"You're an idiot, Walker!!"
I raised (Cp/N) up again by their shirt and slammed them a second time into the ground, causing them to grit their teeth and squeeze their eyes shut. They were trying to grab my arms and fight me back, but I have the strength of a well trained proxy; they couldn't fight me off if they tried.
I didn't want to hurt them, but I was too blinded by my own anger to really care right now. What were they thinking? Running away? Why?? Don't they know what Slender Man would've done to them if he found out??
"Why would you do this?" I hiss, jarring my palms into their shoulders, "why would you run away?"
"I wasn't thinking, alright?!"
"Tch—obviously!"
I then heard a scoff from behind me and turn to see BEN floating there, still hanging around with his arms crossed. "Can you not beat up (Y/N) like that? I kinda like them the way they are now..." He growled, glaring at me. "Can it loser, and get outta here before I ground you six feet under," I hiss venomously at him.
Seriously, I was pissed.
"I can't breathe, could you get off me so I can explain myself?" (Cp/N)'s voice sneered beneath me. I look back down at them and see that their teeth were clenched and their eyes were watery. I lighten my pressure on their shoulders and back off a bit.
"Why did you do it, Walker," I huffed, asking them my question again. "I'll explain, alright?" (Cp/N) murmured, their voice sounding angry and faint, "I just got lost in myself for a while....I thought I could go back home, I didn't think about what I was doing. I swear I rethought everything and was going to head back—"
"Why do you want to go back there? I thought you liked it with us?"
"First impression wasn't that great, you know," (Cp/N) sighed. "And yes, I like it with you guys a bit but like I said I wasn't thinking. Boredom got mixed with curiosity and I dared to push it."
They then covered their face with their hands and took a long, deep sigh while rubbing their face in frustration. They seemed really bothered about something, and I could tell they weren't telling me the whole story. "Are you going to tell Slenders on me?"
"....No. I'm not. But you have to come back to the mansion with me now."
(Cp/N) nodded and I slowly picked myself up, helping them along on their feet. They seemed a bit shaken from having experienced my strength and so I took their arm deciding to help them along. BEN floated over to us and glared at The Walker for a while before taking ahold of their other arm. They tensed a bit and I was about to shoo him away, but they surprisingly tugged the both of us closer and walked between us, keeping their head down.

We all walked in silence as we made our way back to the mansion...

I'm such a fucking idiot...
I felt horrible about everything. The way Kate looked so hurt when she caught me...how BEN apparently had followed me all the way out here...these guys truly seemed to 'care' about me.
I held onto their arms, pulling them closer to me and tried to keep myself from falling over from tiredness. I was sorta afraid to say anything to them, assuming that Kate was still angry, and I still felt a bit pissed off with BEN. Just having them there though was enough, and it made me deeply regret my decisions to try and run off in the first place.

Once we returned to the mansion and stepped inside, I immediately pulled away from BEN and placed myself behind Kate. I didn't even want to see anyone, as I was embarrassed for what I had done, although everyone was probably sleeping anyways and had no idea what was going on.
Apparently not everyone was sleeping though, because from behind Kate I could spot three others on the steps watching us closely as we came in.
"Come back from hunting or what?" One of the individuals snarked, tilting their head, "that's some weird-ass group you took with you, Kate."
"We weren't hunting," Kate scowled, glaring at the one that spoke. I noticed it was Jeff The Killer that Sally had pointed out to me earlier. And the other guy, he had gray skin and he had a blue mask with black dripping eyeholes and wore a black hoodie and black jeans. Kate told me their Creepypasta name was Eyeless Jack. Lastly I saw KageKao at the steps too, peeking at us from the very top.
"What were you doing then? Three in the morning? You and the proxies never roam this early unless it's a mission," Eyeless Jack spike up, tilting his head. "Plus, she's with BEN. What fucktard goes outside with BEN at three in the morning," Jeff added.
"It's none of your business, assholes! Get lost!" Kate growled, beginning to get frustrated with them. "Can't. We were about to go out," Eyeless Jack said, making his way down the rest of the stairs and walking up towards us. Jeff followed him close behind, but KageKao stayed put, only watching silently.
"Go out? On a date?" BEN asked, smirking. "Dumbass, we're going hunting," Sneered Jeff, stepping up to BEN and ramming him in the shoulder with his fist. "Then hurry up and go already, don't mind us," Kate sighed, "...be careful out there."
"Nothing's careful with Jeff," Jack shrugged, and he then headed past us for the door. Jeff glared at BEN, then at me and Kate before slowly following him behind.

