The past week has been amazing. We had a pack cook-out and I got to talk to alot more people. At first they called it a BBQ, but the night of, when they only served hotdogs and hamburgers, I let them know real quick as a country girl from the south that that was not a BBQ it was a cook-out.

Because they now know about me Xavier let the maids come back to the floor to do their work like they use to during the day and not while I was asleep. I personally think it's silly to have maids because what grown adult can't simply pick up after themselves, but apparently everyone in the pack has a job that they get pick what it is and that was one of them. The only times they can pick, but it not be accepted right away is if it's a warrior position/guard or something else that would require them to be physically superior to do their jobs. In those cases they have to train to meet the requirements.

At first I think the maids were afraid to talk to me, but eventually they warmed up to me. Elyssa said it's because I'm their Luna and no matter what there will be a divide between us and them as they look up to us.

I think it's plain bullsh*t. If we're meant to be a family then they shouldn't be afraid to talk to me. But Elizabeth explained while we can blend that line from time to time sometimes the divide is needed incase of a battle.

In any case I finally found someone to talk to that's not directly related to Xavier. A maid named Lilly. She is just the sweetest girl. She seems to be around 19 but she's very small maybe 5'4 if I'm being generous. Even though she's a year older than me, I see her as the little sister I always wanted. She is hilarious and I generally spend time my free time following her around while she does her work and talk to her. I also try to help her with some of her work, at first she flat out refused to let me, but when I explained I was there anyway so she might as well except the help, she caved.

Elizabeth, Elyssa and even Edmond started teaching me about werewolf history and filling my head with a sh*t ton of do's and don'ts for royals.

Lilly helps quiz me while I follow her around. I've settled into a routine that I really like.

Xavier goes over what my role is and tells me werewolf stories and such while we cuddle at night, which I love. His voice is so soothing. One thing I've noticed is he tends to get to caught up with work and forgets about lunch. I've starting making a point to grab lunch for him and Fergus and make them stop working long enough to eat. Which is where I'm currently headed to now.

I knocked on the door and waited. I didn't want to interrupt and be rude by just walking in if he was on a call or meeting with other people. Even though he keeps telling me I can.

"Come in." Xavier said

I opened the door and walked in.

"Hey brought you some lunch." I said walking over to his desk.

He looked so serious behind the desk, and freaking hot. "How many times do I have to tell you, you don't have to knock." He said looking at me while shaking his head with a small smile.

"Good I'm starving lass." Fergus said eyeing the platter and 2 plates of food and rubbing his hands together.

"Sorry this is for me and Xavier. Elyssa said for you to go up to the kitchen on our floor for your lunch. Something about you had promised to spend at least 2 lunches with her a week since you've been working a lot." I reminded him of his promise he made at dinner when she wasn't talking to him because she missed him.

It made no sense to me to ignore someone just because you missed them, but it wasn't my bull and it wasn't my pasture.

Fergus shot up out of his chair and ran out the door closing it behind him.

I laughed at him and sat the platter of food on the coffee table. Xavier joined me on the couch, kissing the side of my head.

"This looks good love." He said digging in.

"That's real good." He said "Remind me to give the cook a raise."

"I made it." I said

"Really?" He asked

"Why are you so surprised you know I can cook, besides what am I not good at." I said with a grin

He leaned over and gave me a peck on the lips. "You are great a everything." He said before turning to eat again.

After we finished eating my belly was full and it made me sleepy. So I climbed on Xavier's lap, which is my favorite place to be, when he went to sit back behind his desk.

"Whatcha working on?" I asked looking at pictures of girls all over his desk.

"10 Teenage she-wolves have went missing. From our pack and packs around our area. Someone has taken them." He said

I sat up straight, wide awake at his words. "Do you have any leads?"

"No nothing and that's what's bothering me. As King I can feel all the wolves connected to me. When they die I feel the connection break. I still feel their connection, but it's faint. Where they were last scene something happens and the scent washes away before we can investigate." He said running his hand through his hair.

