Authors Note:

So in this chapter and the up coming chapters I will be introducing some new characters in the book so here are the couples that will appear in this chapter: Engin and Piril they have been dating for a year now, Melo and Seifi have been dating for two months, and Ceren and Ferit have been dating for a week now.

It has been a week since Eda and Serkan last talked they both buried themselves in work to try to forget each other but based on the way everyone else sees them they are miserable on the inside and they are on the verge of having a break down. Everyone else was busy with their life and caught up in work. Ferit's hotels were partnering up with Art Life for a new project, Ceren was the lawyer in charge of the legal part. Aydan, Serkan's mother decided to invite them all to her charity event to celebrate their new project she and Seifi were organizing it and decided to invite Eda and Melo as well. No one knew about what happened between Eda and Serkan, except Aydan could sense pain in Serkan's eyes and voice whenever he talked. Apparently he didn't know that Eda ignoring him would break his heart this much. Eda had finally got what she had wished for the day he said he was leaving for London, except neither of them was happy with the results.

The event was very fancy there were many people there mainly the other people in this organization and their relatives. Serkan, Engin, Piril, Ferit, and Ceren were all standing in the far corner of the event trying to be away from everyone and celebrate on their own. The party was pretty uneventful for these five, they thought it was another boring party they are going to attend. They all had made a plan to celebrate their partnership after Aydan's event. Everything was going smoothly until Eda, Melo, and Seifi entered the room.

Everything was fine until I saw her enter the room. Right when I saw her my heart stopped and I just froze there staring at her. She probably thought I looked like a fool but I could care less right now she looked stunning in her blue one shoulder dress. He was too busy in thought that he didn't hear her talk to him until Engin tapped him on the shoulder and said "Abi, are you ok?" and I could only reply with a nod still unable to gather my words. After talking with everyone for a while I got bored and thought about going to take a walk until I thought, if I ask her to join me on my walk will she come?, Is she still mad at me? I don't care if she doesn't want to I will make sure to talk to her tonight and tell her how I truly feel about her, no more fooling around I'm done. I went to stand next to her looking at the garden through the window, she didn't seem to bothered when I was next to her so I decided to take my chance and ask her "Hey...umm...so... do you wanna take a walk around the garden and just like talk for a bit" I tried to hide my nervousness as much as I can when asking her but I just couldn't I was afraid of her rejecting me and losing the last piece of hope I have of ever changing from my cold robotic self. She took me out of my trance when she said "Sure the garden looks beautiful". I smiled so hard at her that my dimples appeared. I had never smiled like that with anyone else and I was sure that she was the only one I would ever smile like that with.

I was shocked when I saw him there at the event I knew it was his mother's event but I didn't think he would be back this fast. I was so confused and busy thinking What is he doing here again? didn't he say he will leave for two months why is he back now? Why do I feel like I just want to go and hug him like nothing happened. My thoughts stopped when Melo started calling me worried that something happened. I said that I was fine and we started walking towards Serkan and Ferit's table, we all talked for a while I got a little bored and wanted to get some fresh air I went to stand in front of the window overlooking the garden. I just stared out getting some ideas for a new project I was starting with Kaan. I froze a little when Serkan came, I didn't know what to say or do when he asked to walk in the garden I wanted to say no and leave but I decided that we needed to figure things out between us so I agreed. We were walking in silence for the first couple of minutes until I decided to break the silence and ask him something that has been going through my head since I first saw him today. I stopped and then he stopped standing in front of me, I heard him ask with a worried voice "Eda, are you ok?". I replied "yeah, I'm fine... can I umm ask you something" a little nervous for what might happen. He said to ask whatever I want if it will make me feel better. I took a deep breath and said "Why are you back, I mean didn't you say you will be in London for two months what are you doing here right now". I scanned his face trying to find an answer but I got nothing. He took a deep breath and said "Because I missed you Eda Yildiz, every night in London I felt more and more pain and anger for leaving you and for sending you that stupid message when all I wanted was to take you with me. Every minute without you made me feel like I was dying because the truth is... I have fallen madly in love with you Eda Yildiz". Right then and there my heart stopped and I just froze trying to figure out what he had just said.