I noticed that Jeff kept giving me a strange glares before stepping out the door with Jack and casting at me a very off smirk. I glare back and scowl at him after he lets out a dark chuckle and leaves with the other killer.
Once the two were gone, KageKao basically glided down the steps and walked over to us, a curious expression formed on his mask. "Tell me what happened, please? I promise I won't tell anyone; just tell me why...why you were out there? (Cp/N)...? Kudasai...?"
Before Kate could snap at KageKao like I figured she would, I stepped from behind her and gave him a tired grin, "I'll tell you later on, alright? I promise. Right now I just....I just need some rest. I'm tired."
Kate didn't say a thing, which surprised me, and KageKao gave me a long hard stare, as if trying to figure out what happened by reading my face. After a bit he finally shrugged his shoulders and nodded, backing away from me. I slightly nod my head to him and then Kate's pulling me by the arm again, trying to lead me to the steps. "Come on, Walker. Bedroom, now."
"Okay mom," I utter sarcastically, and I hear BEN and KageKao give light chuckles from behind. I smile and slowly follow Kate to the stairs and up to her bedroom.
I was kind of nervous of waiting , expecting her to start yelling at me as soon she closed the door, but surprisingly she only remained quiet. Which made me even more nervous.
I sat on her bed and she went to her chair. It was then minutes of us only staring at the ground in utter silence. I wanted her to speak up first, but at the way things were I knew she was just waiting for me to talk first. I took a deep breath and slowly lowered my head, looking up to face The Chaser.
"....I'm sorry...."
"We already went through the whole apologizing thing. Now tell me why you did it."
"But I already told you why I did it. I wanted to see if I could go home."
Kate slowly looked up and pulled her mask from off her face, "It wasn't because of any of us, was it? Because we're killers? Because of what happened when you met the others? Because you're afraid of us...?"
"What—No! I'm not afraid of you guys. You guys are actually...well you all seem pretty cool. In one day I was able to warm up to some of you a bit. I promise the only reason I did that was so I could go home and maybe see my parents again."
Kate nodded and sighed, looking off to the small window in her room. It was another wave of silence that dawned in the room before she finally spoke again. "If you say so, Walker. But, you can't go back there—not ever, unless you're going to murder them."
Her eyes shot right to mine after she mentioned the act of 'murdering' my folks, and I knew she was just expecting the horror that washed on my face. "I'll just...I'll just stay away from them forever, then. If that means their safety is assured, I'll back off," I say, trying to control any anger or worry in my voice.
"You'd better hope their safety is assured. You'll never know when one of us may target your old home," Kate scowled, and I looked at her with a somewhat hurt expression. "You wouldn't, Kate? Promise me you wouldn't ever do that to me..."
"I can't make any promises," She sighed, standing from her chair and walking over to me. I felt slightly weird after what she said. "Look, I can't make that a promise, ok? I've gotta do whatever Master Slender Man tells me to do. But, if it's never said by him that I have to kill your parents, then I can assure you that I'll never lay a finger on them!"
I look up to her and nod, relived that she would do that for me. I just hope Slenders would never decide on sending the proxies out to kill them...then there would be nothing I could do. Maybe I could try getting on his good side and stop calling him Gen Spaghetti....
...Nah.
Kate heaved another sigh and she gently pat me on the back, putting on a meek smile. "You. Back to bed now, it's almost four and you need your sleep."
"I'm not gonna argue with that either. Night Kate."
I respond and I pull myself up to the head of the bed, sliding underneath the covers. I watch her as she goes over to her chair and sits, but instead of getting comfortable for sleep, she keeps her eyes on me.
Guess she was gonna watch me for the rest of the night, but I didn't really care. I wasn't that stupid to run off again. Besides, I was dead tired and I wanted to explore a bit more in the mansion tomorrow, maybe meet some of the others I haven't met yet.
For now, I just have to push this mess and the past all behind me, and focus on what's to come in the future.
My new life here, living with the Creepypastas...What's next to come?
