《Life With Creepypastas》34 ⦻ Alt World Creepypasta (The Realistic Creeps...)

I wake up one morning to the sound of loud thunder outside and it feels almost like the whole mansion is shaking.
Yawning, I roll out of bed and head out of my room to face whatever was in store for me today.
The first thing I'm met with as soon as I step out of my room is...Rogue.
The eldest proxy suddenly runs at me from out of nowhere and grabs me up in her arms, hugging me tightly. "Walker! Little buddy, guess what!?" She exclaimed, crushing me.
Considering Rogue doesn't live here at the Slender Mansion, I was a bit shocked to see her again-I thought she would've left after the incidents with the slenders. "What is it???" I gasp, trying to fight for air.
She quickly puts me down and lifts up her mask, only revealing her mouth which was forming an excited grin. "Some of us other killers are going to be living here at the Slender Mansion now! That includes...me!"
"Oh ...really?" I respond, my body feeling like it was broken now. "How come? And how many more of you exactly...."
"A mansion this big made for killers? Doesn't make sense that we're all separated, so Master invited us all to come and stay here!-Well...more like Master's brother Spelndor did, but it's all the same."
Well that's just what we need right? More Creepypastas and more chaos. It's never a boring day here.
I look down the hallway and see a few pastas that aren't apart of our normal crowd going around; creeps like Nightmare Ally, Nathan the Nobody and more.
"We'll that's fun," I respond to Rogue, "hope you have fun living here."
"Oh I will. Especially now that I get to be around my proxy family," She grinned before pulling back down her mask and running off towards the steps. I decide to follow and maybe find someone I'm used to to stick by because even though we are all Creepypastas here, I still get nervous around big crowds of people and these newcomers I am not used to.
Of course, when I get downstairs the living room is crowded. I spot SlenderMan, TenderMan, and SpenderMan nearby the Slender Hall watching the activity going on in the main room. "Maybe recruiting this many killers to live under my roof was not a good idea..." I heard SlenderMan mutter. "Tell that to my dwindling cash. You should've thought of that sooner, you buffoon," SpenderMan growled at him. "I'll go get the cleaning supplies..." TenderMan sighed, beginning to head off for the kitchen.
I head to the couch and see Masky standing directly infront of the TV; looked like he was trying to block the screen because the weather channel was on and SplendorMan was also present and everyone knows how he gets sensitive about the weather. I step up beside Masky and take a look at the screen with him.
"Bad weather?"
"Yep. The thunders been really loud and it's been pouring really hard all morning. Looks like everyone's gonna be stuck inside for the day."
Both me and Masky sighed as if we were thinking the same thing; trapped inside of the mansion all day with all of these new killer residents.
"Hey!! Get yer behinds out of the way, I can't see the TV! Don't you youngins know that's bad for your eyes???" I heard Old Dan yelling suddenly. And Masky groaned loudly. "Go take your meds and shut it, old man," Masky scoffed, pulling a pack of cigarettes from his pockets and walking off. "I can't deal with you people today..."
I decide to stick with Masky and trail behind him. "Whatcha gonna do, 'The Mask'?"
"What does it look like I'm gonna do, 'The Walker'?"
He doesn't sound that pleased that I'm following him, which makes me grin. I follow him as he walks out the front doors of the mansion and takes a seat on the porch. It wasn't really raining right now, it was just windy and the occasional thunder and lighting could be seen.
I sat beside Masky as he lit up a cigarette and I looked out with boredom at the woods. Masky slightly glanced at me and murmured, "Is there uh...something you needed from me?"
"I'm just trying to avoid being social again, just like you."
Masky chuckled at this and his gaze flicked off to the woods. We sit there in silence just watching the sky grow darker and the occasional lighting up of the clouds from lighting.
I eventually just casually lean against Masky cause I'm bored, which makes him almost retaliate, but he surprisingly calms himself and sighs, allowing me to stay. "Hey Mom," I mumbled, "ever wonder what we would be like in an alternate universe of some sort? Like...if we were all more like cold bloodthirsty killers and less like...a group of rowdy depressed edgelords?"
