he was doing to my hair. I was just focusing on Ryan's braids.
Jungle by H.E.R came on.
"These days, I'm letting God handle all things above me
The things I can't change are the reasons you love me
Listen, you can hear them calling my name
I'm all over the place, I can't sit in one place
I'm not ashamed at all
Still findin' myself, let alone a soulmate, I'm just sayin'
Feel like we one in the same, our relationship changed
That or it never existed
Whenever they say somethin' bout us you listen
But fuck what they talkin' about on your timeline
That's cuttin' all into my time with you
Forget what they talkin' about on your timeline, yeah
Cause that's cuttin' all into my time with you
My time with you, my
Rock me real slowly
Put a bib on me
I'm just like a baby, drooling over you
The things you do
He said you're my everything
I love you through everything, I done did everything to him

He forgave me for everything, this a forever thing
Hate that I treat it like it's a whatever thing
Trust me, boy, this shit is everything to me
He from the jungle, he from the jungle
I take somebody else's car, drive there undercover
This shit is everything to me, this here is everything
Don't know where we stand, I used to hit you 'bout everything
Are we still good? Are we still good?
Are we still good? Are we still good?
If I need to talk are you around?
Are you down for the cause?
Are you down? Are you down? Are you down?
Are you down for the cause?
Are you down? Are you down? Are you down?
Are you down for the cause?
You still down? You still down? You still down?" I sung along to myself. Lately every song been making me think of Silas.
He said you're my everything. I love you through everything, I done did everything to him. He forgave me for everything, this a forever thing. Hate that I treat it like it's a whatever thing. Trust me, boy, this shit is everything to me. Literally. No lies detected. Silas is my best friend. Always have been. I did everything to him that month he stayed. It was worse than kidnapping him. It was worse than locking him in a basement.
"Good morning my beautiful wife. I'm going to go shower then freshen up. Afterwards I'll make you breakfast." He smiled looking at me.
I mugged him. "I made you breakfast already, eat."
"Okay crazy ass girl." He chuckled. He took a few bites before he started coughing.
I smiled getting up.
"You know it's unfair my child dead, but you got another one somewhere out there." I said grabbing a knife I hid. I snatched the covers off of him.
He coughed looking at me with wide eyes.
"It's crazy Silas! I always get the short end!" I screamed stabbing him in the thigh.
"Shooting you wasn't enough. At the time it was, but you don't feel my pain. I lost my son." I mumbled looking down dragging the knife close to his private area.
"You don't deserve to have anymore kids. You need to die." I held the knife up and before I could stab him I heard Razz calling my name.
"Bitch are you dumb!" He yelled. He grabbed Silas rushing him to the hospital. I guess that was his last straw. That made him leave.
"Kleo!" Razz yelled at me.
"Kleo!"
"Kleo!"
"KLEO!" I snapped back into reality looking up at Razz.
"Huh?"
"I'm done." He said.
I looked at the time noticing an hour passed by. Ryan was done and bringing us plates.
I hate when I reminisce I be zoned in on that memory blocking everything around me. I looked in the mirror smiling. Orange and curly.
"I love it. Thanks boo." I hugged him.
"No problem." He responded.
We watched Real Housewives and ate while drinking wine.
