"I warned you." said Jude playing candy crush on his phone.
"You didn't warm me you called me thirty seconds before I would go into the house." said Tamari walking the phone out of his hands.
"Tamari because your playing hide and seek in the city it does not mean you are allowed to just break my shit." yelled Jude.
Tamari was stressed and paranoid he knew the day would come. After speeding off her went to Jides place to discuss his next moves, he's contemplated on working with Aniyah's ex Kamare but he respected Aniyah too much to do her dirty to that extent.
He wasn't a backstabbing friend, he was real and never threw his friends under the bus. "You put this on yourself, were you out of your rabbit ass mind or what?"
"What?"
"Dont what me nigga? I know both you and Murda, your weakness is his strength and his weakness is yours. You make one stupid decision and he'll use that weakness to finish yo ass, and you made one of them stupid decisions today."
"What's the worst he would do."
"The worst he'd do? you took his whole franchise his name and his brand, you ran with that shit after you both owned it."
"He's going to kill me, I don't give a shot anyway my times on this planet is up."
"Yall need to work this out, people are going to get hurt, your brother is out for Tremani like it's his calling from God keep him on a leash mahn."
"BJ's been mad."
"It's not his battle though, he gets ten percent of your earnings and he's acting like it's his business that's at stake as I said keep him on a leash."
"Shit hasn't been going right anyway, somebody already tried to take the drugs because they thought it was in Murda's name."
"Where is it?"
"They took it, I don't play about my shit though, there's a tracker in it... oh shoot there's a tracker in it. Let me check that right now."
"You and Tremani were brothers, similar names brought up in the same household, business partners, I was third wheeling yall. Think about me mahn don't get me caught up in the cross fire because I support you both."
"Jude that isn't going to change the animosity that's between us- oh SHIT! shit!." exclaimed Tamari.
"What mahn"
"Oh my- Oh mahn nah."
"Where is the drugs."
"It's at Kasiyah's house."
Kamare sat in his office dozing at the sound of money being counted in the machine. His phone had been blowing up all day, he'd been mentioned in so many facebook posts by Aniyah's cousins but never her directly. He didn't do social media it was just a dangerous place for him.
He never wanted to get caught lacking especially because of the internet.
"Come in." he said replying tot the knock at the door. "What do you want Glock?"
"Your mrs is outside."
"Let her in then."
"I thought i'd ask you first so-
"Go head ask me last,Either way I don't give a fuck she's gonna be my mrs at the end of the day. let her in."
"You know just because your drop didn't go as planned does not mean you can go crazy."
"Mind your no having ass business and get out."
"Hey baby." said Asia walking over to his desk.

"Waddup.
"Why do you seem down?"
"Where the fuck are my drugs you were supposed to pick that shit up and hide it after we stole it from Tamari."
"And I did."
"Where is it, did you stick it up your coochie or what?."
"Stop plying with me."
"Asia you are playing with me, you been so distant and quiet, you cheating on me?"
"No nigga."
"Then where is my parcel."
"At Kasiyah's house."
"At who's house?"
"Kasiyah's house."
"Sit your ass down and explain to me how that shit ended up there."
Trembling, she took a seat on the nearest chair still keeping her distance. A lot went on that day it was hectic, she had to keep it there.
"Who's that girl coming over here?."
"I told you her name is Asia, do you listen or do you just randomly zone out?"
The name ringed a bell to Tremani. "what you said last."
"And why is she coming to this house?"
"Why don't you use that glock tucked in your bag to tap the side of your head so you can recall what I told you."
"Kasiyah don't get smart with me."
"My boss has instructed me to meet with her to clear things up as I am adopting her brother."
"Wait Pablo is her brother?"
"No they just met yesterday."
"Kasiyah please stop the dry sarcasm." he said organising the pillows on the sofa.
"The kids are with my mom."
"I didn't ask." he said bluntly.
"I- ok I just say it so my brain knows to remember."
"I'll remember it for you."
In the distance the door bell rang and Kasiyah went to go open it.
"Nice house." said Asia walking in.
"And a good afternoon to you to." she said.
"Why am I here." she said walking into the living room clutching her bag.
Earlier she had picked up a whole brick of cocaine, it sat in her teflar bag pulling her arm down as it was so heavy. Kasiyah raised her eyebrows a few times at this because she wanted to know why she looked like she was about to faint any minute soon.