Masky scoffed, "Well firstly, please don't call me 'Mom', I already told you I'm not the 'Mom' of the proxies. Secondly....yes, I often wonder what we would be like if we were less of a joke than we are now."
I know it was pretty random of a question but sometimes with the way things were at the manor; all the chaos and madness that went on often made me forget that we were killers and not just a reality TV show where a bunch of vastly different psychopaths live under the same roof and try to survive with one another.
Sometimes...sometimes I wished I could see what that was like...a reality where we aren't a bunch of jokes, like Masky said....
I was about to ask Masky about how he thought we should be like when the front doors suddenly blew open from behind us and we see Kagekao dash forwards, Sally Williams flailing behind him stuck in the grasp of his hand. "I don't want to play outside Kagdkao!!! Leave me alone!!!" Sally screamed as the two bolted into the woods. "Come on, its fun Sally-chan! Kekekeke!"
Both me and Masky jumped up from where we sat and we both glanced at each other with a shared nod before dashing after the two.
"Let the girl alone, you stupid jester!" Masky sneered, gaining up on Kagekao as the four of us ran through the darkened woods. "E!!!??? Did you just call me stupid?? O-K Mask-san, it's on!" Kagekao snapped, suddenly pulling Sally onto his back and running at top speed through the woods.
"That fucking- Walker! Try and find a way around and block him off! I'll gain on him from behind!" Masky ordered me. "Will do!" I respond before taking a turn and heading in a different direction.
'Why is Kagekao being so annoying so often nowadays...' I think to myself as I tried to cut my way ahead of the trickster. 'I wonder what he would be like if he were more serious as a killer...or at least not this dumb...'
I see Kagekao start turning in my direction and grin, making myself hidden not to far away from some bushes so I could come and jump him when he got close.

When the trickster gets close enough however, the most unthinkable, unlucky thing that could possibly happen to someone -happened to me.
I suddenly feel something hot pierce my back and then what feels like a wave of electricity surges through my body.
I don't scream but my body goes directly into seizure mode and my eyesight almost immediately gives way to darkness. I feel my body drop to my knees and the shock of whatever hit me courses through my veins.
The last thing I hear besides the sounds of my name being called was an unknown voice I've never heard before.
Curious, are you? Why not see for yourself? Come and see what we're like...
-
When I wake up again, I see that I'm still outside in the middle of the woods.
My body feels weird, but I'm still able to slowly pull myself up to my feet and stand. I rub my head, feeling a slight headache coming on and look around myself.
"Masky...? Kagekao?" I mumble, wondering how long I was even out and what even happened to me, firstly. I felt minor jolts of electricity run through my body and I uncontrollably fidgeted every few seconds.
Did I really just get struck by lightning? The luck...
I grumble to myself as I start dragging myself in direction of the mansion, wondering why Masky nor Kagekao even bothered to help me out. Hopefully at least, Masky got Sally back and was able to carry her home.
When I reach the mansion, the first thing I notice is that the place seems...smaller? I tilt my head in confusion as I notice the mansion seems like it had shrunk in size. Maybe the strike scrambled my brain and things are gonna be off for a while...
I walk up the doors and try them, but it seems like the doors are locked. I'm about to knock until I hear clear sounds of footsteps coming from one of the windows and I walk over to the side, thinking I'll just climb in through the window.
I'm able to get most of my leg in through the window until I very suddenly get a very odd, sinister feeling coming from simply touching the ground and my gut is telling me to back out. I quickly pull out and duck at the window, examining the inside of the mansion throughly.
I notice that inside looks vastly different for some reason; the living room was missing the huge couch that seats all of us, the huge TV, the coffee table, and basically all decorations the mansion has was gone. At the center of the living room there was now a huge table that I've never seen before with a bunch of papers, blueprints, broken bottles, newspapers, bloody weapons, cigarettes, and more stuff.
The familiar stained, messy carpets of the mansion was replaced with old wooden floorboards that seemed like they creaked with every step of you were to step on them. The walls were ripped up with claw marks and slashes almost everywhere and a few huge holes here and there.