It has been five minutes now since I confessed to her she still hasn't said anything we stood there in silence until I saw her moving closer and leaning to whisper in my ear "I have been in love with you for years Serkan, I never got the courage to say it until now. You have always been the person that I was waiting for all these years, you are the only person that I can ever love. Nothing can replace you no matter how hard I tried" her words sent shivers down my spine and I could have sworn my heart had done summersaults at that moment. I have never felt this happier in my life. Without thinking I wrapped my hands around her waist and pulled her in for a tight hug, I could smell her beautiful flower perfume that just filled my up inside while her hands were playing with my hair. We both forgot that we were in the garden of my mother's event. All we wanted to do was spend some time together and figure out everything between us. Right when she turned to go back inside I grabbed her hand and we entered the room with our fingers entwined while everyone gasped. All of our friends and my mother were happy and saying congratulations. None of the words hit my heart as deep as when Melo came up to say to me "Ah you both are so romantic, I love you enişte" The word enişte filled me up on the inside when the event ended we all went out to celebrate together we had so much fun and all I could think about was how finally destiny has pulled us together. I didn't care about the future, all I cared about was spending every moment I can get with her right now.

After spending the night celebrating Serkan went to take Eda home since Ferit had to go back to the hotel since a problem occurred. She told him to come inside the house to drink some coffee he happily agreed. They watched a movie and cuddled on the couch until they both dozed off still holding each other's hands while Eda's head rested on Serkan's chest and his was tilted to the side leaning his head on top of her's. Everyone else had gone home, Ferit was still at the hotel trying to solve the issue someone had hacked the security cameras and came into the hotel they deleted most of the footage from that day. He was so caught up in work that he hadn't realized the sun was up, he was so tired that he couldn't focus. When he was rewatching the final footage left on camera he was shocked to see who was there.

I woke up in the morning finding myself alone on the couch, I was about to think that what I had was a dream until I saw a rose with a note attached at the coffee table in front of me. I smiled knowing that Serkan was the one who wrote it. I picked up the note to read it "Fairy Girl, good morning, I'm sorry I wasn't here when you woke up some things happened and I had to go to work but I promise to make it up to you, but for now have your lovely breakfast and I will see you in a couple of hours, Love you, Serkan". She knew Serkan wasn't the type of person to do any of these things and the fact that he did it for her made her extra happy that morning. She ate her breakfast and got ready to go to her University it was just a couple more months till she graduated. On her way to the University she called Serkan to thank him, "Good morning beautiful, I missed you", she blushed as she heard his words, "Good morning love, I missed you too, even if I was a little upset that you weren't there this morning", "I'm sorry I know I should have at least woke you up but you looked so peaceful while sleeping something I rarely see so I thought I should leave you a little bit", I chuckled at his words, "It's not a problem but you have to make it up to me somehow, anyways I called to say thank you for the lovely rose and breakfast", "Anytime my life", we kept talking for over 30 minutes even when I went to the University we talked until I had to go to my lecture and he had to get back to work. Talking to him was the best part of my day.

Throughout the rest of the day everyone was busy with their work that they didn't have any time to meet up. Serkan and Eda talked on the phone almost everyday. They both felt the relaxed and happy when they were around each other. Ferit had decided to tell Eda about what happened the other day at the hotel to get her opinion on what he should do. Least to say Eda was shocked and terrified at what Ferit had just said especially when he told her who he thought he saw. She couldn't believe it but Ferit as always reassured her that everything will be ok and they will get through it together just like they did all the time. She felt a little calmer after Ferit's words and calmed down a little. She ignored a couple of Serkan's calls until she got her head strait and figured everything out, when she answered she could hear the worry in his voice she decided to not tell him anything about what Ferit had said and just lied and said that she was asleep because she was a little tired and didn't hear her phone. Luckily for her Serkan believed her and just said that he was starting to worry when she didn't answer she assured him that everything was fine and hanged up. She started getting overwhelmed by her thoughts what did that person want from them? Should she just tell Serkan the truth?. She just took a deep breath and decided to go sketch something. Now will her lie get exposed or will she be able to hide it?
