Tuesday
"Maj... can I ask you something?" Liberty asked softly, tracing her short yellow color acrylic nail over the tattoo on his arm while they laid in her queen-size bed after having after-school sex.
"Hm?" He hummed with his eyes closed, trying to take a nap before he had to get up so they could do their homework.
More so Semaj help her with her research paper since she asked.
"The brown-skin girl you be wit', not your cousin but the one that sells plates at lunch. What is she to you?" She asked hesitantly, listening to his chest raise up and down. Semaj popped his eyes open at the mention of Sarai.
"What?" He questioned, started to sit up and she sat up with him.
"What is she to you? I kno' Rell and JB call her sis and stuff but I never hear you say the same" She tilted her head to the side, letting her red butterfly locs fall off her shoulder as she held the comforter up against her naked body.
"She is my best friend" He kept it simple, leaning down on the side of the bed to get his boxers. He could feel where this conversation might go and he already wasn't here for it.
"Bestfriend? You sure?" She asked, watching him closely put his boxers on before standing up off of the bed. He chuckled, picking up his Tupac graphic tee off of the grey carpet floor.
"Why are you worried about her? Actin' like you got some undercover pressure on yo' chest about ha' or something" He shook his head, pulling his shirt over his head.
Liberty jerked her head back and started to get up "What? All I did was ask a question, Semaj. You're the one gettin' all defensive over a small question" She scoffed, walking over to her closet naked.
"You didn't. You asked me who she is ta' me and I told you. You should've left it at that but you over hea' thinkin' you can question me about if I think she is my best friend or not? Fuck outta here" He shook his head, grabbing his light color blue fitted jeans off the floor.
"I was just asking because Asia said she might like y— Shut up Liberty. Deadass bro" He cut her off, looking at her like she was stupid. The whole reason they were back cool was because they talked about her always bringing her friends into their business or her always listening to her friends about things.
He felt like he was talking to a brick wall now. She never spoke about what she thought and want. Always about what her friends say and want.
"It must be true then because why are you getting so defensive?" She rolled her eyes, putting on her black house robe.
"Cus fa' one, why y'all speakin' on her and worried about her when she ain' doin' the same ta' yall. Two, that's yo' problem Liberty. You act like you ain' got a mind of yo' own" He spoke very annoyed now.
She never questioned Sarai before now because her friends got something to say, she wants to question her. They literally talked about her stopping putting her little friends in their business a week ago.
"Semaj chill please" She grabbed his arm for him to stop grabbing his clothes to leave. He clenched his jaw, looking off to the side as she wrapped her arms around his waist.
"You kno' how I feel about you. When Asia said she likes you, I jus' had to see for myself. Your gettin' mad when I just asked a question" She said softly, putting her chin on his chest. "You talk about me but you quickly get mad about everything" She expressed making him look down at her hazel eyes.
"Yes she is jus' my best friend since we were 5" He kept it simple. He did have a bad temper, he could admit that. He just hated being questioned by people who shouldn't question him.
He really didn't like when a female questioned him about Sarai either. He knew how shady they were towards her and how some might actually ask for him to cut her off. Which he would never do.
"You think she likes you?"
He blankly looked at her before scrunched his face up "No" He responded. She nodded and then leaned up to kiss his lips but he turned his head, making her kiss his cheek.
Liberty frowned "Maj, stop" She tried to kiss him again but he pushed her away from him. "I can't keep actin' like I want more than sex wit' you Liberty," He said bluntly.
Her eyes widened in shock from his words. "That's all you see me as?! Really Maj?! As sum' pussy?" She jerked her head back, looking at him in pure disgust.
He shrugged, going to his nightstand to get his phone "You knew what it was when we started. I can't act like I want you when I don't. You cool and all but you aren't someone I want" He said truthfully, glancing down at his phone and seeing Carmen texted him.
He looked up when he heard sniffling "Get the fuck out! Don't call or fuckin' text me no more! Don't even look at me when we're at school you dumb ass bitch!" She screamed and started picking up bath & body work perfume bottles, throwing them at him.
"I fuckin' hate you! You jus' played with me! For what?!" She continued to yell while he dodged all the things she was throwing at him. He wasn't even going to be mad, he knew his words probably were fucked up.
Even though he had disclosed with her multiple times how he didn't want anything serious. It took him being fully blunt.
He was being honest to her for the first time with just wanting pussy from her. He always told everyone else how he felt about her but never her. He could see why she was upset.
He was just a fucked up person who couldn't do right by anybody.
"You're such a bitch ass nigga! You deserve to die alone and wit' nobody by yourself! You deserve every person to abandon yo' bitch ass! I hope you get nothin' but used and I hope the people you care about the most leave yo' trifling fuckin' dumb ass" She continued to yell at him while following him down the stairs to the front door.
Not knowing how deep her words cut him but he felt like he deserved it. It was true, everyone he ever cared for always left, and now he can't commit because he's too scared to.
He's been left in the dust too many times to commit.