"What do you mean something happens to the scent?" I asked

"It either rains or the sprinklers have been on washing away any scent, we can't seem to catch a break." He explained

"Maybe that's not a coincidence." I said. He looked at me confused. "Think about it, if I was going to kidnap a wolf with other wolves around who could just follow my scent, when would the best time to be to strike?" I asked him seeing if he saw where I was going.

"It's planned." He realized

"It's not a crime of opportunity it's planned out and I'd bet the girls taken are watched before hand and when it rains bam the girl is gone. You need to tighten up security the next time it rains and shut the sprinklers off for the time being and instruct the other pack Alpha's of what we're looking for." I said looking over the files of the girls in front of me.

The 4 packs was ours the Royal Pack, then Edinburg Pack with Alpha Cameron; Stirling Pack with Alpha Logan; and MorDoune Pack with Alpha Angus.

"You really are good at this." He said looking at me in awe.

"I watch crime documentaries like a religion. I might have picked up a thing or two." I said still reading over the files.

Xavier reached over me and put his phone on speaker and called a number.

While he was setting up a conference call with the 3 Alpha's with the missing girls I arranged the girls fines in order from first taken to last. I noticed a pattern. I turned to Xavier as the last Alpha got on the line.

"Can you all hear me?" Xavier asked.

There was a round of yes's from the line.

"As you may have heard I found my mate your Queen Luna and I think she found something about the missing she-wolves I wanted to share. We haven't been able to follow any scent of the missing girls, we assumed it was bad luck, but my mate saw a connection. The abductions are not random, they always happen right before or during a storm to insure the scent is washed away or on night's the sprinkler systems are on. These are planned." Xavier said filling them in.

"Xavier I found something else." I said whispering I didn't want to disturb them, but since they were already on the phone I figured why not.

"They can hear you even when you whisper." He said whispering to me. And I heard chuckles on the phone.

"Then why are you whispering?" I asked

He shrugged his shoulders and motioned for me to talk.

"Hi, I'm sorry to interrupt, I'm sitting here looking at the files and I couldn't help but notice a pattern. They don't take 2 girls back to back from the same pack. They take one at random from one of you then he moves on in a random pattern until he's hit all 4 packs. The first 4 taken were all brunettes, one from each pack. Then 4 blondes. But now he's moved on to red heads. He's gotten 2 so far and that means he'll try to take one from our pack and one from Alpha Logan's Pack.

Part of me wants to put all the redheads in both packs in a safe room with guards, but that won't help the girls who have been taken. Is there a way we can put a tracker on all the red heads. Explain to them what's going on and give them a choice to be safety guarded in a room or used as bait. If they grab one of the girls with a tracker then it won't matter about the rain or sprinkler systems. We can follow him to where he has the other girls. We've got time to plan cuz according to the weather forecast on Xavier's computer for our area's it's not due to rain for another week.

And I was thinking about something else. In all the reports there was not one witness and it got me thinking. The castle we are in is old. In a lot of older Castle's there are secret passages, while blue prints over time have gone missing I wonder if this guy hasn't someone found some tunnels or blue prints from somewhere. Ya'll's packs are ya'll in old castle's too?" I asked

"They all are." Xavier answered for them deep in thought.

"Then it could be a possibility. It has to be someone familiar with all 4 packs to have that much access to even look for them. Is there anyone you can think of?" I asked all 4 of them

"Not that I can think of." I heard one of the Alpha's on the phone reply

"But ya'll are old like Xavier right? Over that much time it could be anyone." I said more to my self.

I heard chuckling again when I called them old.

"I can't believe we missed all this." One of the Alpha's said

"2 months and we have nothing you sit at my desk for 5 mins and you've came up with a pattern and a plan." Xavier said smiling at me.

"You've gotten your self a great Luna and Queen sire." one of the men said.

"That I do." Xavier answered

"And I have a way to find the passages. If we can't find the blue prints get a bunch of baby power and bellow hand dusters. If there is a secret passage the powder will be sucked into the cracks of a passage." I said still deep in thought.

While Xavier and the Alpha's continue to discuss over the things I've come up with a thought hit me.