"Don't act like you don't know why your here." said Kasiyah leading her out of the hallway and through the back door into the garden.
From the living room couch Tremani sat with his legs up and head hurried in his phone, he could hear the faint words shared between Kasiyah and Asia and couldn't help but notice how noticeable the second voice was.
"Tremani could you get me a please.
"Did you just say Tremani."
"Yes Asia I said Tremani."
"As in the Tremani. Locked up never had a chance of getting out, fucked me raw then dipped Tremani. Came back and fell in love with me, had a full on relationship Tremani."
"Wait what. Whatever you two had going on has nothing to do with me besides there are many other Tremani's out there what makes you think this one would want to mess with you." she said smartly.
Tremani could hear the commotion and before he could jump up to see what was going on both girls had walked into the living room.
"Don't touch none of my stuff, and for all that foul language a few seconds ago I don't cuss in my house so you either stop it or I wash your mouth." warned Kasiyah walking in front of Asia.

"Tremani evacuate into the other room."
"Kasiyah aim not going no where."
"So Tremani that's you."
"No it's nemo what the hell do you want."
"So your going to act like you don't know who I am."
"So your going to act like you couldn't hold it down while I was locked up, yeah hush."
"Wait so yall were a thing."
"No Kasiyah we weren't a thing."
"Call it what you want, you know we were a thing for practically a whole year."
"Well I don't remember."
"You said you loved me do you remember that."
"You know what- ion even know your name."
"Asia does that ring a bell."
"Asia you got me fucked up- you messy, who cares if we did a thing, the important part is that you left to do your thing so we have nothing to conversate about."
"Besides you have a new boyfriend, my friends sneaky link what's his name Kamare."
"And what about him."
"Oh so I see you got a thing for the drug dealers." scoffed Tremani.
"And what about it."
"She sure thinks she in some sort of hood fairytale."
"I make more money than you we do not compare."
"Baby her money is legal you can not compare."
"Tell her again because if I speak I might loose my job."
"Go do whatever you have to do and leave me alone."
"Where are your toilets."
"Upstairs, i'll take you before you start breaking my stuff with your heavy handed self."
Kasiyah lead her upstairs showing her the toilets. The brawl didn't faze her because she knew how Asia was it never ended well between them. What she didn't know was that Tremani got down like that, he seemed to know her but didn't want to go into detail.
After all it was never her business but because the business followed her into her house it was now her business. Would she investigate? maybe, but now wasnt the time.
Tremani's watched as they walked up the stairs, Asia was a mess, he didn't want anything to do with her messy ass, yes they were a good couple but she made everything a problem. He too noticed how she looked like she would faint any minute soon, and that when she was all up in his face she didn't bother to put her bag down. He was adamant that she was carrying something.
Asia hurried into the bathroom, locking the door and setting her bag on the floor. Cautiously she removed the package out of her bag and hurriedly found a place to hide it. Kasiyah asked her about the bag once and she was getting worried that they'd find out, she could also tell that Tremani knew she was carrying something.
The real question is why would she bring a whole block of cocaine into Kasiyah's home, the answer is that Asia is stupid, she never had a normal thought process, it wasn't until she got to Kasiyah's front door step that she realised that she had it in her bag as she didn't removed it from the bag when it was collected.
She thought she could play it off and just carry it but it was weighing her down, so she had to put it away.
"Are you done yet."
"Can you not wait, damn."
Finally Asia got out of the bathroom following Kasiyah out into her garden, she was astounded by how successful and beautiful her house was but she wasn't going to let Kasiyah know that.
"Kasiyah you want me to order some pizza?"
"With what money."
"Kasiyah don't even." In respinse she raised her hand into his face making Asia pay attention to the ring on her finger.
"Nice ring. Who got it for you."
"Thank you it was from Tremani." she said lightly smiling.
"I have the exact same one as from the exact same person." she said smiling.
"Get your friend right fuck- the hell now before i bop her in this house on me she'll wish she never knew me."
"Composure Tremani."
"She got the wrong nigga because she came into the relationship with the ring keep it pushing asia."
"Right, your here to just talk rubbish but haven't said anything of sense since you came, now my apology I want it now and fast."
"Well your going to get it later and slower, bitch"
"Well you can get the fuck out of my house." From the corner of her eye she could see Tremani's face turn into shock, she never swore so he knew she was very mad.
