drove slowly around icy cliff faces, attempting to find a cave. The trucks heating was working, for now, but the fuel gauge was beginning to droop, and Louis didn't want to be stranded with no heat in this god forsaken mountain!.
Louis heaved a sigh, which caught in his throat as he finally spotted a nice deep cave to hide in.
He parked the truck and for the first time in the past few days, actually relaxed.
His eyes drooped with weariness, his body ached all over. The truck was toasty and warm.
Louis reclined in Harry's chair and shut his eyes. Just a quick nap.
"...ouis?...Louis?...LOUIS!"
Louis startled awake, sitting up suddenly.
Hissing in pain, he doubled over, clutching his cursed injured ribs which seemed to never catch a break.
"Wha..?" He slurred, blinking away sleep.
It was dark in the cave now and Louis scolded himself for sleeping so long.
"Louis! Thank goodness! You weren't answering and I was worried... Oh never mind"
It was Simon, speaking urgently into his com.
"The rest of the band has disappeared! I fear they have come after you!"
Louis tensed. "How long have they been gone?" He asked with dread.
"About an hour. I'm sorry Louis, I didn't even notice! I have been too busy working on a cure"
"It's alright Simon. Uh, how is that going by the way?" Louis asked hesitantly, afraid of his answer.
He glanced outside the trucks window. He didn't see anything unusual.
"My researched has proven useful Louis and I am confident that I have almost come up with a cure."
"I found some chemical in your blood which matches to a poisonous flower that came up indatabase.
"The database stated that the flowers pollen, which when inhaled, can cause severe mood change, most commonly, extreme agitation and rage . From what I gather, you were unaffected, but acted as a carrier for everyone else in the band. Whenever you were touched, traces of the chemical, which you are covered in, passed on to the band. It is said to be extremely painful when spread and would explain why you were always feeling your 'electric shocks'. "

Louis let his head fall back against his head rest, relieved that Simon was making progress.
"So what's left to do?" Louis asked eagerly
I have yet to test it, but I fear there is too little time, and the only test subjects available is yourself and the rest of the band"
Louis nodded, "Well, I'll come back. You can test it on me. I want this ordeal to be over"
Suddenly, Louis door was wrenched open and hands were pulling him out of the car.
They had found him.