"What. The HECK. happened while I was gone??" I mumble to myself, stuck in disbelief at what I was seeing before me. "Was I dead or something? Did Slenders decide to renovate? I don't think Spender would allow this, looks like a huge downgrade..."
I'm cut off from my thoughts when I hear the sound of heavy footsteps coming from the inside again and I lower myself a bit more, only high enough for my eyes to see what was going on.
I spot the proxies-specifically Kate, Toby, and Rogue entering into the living room in a very fast paced manner. They are all without their masks and facial gear, but the expressions on their faces seemed really unusually off.
The proxies say nothing as they all gathered around the huge table with the things on it the center of the living room. I recognize Rouge who starts grabbing what looks like their masks off the table and she passes Kate's mask to Kate and Toby's gear to Toby. They all then place their gear on their faces and Rogue starts shuffling through the items on the table.
I hear more footsteps and turn seeing Hoodie appearing from a hallway, quiet in the same manner that the first three entered. He walks up to the table and begins conversing with the other proxies.
"Where's the instructions The Operator has left for us?"
"Searching for it sir."
"You should've had it ready before I got here, useless scum. Are you trying to disappoint The Operator?"
"..."
I notice Kate began twitching and shifting and growling like a wild animal. Toby turns to Kate and scoffs lowly, "There must be a human here, the d-dogs acting weird again."
Kate's head cracked to the side to face Toby, "Call me a dog again you son of a bitch and I'll rip your spine out of your body."
Toby immediately launched his fist at Kate and she caught it before it smashed her face, then two start beating the actual living hell out of each other.
Suddenly a loud static explodes in the area, causing specifically Toby and Kate to start panicking and grabbing their heads, screaming in pain. "Cut out the nonsense you fools before The Operator does away with you both. We aren't here to argue. We are to do His deeds. Your sole purpose of living..." Rogue growled.
The static stopped and the two immediately ceased fighting, lowering their heads. Kate, however, kept growling and fidgeting and I was starting to wonder if it was because she could sense me...
Hoodie picks up a file and tosses it at Rogue, "The Operator requests for us to interrogate twenty-six year old Tim Wright again today. He wants a new vessel to work for him but if we fail to convert him again we have been ordered to kill him."
All proxies nod their heads at this, and my eyes widen.
"The Hood. What do we do about the MIA proxy, The Walker?" Rogue asks cautiously. Hoodie turns to Rogue and growled, "If any of you spot the rogue subject you are to kill them on . The Operator's specific orders."
"Sir." All of the proxies respond.
Oi. What the hell? What did I do??! What's even happening her-oh...no...
I have the exact idea of what situation I seem to be in but I once again stop thinking when I see Hoodie grab a pistol off of the table and stalk over to what looks to be a closet on the far side of the living room.
He rips open the door and I see a man all tied up and screaming helplessly behind binds on his mouth. Hoodie grabbed this man and dragged him out of the closest as the man struggled. Upon getting a closer look, the man ...that man is Masky...?
Hoodie nods his head at the proxies and they all immediately snatch their weapons up off the table. Hoodie than drags a tied up Masky behind him and out of the mansion doors with Toby, Kate, and Rogue following close behind.
I watch dumbfounded as who I think is Masky was crying behind the bandages on his mouth and trying to get loose from the ropes, but it was no use as the strong proxies dragged him away against his will.
"Tim...Wright...?"
I shake my head, trying to grasp ahold of all that was going on but this was admittedly all pretty scary, the things I was hearing.
Who is this "The Operator" guy, is that Slenders? What are they doing to Masky? Why am I ordered to be killed???
I make sure no one is around to watch me before I start pulling myself through the window again, quietly landing on the other side. I wondered if any of the other Creepypastas knew about this...or could possibly tell me what's going on but something inside of me doubted that a whole lot.
I creep my way upstairs to where all of our rooms would expectantly be except when I get there, I'm met with many less doors than what is usually there. Most of the doors were open, but on the insides were empty with scratched up bloody walls and creaky, broken up floors.
"What...happened to everyone..." I murmured, a grossly tense feeling starting to wash over me. One of the rooms I walk by, I look in and actually spot someone-Bloody Painter!
