《Jodha's Jalal (The Mughal Saga I)》Author's Note

Hey you all. First of all, a very big thank you for continuing to read my story and always getting eager to know what would happen next. It motivated me and kept me going. I love writing stories and to be frank, I never pre-decided on any plot. I just kept writing whatever came to my mind and the story kept unfolding.
Like I have told before, I believe that many of these stories might be taking place in a parallel universe somewhere and God took me as a medium to deliver these to you.
Now, important things first. I wrote a story on Jodhaa Akbar earlier in 2020 as some of you might know, and also it is one of my works. I have always been attracted towards history and love stories of kings and queens, especially the ones where they have no kind of similarity yet somehow end up together.
So, I thought of writing this book, "Jodha's Jalal", to give the readers out there something different. Not the usual hate-love story and portraying Ruqqayah as the villain, but something different this time. I first developed this love for Jodha Akbar back when I was in grade five. I still remember very fondly as that was the time when the serial was broadcast on ZEE TV as well.
I used to wait eagerly for every episode, although I understood very little of what was happening. And the next thing I know, I stopped watching it all of a sudden, because of some sort of peer pressure. But then, I started watching it again back in tenth grade and I understood all the Urdu words and phrases and also understood what relationships were. It was the same time when I watched the movie Jodhaa Akbar and then grew fascinated about them.

I have loved them since I was a kid and I was not very satisfied with my first story on Jodhaa Akbar, so I decided to write another, better, detailed version. But then again, I am proud of my first work too as I learned many new things. My writing style has evolved so much since then, and I am so glad to all the readers out there and my siblings for their constant support.
I still remember, when my first story on Wattpad, Jodhaa Akbar reached 1000 reads, I was so excited. And it happened when I had almost completed the story. But ever since then, things have changed so much. I mean this story reached 10,000 reads in 30 chapters itself. It is a really great thing for me.
I have not been a very interactive writer but I have tried changing it and tried to talk to you all in the past months as much as possible. And what a rollercoaster this year has been. The one thing that kept me happy and going despite all the troubles was the fact that there are people out there waiting to read my story. So even on days, when I was really sad, I used to write, as it was the only thing that kept me happy.
Once again, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for reading this story and being a part of this journey. I love you all and I hope the best for you all. May you all achieve what you wish for, and also work hard for. Keep going, but also remember to take a break every once in a while, as no one is more important than you.
On another note, I kept getting questions regarding the story, so this note is to clear all doubts. Yes, this story has now come to an end. Also, there will be a sequel to this story, about which in detail I will post in the next update.
Keep yourself happy and take care, until next time!

Gaijin
Gaijin means outsider or foreigner. That goes doubly so for David Wyatt after he found himself in a world being chased by something that looked eerily like a stereotypical Japanese Oni. Now, he has to figure out how he can find his place in a world where most people dislike him on principle. At least everything is also out to eat him in some way… wait, that’s a not a positive. This is a Eastern Fantasy GameLit story. It is primarily told from the main character's perspective with the very common trope of an isekai. There will be my own spin on things, so facts I pull from eastern mythology and legends will be drastically different in some aspects. In the end, this story is just for your and my enjoyment. There will be guaranteed chapters every Friday at 15:00 CST, and I will randomly post chapters at other times when I get in the mood for writing or when I like a particular scene.

Homunculi: 6
A powerful family desperate to maintain its position at any cost meddles in the domain of the divine by designing and developing a new race called Homunculi. These creations are honed into brutal weapons to fuel their grand ambitions and keep their secrets hidden.Fresh eyes take in this world as a new Homunculus awakens. Its conditioning and training take an unexpected twist as it develops abilities and skills different from the others of its kind. -------------------- Surrounded by manufactured warriors who are incredibly powerful from day one, our MC will find himself lacking in innate skills and knowledge. Very much a weak to strong story. There is definitely action and adventure within, but expect a slow start that is focused on character growth, building tension, unraveling conspiracies, while learning about a new magical world. Some cooking and some daydreaming within. (I see you slice of life) --------- WIP art by Katie Z.

Letters from Shanti Ashram, India
I lived in India from 1984-2005, and wrote to my parents regularly about my adventures in Indian ashrams. From 1984-1993 and again 2001-2005, I was living in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, and I am adding all of those my "Letters from India" book, which will mainly be of interest to those familiar with Prasanthi Nilayam, the ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. However, from 1994-2001 I was staying at a wonderfully spiritual, quiet retreat called Shanti Ashram, and I am putting the letters I wrote to my parents while staying there, on this book. The ashram was a dream come true for sadhana. The people are welcoming, it is usually never crowded, and they offer separate cottages to aspirants. The rates are donation basis only.