"Wassup pops" Semaj greeted when he walked into the living room after just getting home. Terrence looked up from his Ipad as he was scrolling on Facebook and furrowed his eyebrows.
"Whea' you been? I thought you were upstairs" Terrence questioned with a confused look on his face. Semaj chuckled and shook his head, flopping down on the small couch beside the recliner.
"Pops, do you even care about me? You neva' kno' if I'm here or not '' He raised his eyebrow. Terrence sucked his teeth "You got dat car and barely home. I can't keep up nomo, I'm too old" He waved him off with a small smirk.
"What's wrong wit' you doe? Lookin' like a sad puppy" Terrence teased, cutting his Ipad off to put his focus on him.
"Um— Nothin' I'm straight"
"We lyin' ta' each other now?" Terrence raised his eyebrow. Semaj sighed lowly, slouching more into his spot. "No" He mumbled. He sometimes couldn't stand how he and his father had a no lying and no judgment type of relationship. He couldn't lie about anything or mask his feelings from his father without him reading him like a book.
Mainly because they were the same when it came to how they felt. Semaj was never vulnerable with nobody besides his dad. Expressing his feelings and talking about his feelings with others never felt right.
Terrence raised him with the mindset of being comfortable with expressing himself. No matter if it was bad or might hurt. He gave him that ability to cry on his shoulder and never judge him. He never wanted to drill in his head that a man can't cry because they can.
As long as he didn't hide what he was feeling or kept it bundled up inside. Terrence built their relationship on never having secrets. That went for him too, no matter what he was always honest with Semaj.
"What's wrong wit' me? Why does everyone always find a reason ta' leave' especially when I didn't do anything? Am I not worth stayin'?" He expressed, feeling like complete shit.
"This is about Kelsey?" Terrence asked, looking into his son's hurt eyes.
"Not jus' her. The girlfriends you had would come in and leave too. Why? Am I not worth someone stayin'? Cause I'on feel like it" He sighed.
"Pops I can't commit fa' shit. I deadass hate most females and try to hurt them cause I'm hurt. I don't want to but I feel like I have to before they can leave me"
Terrence shook his head "Maj, none of them leavin' was yo' fault. Yo' momma, that was on her. Not you. You ain' do nothin' to nobody" He stated, Semaj just shook his head, not believing any of it.
"Those past relationships I had, they didn't leave because of you. It was me and them. Those people jus' weren't the people fa' me, but best believe it ain' have nothing to do with you." He said. "You gotta stop takin' the blame fa' what grown folks do. You can't make anybody stay if they don't want to stay," He continued.
"Can't let that hurt define who you are either. I ain' raise you to treat women like shit. You hurt, I understand but you can't hurt others especially when they didn't cause it"
Semaj nodded slowly while listening. He couldn't help but think everyone left because of him. Because of who he was as Semaj. He always believed something was wrong with him because of it.
That fear of everyone leaving made him even more scared to commit. Once he commits to someone, he is giving them complete access to him.
"You-you think Ima grow up alone?" He mumbled.
Terrence chuckled "Who? Semaj? Hell nah. You gonna find yo' person, y'all gon' get married and have gremlins running all around this house,"
Semaj started laughing, feeling a little better "Person? I'm too scared ta' commit pops" He admitted.
Terrence nodded understanding "I used ta' say the same thing until I met Gina" He spoke with a small smile growing on his face, referring to his girlfriend of a year. Semaj smiled a little seeing how happy his dad was, Gina made him so happy.
Semaj just kept his distance from her. She was actually really cool and sweet. He just didn't want to get attached and she left like every other ex-girlfriend of Terrence.
"Everyone has a person Maj. You may think you can't commit but when you meet yo' person, you aren't gonna wanna do anything but do right by her. You never kno', you may have met her already. You might jus' kno' her and never thought about it.," Terrance shrugged, starting to get up from the recliner when the doorbell ring.
Semaj was about to say something until his phone vibrated in his pocket. Going into his front pocket, he saw it was Sarai and immediately clicked on it, thinking it was important.
✨

Next time I will. I was already mad my hair came late remember?
It moved like Edna bob? 😂
LMAOOOOO! Yes!
omg, lemme send you the video!
Semaj started cracking up laughing when she actually sent the video. He couldn't even focus on how she was moving her neck to move her bob. He was too focused on her pretty face.
Terrance came back into the living room with a large pizza from pizza hut. He looked at his son being visibly stuck watching the video and looking back at the picture of Sarai, over and over.
Terrence chuckled "She's right in front of you, under yo' nose and you don't see it." He said, sitting back in his recliner.
Semaj snap out of his daze when he heard him talking "Whatchu' say?" He asked. not hearing what he said.
Terrance shook his head, pulling out a pepperoni piece of pizza out of the box before giving him the box. "We needa take you ta' the eye doctor." He started taking a bite of pizza and looked ahead at the tv.
Only leaving Semaj confused.

"You must be tryna bump coochies?" Carmen smirked at Maddison who was just laughing at her as they all sat in the booth of Suga Sweets.