I start to walk in, but that's when I notice that he's curled up in the far corner of his room, surrounded by huge sheets of paper all covered in random splotches of blood. His hands seemed to be cuffed together for some reason, and he's rocking himself back and forth while muttering to himself.
"Bloody Painter," I whisper-yell at him, and I see his head slightly turn in my direction. "What's going on...?"
"I-Is it time yet...? Does I-It want me again? Is It coming for me?" He shuttered, slowly holding out his cuffed hands, "or did It send you...It sent you to torture me, didn't it..."
I slowly shake my head, "I don't understand what you mean? What are you talking about-why are you handcuffed and why does the mansion look like this?"
Painter seemed to stifle a laugh at this and then growled, "you're just here t-t-to mock me, aren't you??? That Creature allows y-you and those others to roam free but It allows you all to torture me! Get....g-get out..."
I step forwards, attempting to get close to him so I could maybe get him out of the handcuffs, "I'm not here to torture you, jeez, I'm your friend? Tell me what's going on!"
Painter suddenly lowers his hands to the ground, swiping a knife off the floor with his chained hands and he throws his body forwards at me to the best of his ability, swiping at my leg with the knife and splitting my flesh open with the one slash.
"Get out get out get out! Leave me alone....LEAVE ME ALONE!!" He screamed at me, his voice sounding absolutely manic.
I grit my teeth as I feel the heavy sting of the wound on my leg and quickly stagger backwards out of the room, distancing myself from Painter. I grab the door and shut it, then quickly lower myself to the ground to try and catch my breath.
My mind was racing with so many emotions that I could barely keep control of myself. I was so lost, completely confused and growing more and more afraid of what was happening here. It felt like the exact thing I was wondering about earlier was coming to pass for real.
"No, this can't be real. Please don't be, I hate this..." I grimace as I accidentally shift my leg in an awkward position, causing the wound to sting more and blood flowed heavily onto the ground. I quickly rip off some fabric of my clothes and use enough to wrap tightly around the cut-this will have to hold for now till I can somehow get actual help.
I decide to start moving again, thinking to maybe find someone else to get through to when I began to hear scratching sounds coming from behind me.
My head jolts around quickly and I turn seeing...Kagekao....crawling out of one of the empty rooms, his head crooked in a very unnatural direction. His head shifts in a disturbing manor and it seems his sights are on me. His mask erases its features on the white side and a dark, creepy grin forms on the black side.
"Haji.. Haji. Boku wa anata no kao o mochido minakereba naranainara, watashi ha anata o korosudeshou....kekekekekekeke!
After that, he bursts into maniacal laughter and crawled up the wall and headed to the first floor of the mansion from the ceiling.
"Holy hell, Kagekao...." I tremble,
watching as he disappeared. Just when I thought I could get a breather from all this 'Creepypasta', I notice what looks like the figure of Sally materializing at the end of the hallway. She had a more ghastly appearance than normal, and she seemed to be staring at me with a scared, distraught expression.
"Sally?" I exclaimed, slowly pulling myself up off the ground and starting to limp over to her, using the walls to help guide me along.
As soon as I got close to her though, the ghost girl started screaming at the top of her lungs; the scream was so horrific and ear piercing that it felt as if my brain nearly melted from the sound and I immediately grabbed my ears, clenching my teeth together as I stumbled back from her.
She suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind me again, her voice soft yet cold. "Go away from me. Don't hurt me..." She hissed. "I don't want to play with you...no one here is my friend....."
Her voice trailed away and I saw that she had disappeared again. At that point, I think I've seen enough. If this was my new reality, I'd rather find my place back in the outside world, fuck this.
I turn and start limping for the steps, desperate to find my way out of the mansion without another run-in with another pasta. When I get to the bottom, I see Kagekao nearby, laughing and smashing wine bottles at the destroyed walls. I avoid him and dart behind a nearby broken up counter that would keep me hidden from his view. I look around and notice that this was where the kitchen would have been, but now it's just an empty space with counters and soiled, brown carpet.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me.
