《The Kings Human Queen》12. Punishment

Cell ^^
Surprise is an understatement. I don't know how Alex got off my private floor.
After I busted down the door to my office the stair alarm went off.
Fergus and I rushed down them following Alex's scent.
My heart skipped when I saw the front door open and I rushed out to find her before she could get hurt.
"I'm don't smell her anywhere." Fergus said
"Nor I." I answered looking around. I turned back to the palace.
"I don't think she left the building." I said turning around and heading back in.
Her scent was at the front door. It didn't lead anywhere but back to the stairs. I followed it back to my office and heard Alex's voice.
The moment of relief that she was safe changed to rage at what she was doing, she was trying to leave me.
"I promise Momma I won't stop fighting. I'm your daughter, I'll never give up." I heard her say.
I walked into the office and she looked up at me.
"I love you Mommy." She quickly said before I yanked the phone, cord and all from the desk and threw it across the room.
"Do you realize what you've done?" I asked her in a cold tone, I wasn't upset about the phone call, all the phones in the palace were set to bounce the signal so no one would track it. No I was upset she was trying to leave me. Fergus mind-linked the pack that it was a false alarm that someone had accidentally opened the emergency doors.
"What I've done?" Alex screamed "You took me across the world from my home. You KIDNAPPED me!" She screamed
She flipped my desk over and started throwing everything she could get her hands on in my direction.
"This attitude and behavior will no longer be tolerated. You will submit to me and behave your self." I said grabbing her arm roughly
"Like hell I will." She spat in my face.
My wolf and I didn't take her disrespect well. I was patience enough with her and that patience was gone.
Fergus walked over to the control panel and shut off the alarm.

"I've been too nice it seems. Trying to give you time to adjust. Submit to me now or you will not like what comes next." I said holding her by her upper arms.
"Never." She said with a glare.
"So be it." I said dragging her out of my office.
I dragged her towards the elevator and punched in the code for the cells in the basement.
I dragged her to a cell and roughly shoved her in to it. I slammed the door locking her in.
"This will be your new home until you submit to me." I said and turned and walked away while she screamed curse words at me.
On the elevator ride back up Fergus made his opinion known.
"I don't think that will help anything, it's just going to cause the lass to be even more mad at you." He said.
I turned to him and let my Alpha power seep out of me causing him to bare his neck to me in submission almost bringing him to his knees.
"You maybe my oldest friend and my sister's mate, but do not forget your place." I warned.
I spent the rest of the night in my room until my office could be fixed and cleaned. She just has to be showed who was in charge here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4 days have passed and each day Jimmy goes down to the cells and asks her if she ready to submit.
I think I'm closer to submitting than she is.
I can't sleep without her, I'm taking my anger out on everyone around me.
My father refuses to speak to me until I release Alex from the cells.
I won't go down to the cells because I know of I did, I get her out.
Even my wolf was ready to just have her back in our bed. Submitting be damned.
But I was the King and she had to learn her place.
The place was a buzz with talk about the fiery human girl locked in the cells.
A knock on my office door brought me out of my thoughts.
"Enter" I said harshly.
In came one of the cell guards.
"Sir, I think the girl--" I interruped him.
"Did she send you here to tell me she submits?" I asked hopeful that I could have her back in my arms by tonight.
"N-no sir she--" I cut him off again.
"Is she alive and unharmed?" I asked him
"Yes, sir but--"
"No, if she's healthy and isn't ready to submit I do not want to hear what she has sent you here for." I told him frustrated at how head strong my little mate was.
"No it's not wha-"
"I said I didn't want to hear it. Leave while you can." I said in my Alpha tone.
The guard scurried out of my office shutting the door behind him.
"You might as well have let him speak, whatever it was, was important enough for him to come all the way up here for." Fergus said from his chair across from my desk.
I just glared at him and went back to my paper work. I didn't want him to know how close I was already to just letting her out. I knew I couldn't resist if she had send the guard in here to beg for her.
Shaking my head I went back to the folder in my hands. Packs from around our area had missing teenage she-wolfs. There were too many for them all to be runaways.
~~~~~~
Sitting at the dining table 2 nights later, no one spoke a word. All you could hear was the scraping of cutlery on the china plates.
I squirmed in my chair, my back had been bothering me for the past half hour which was odd as it had never happened before.
About the 3rd time I adjusted to get the aching to quit my mother noticed.
"What's wrong son?" She asked looking at me.
"Nothing just stressed, my back is bothering me a little." I replied not really interested in eating.
My father's head snapped up.
"Does it feel like it's burning?" He asked me
"Yea a little." I responded as his eyes went wide and he looked at my mother in shock as she did the same.
Then he said one word that made my heart stop "Alex."
My father, Fergus and I raced to Alex's cell to find her gone and the guard who came into my office 2 days ago laying on the cell floor unconscious. Hearing what sounded like slaps coming from further up we went towards it only to have my heart break in to a million pieces at the sight.
My mate. My beautiful mate was chained up hanging from her wrists while a guard whipped her back. There was blood everywhere and I could see what looked like her bones peaking out from the flesh that was torn away.
The guard whipping her saw us and ran away as my father and beta chased after him.
I walked in front of Alex and looked up at her. Her eyes were screwed shut, her face contorted in pain and her hands were fisted.
"This was not suppose to happen. I'm so sorry." I said unhooking her and holding her in my arms careful not to touch her back.
She looked at me and all I saw was fear and pain in her eyes.
"I hate you." She whispered before passing out. Making my heart break even more.
I rushed her through the palace to the infirmary as fast as I could.
I handed her off to the doctors before warning them that if she died they would too.
I sat in a chair with my head in my hands. I glanced down and saw blood all over me. Her blood.
My father and beta brought the guard who had been knocked out in Alex's cell to the infirmary.
"Where is the guard who hurt her." I asked deadly calm.
"He got out, I don't know how, but we will find him." My father assured me.
"I don't get it, no guard is allowed to give any punishment without written consent from you." Fergus said.
"Which guard was it?" I asked
"Randall." My father answered "I told you he needed to be thrown out of the pack years ago when he killed that female rogue without authorization." He said
"I know this is already my fault father, but Randall will die for hurting my Mate." I said leaning my head against the wall and staring at nothing knowing if I lost her I wouldn't be able to survive.

The Day You Conquered the World
You wake up in a forest with no memories. The world is filled with magic — but an underlying corruption lies underneath. The story is told from the 2nd person view — or your view. The story is pure railroad. You won't have any control on how it goes — but info dumps and 3rd person reactions/narratives won't be a big part of the story.