Sarai was finally introducing the two since Maddison didn't have dance practice today. Maddison also didn't have any other friends since she didn't get along with a lot of the girls on the dance team.
She and Sarai have been getting closer after they exchanged numbers. Sarai liked for her friends to be in the same circle so she invited Carmen to come.
It was surprisingly going way better than Sarai would have thought. She knew how selfish Carmen was over her, she was surprised she was making conversation with Maddison. They had all been laughing since they sat down and even planned more hangouts.
"I meannn, jus' say the word and I'll break up wit' my boyfriend right now," Maddison joked with a smirk.
Sarai chuckled at them and shook her head "Y'all so nastyy" She playfully rolled her eyes. "You're such a hoe, best. You said you were gonna bump coochies with me" Sarai fake frowned, putting her hand on her chest acting like she was hurt.
Carmen waved her off "All three of us can bump coochies. One way or the other" She shrugged, drinking her hot chocolate.
They all laughed at her "Wait so are you gay?" Maddison wondered, sticking her fork into the basic pound cake she had.
"No. But I did want to try a girl in college or something before I get married. Just to see what it's like you kno'?" Carmen shrugged.
"Mm, what if you turn out to like it more than a tryout?" Maddison questioned. Carmen shrugged again "I guess Ima be bumping coochies for the rest of my life. It doesn't sound bad actually" She chuckled.
"Speakin' of college, I-I finally got my acceptance letter to NCAT," She said watching two big smiles grow on their faces. "Oouu, we gon' be lit! Ugh, I can't wait bro" Carmen sighed happily.
"That's good but I thought you told me you were lookin' at UCLA?" Maddison questioned and Carmen furrowed her eyebrows "UCLA... All the way in Cali?" She asked.
Sarai slowly nodded "I mean yeah I have been looking more into there. I've been leaning more over that way but it's not for certain" She stated, watching Carmen trying to hide the sad look on her face with a smile.
"But that doesn't mean I'm not going to still look into NCAT. And you kno' I can't be that far away from everyone" She reasoned. This was a really hard decision for Sarai more so because the people pleaser in her was starting to come out. She was trying to make her decision on her own and not doing what she felt as if everyone else would like her to do.
Maddison could feel the change in everyone's mood "Well girl do what's best for you. UCLA isn't a bad school so I've heard. It's a lot of good opportunities in Cali too. What do you want to major in?" She asked.
"I want to double major actually. I want to do food and nutritional sciences and business" Sarai spoke, with a slight smile on her face.
"That's good Rayray, if you choose to go to UCLA, you'll be a step closer to opening a restaurant there like you want" Carmen smiled.
"I was thinkin' that. But I don't kno'. I'm still thinking. My mom says I have until decision makin' day to think" She nodded, breaking her White macadamia nut cookie in half and giving it to Carmen. She always does that now when she has cookies.
Decision-making day was when all the seniors post the colleges they got accepted into and post the college they will be attending in May. So she had until early May to pick a school, she just hopes she made the right decision.
"Have you told the boys?" Carmen questioned.
"What boys?" Maddison wondered.
"The other people that are a part of our friend group. Rell, JB and Maj." Sarai informed her. Maddison looked shocked "Really? You're so quiet and they... they're so loud. Especially JB" She chuckled.
Sarai joined in the chuckle "Yeah they're. But we have all been close friends since primary school. And no I haven't told them." She sighed, taking a bite out of her big warm cookie.
She really didn't know how to tell the boys, she felt like they were going to be mad. They have been planning this college life since 7th or 8th grade. On top of that, if she didn't get to UCLA, she would be moving across the country and they have never been separated like that.
She was nervous to tell them she was thinking about cutting out on something they have been planning since kids
But Sarai had to put herself first.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

The Thing About Apholie: A Wolfwalkers Fanfiction
14 year-old Abigail Rosmere is afraid. Afraid of the wild. Which would make being friends with Apholie Lilliput, a wild girl from the nearby woods, sound very ironic. She's the only wild thing Abigail isn't afraid of. But when Apholie accidentally turns her into her species, far unlike any human, Abigail's world is turned upside down. And when Apholie is in danger, will Abigail run and save herself or stay and fight to protect the only thing she has left to call her own? (This is my first story on Wattpad and it is inspired by Wolfwalkers. I do not own the movie, it's characters, plot or any part of it at all. Credit goes to the original creators, Cartoon Saloon. I do own this sh*tty fanfic however, lol)*WATCH WOLFWALKERS FIRST BEFORE READING THIS FANFIC, IT WILL MAKE MORE SENSE, JUST TRUST ME!!!!*Additional stuff, (lol):Updates will most likely be very slow, mainly either due to school or lack of motivation. Also, I do not take requests. I do, however, take constructive criticism. My writing will most likely get better with the more books I compose, cus honestly I'm not too proud of this, but I'm too lazy to change it so I'm sticking with it. This was made with no planning whatsoever, so be prepared for some parts that may not make any sense. Lack of self confidence aside, I do hope you enjoy!(Thx for the 107 views, by the way!)