"My pleasure, good ridding to you and your block looking mans."
"Shut the fuck up." Tremani said slamming the door behind her.
Lᴀᴛᴇʀ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴅᴀʏ......
They sat in silence for a few minutes before Kasiyah broke the silence. "Thanks for having my back, but you need to keep your boo in check."
"Mahn Kasiyah, that isn't my boo, yeah we messed around but hell you mean more to me than she ever did." he said sitting next to her on the couch.
"Ok."
"Why you so stiff come over here." he said tugging at her shirt.
Kasiyah stayed bolted to her seat, she wasn't going anywhere but from the corner of her eye she could see Tremani wasn't playing, he sat slightly slouched with a white shirt and grey joggers on that sagged. His arm draped over her as it sat on the top of the couch.
"You don't like me remember."
"Kasiyah stop playing with me." he tutted pulling her into his chest. She could smell his aroma and it smelt good.
"If I didn't like you then what this all about." he said smacking his lips while placing her hand in his and raising it, pointing to the ring.
"You gave me this ring because you like me?" she cooed turning to face towards him.
"As a person, as a person."
"I like me too." she cheesed.
"I'm taking you out."
Kasiyah's neck snapped, she didn't think she heard him correctly yes she thought he was fine but for him to ask to take her out was like having a high school crush asking you to prom.
"You have no money sir."
"Are you my accountant?"
"I am a busy women with three kids to look after and a job when are you going to find the time to take me out." she quizzed.
"I already asked your mom to keep Kamiyah, Sekani and Pablo at hers for the night on this day next week."
"Oh so you got this planned planned."
"I wasn't even asking you, I would've dragged you out anyway."
"Boy bye, to think you were so mean when i first met you, looking all over me like I cut your ear off." Kasiyah laughed.
"You were annoying."
"Ok but you liked my annoying ass."
"No what I did like was that dress you wore, fit you well."
"You could have just said that instead of telling me to meet your mama for some damn robes." she said rolling her eyes.
"Kasiyah roll your eyes at me again." he mugged her.
"Ok ok calm down, mean Tremani off, nice Tremani switch on." she commanded.
"I ain't no damn robot. Haven't you got work or something."
"I decide when- a sudden ring at the doorbell silenced her. A series of poundings at the door sounded into the house making Tremani jolt up picking Kasiyah up to. He motioned for her to stay quiet, then a voice shouted.
"KASIYAH OPEN THE DOOR MAN, OPEN THE DOOR."
Kasiyah instantly knew who it was, "Tremani it's cool that's Tamari."
Before she could get up and open the door Tremani caught a hold of her arm, "Who?"
"Tamari, my friend."
"No, don't open that door unless you want a shootout at your yard."
"Tremani what are you talking about?"
"AY KASIYAH OPEN THIS DOOR UP."

Force Majeure: A web novel
In the Qursan Empire, the grey walls of the city press down on its subjects. It is a highly divided society which is based on the magical strength of its citizens. While the most powerful are trained as Mages, the majority of citizens use their limited skills with essence to power the city in their assigned jobs. Jano is pretty much the lowest of the low in the Qursan Empire. A Class Ten citizen forced into transitory work after having his power restricted. When he gets the opportunity to change all of that, he takes it with both hands. Please note this is an edited version of my story ‘city of captives’. It follows a similar structure but I’ve ironed out some of the kinks. If you read that version, much of this will be similar though there are some differences. This is a slow burning progression fantasy. Please expect at least two chapters per week. I love writing this story but I do have unfortunate things to deal with like work and life outside of writing. I may be able to write and edit more than that, but it will never be less! If you enjoy this, consider following me on Instagram by just searching Crow J Williams.

Being the God of Hell is a bother [On temporary hiatus]
A group of people dies in a plane crash, but their souls are snatched away by an entity called the Highest One, that wants to make them the gods of a new world in order to guide and control its population. One of the passengers, Viktor, protests this, saying that the people of the new world should be entitled to find their own path in life without immortal beings ruling over them. The Highest One then ask Viktor if he really has that much faith in humanity, and after Viktor answer positively he made him into the God of Hell, tasked with redeeming the souls of the damned, as a way to test Viktor's faith in humanity... EDIT: I'm reworking this novel a bit, changing the first chapters from the "screenplay" form to standard prose. I should be done and start a shedule of one chapter per week at the end of february.