"Hey Xavier you said you can feel your connection to the wolves right?" I asked not looking at him

"Yes." He said

"Well can you feel if a wolf in your pack leaves your territory?" I asked looking something up on his laptop.

"Yes." He said not seeing where I was headed

"Did you feel the girls from you pack leave? Did any of you?" I asked

"I did." Came 3 replies from the Alpha's on the phone

"No I didn't." Xavier replied.

"Then maybe their all here." I mumbled to my self.

"Who built this castle?" I asked

"umm...Benedikt Reji, why?" Xavier asked as I typed in his name in the search bar.

"Because according to the internet here, he also built the Prague Castle. It has secret passages and even a underground room for secret meetings." I said

I felt like I was missing something. I kept looking online for anything related to the architect then Xavier started rubbing my back and something clicked.

"Randall." I said looking at Xavier

"What." He said, his head snapping to me.

"Your Dad and Fergus couldn't find him. They said it was like he, poof, disappeared. He said.. oh shit. It's him I'd bet my life on it." I said

"Randall ain't that the guard you've been looking for?" One of the Alpha's asked

"Yes." Xavier answered him never taking his eyes off of me.

"When I was down there when Michael and the others made sure he couldn't get to me. He started saying things, I didn't think much of. I thought he was talking out of his ass trying to scare me. He said something about taking me to his 'play room' with all his other toys. I wonder if by 'toys' he meant girls." I said watching Xavier as everything clicked into place for him.

"You three get on looking for the tunnels in you packs and I'll do the same. And round up any red heads in your pack Logan and I'll do the same give them the option of being locked in a safe room with guards or given a tracking device and I'll do the same here." Xavier said

"Yes sir." The one who I'm assuming Alpha Logan was answered.

"All of you update your guards to be on the look out for Randall, don't tell them we suspect he took the girls and don't tell anyone else we think he's still here, underground. Just in case. I don't like the idea, but he is crossing territories way to easily. Someone maybe working with him. This is too much work for just 1 person." I added.

"Yes Luna." I heard from 3 different voices.

"Call if you find anything and I'll do the same. Good Bye." Xavier said ending the conference call.

"See you need to let me help more often." I said kissing him on the lips.

"You are an amazing Queen already." He mumbled deepening the kiss.

The kiss got hot and heavy and Xavier lifted me up and had me straddle him with my legs on either side of him. Just as he broke the kiss and started kissing down my neck the phone rang.

Xavier growled at it before answering.

"What." He said in a sharp low tone

"Alpha Oliver do what do I owe the pleasure." Xavier said rolling his eyes.

"Yes, that will be fine. I'll have the guest rooms set up how many will you be needing?" Xavier asked with his eyebrow raised indicating he was irritated.

"Alright, see you tonight." He said hanging up the phone.

"Who's Alpha Oliver?" I asked

"He's an Alpha from Australia. And a thorn in my side. He constantly complains over every little thing. On top of that he's always trying to shove his daughter down my throat." He said

For some reason I got irritated at the mention of this. Not at Xavier, but Alpha Oliver.

Xavier noticed my change in mood.

"No need to be jealous. I never dated her or even gave a look her way. She's a horrible person inside and out." He said running his nose along my jaw making me shiver.

"Why are they coming here?" I said and I'll admit it, in a whiney tone.

Xavier chuckled. "He said he was visiting another Alpha in Ireland and decided to visit me since he was this way. But I know it's because he heard I found my mate and he wants to try to shove his daughter at me again. Otherwise he wouldn't have brought her. She's too annoying to take anywhere without a purpose." He said kissing my neck.

"They will be here tonight and are only staying one night. They will be leaving by tomorrow." He added.

"Do I have to be nice?" I asked hoping he'll say no, but knowing he probably won't.

"Yes, but if they insult you nice goes out the window." He said his arms tightening around me and his eyes darkening.

"Can they stay on a different floor?" I asked

Xavier chuckled. "Of course love." he said.

I snuggled up to him and started drifting off. "If you need my help again wake me up." I said sleepily. I don't know at what point, but I ended up falling asleep.
