"PHIL!" Technoblade shouted, "PHIL!"
"WHERE WERE YOU MATE?" Phil said worried as he had been looking for Techno for an hour, "I WAS WORRIED SICK."
"Phil calm down it was only an hour."
"WHERE WERE YOU THOUGH?!?"
"I don't know."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW?!?" screamed Phil.
"DID YOU FIND HIM PHIL? WHERE WAS HE?" Ranboo shouted running into the house.
"HE DOESN'T KNOW," shouted Phil again.
"both of you calm down, I'm ok but he isn't, we need to help him," Said Technoblade quickly.
All Techno could think about was Ranbutler, he had to help him, he wanted to help him but why?
Ranbutler had done nothing to help him and Techno didn't owe him anything but something inside Techno was telling him he should help Ranbutler.
Techno liked Ranbutler and Ranbutler needs saving.
"What do you mean we need to help 'him', who is 'him'?" Phil asked confused.
Should Techno tell them?
Phil and Ranboo are his friends, Ranbutler probably didn't have friends and Techno needs all the help he can get.
"I was in this weird room with this person," Techno explained.
"Who?" Ranboo asked.
"I don't know but he looks like you but he's a butler."
"A butler?" Phil asked, "Who's butler?"
"I don't know but whoever it is sounds like a dick."
"What do you want us to do about it though?" Ranboo asked.
In truth Techno didn't know what they should do or what they can do but he was determined to find a way, a way to help.
"I don't know," Techno said sorrowfully. "But we need to help him."
"Ok well maybe we should go to the library see if we can find anything," Phil said.

They wanted to help, they actually wanted to help.
Techno smiled broadly and said "good idea."
Techno sat down in his bed after 5 hours of searching. They had found nothing.
Ranboo had already left so it was just him and Phil.
Phil sat down next to Techno putting a comforting arm around him.
"Don't worry mate we will find something."
"I hope your right," said Techno.
"Why are you so intent on helping this Ranbutler person? You have only met him once," asked Phil carefully.
"You didn't see or hear him Phil, he had bruises and cuts all over his face from the man he works for and the things he has been taught."
"What has he been taught?"
"He asked me how many words he could use, Phil people shouldn't need to ask that."
Techno remembered his meeting with Ranbutler so clearly, he remembered every detail and the more he thought about it the more sorry he felt for Ranbutler.
"He didn't even have a name," Techno said looking down at the floor.
"What do you mean he didn't have a name, everyone has a name," Phil stated surprised.
"Not him, according to whoever he works for 'commoners don't deserve names, they are hardly people' that's what he said anyways."
"That's just not right," Phil said also looking at the ground. "I see why you want to help him so bad now."
Techno smiled at this, Phil understands. He thought to himself how lucky he is to have a friend like Phil, who he can trust and share things with, and how Ranbutler didn't.

A Portal Fantasy Comedy Poem
Mix an adolescent shepherd boy in love with a girl who wants to meet existentialists, a Viscount in need of an adventure, and a bland psychic. Add in a flippant god. Put them in a land made up of the after-lives of various different cultures. Stir gently. Sprinkle in some random Midgard Serpent, Genghis Khan, Scheherazade, and a cussing mocking bird. Fry lightly. Season to taste and serve with desired garnishes. Bon apetit! A comic fantasy poetic epic, filled with misfits, slapstick routines, light romance, people shouting out the names of their battle skills before using them, old philosopher dudes running around naked, a very serious lamb, demonic knitting, battery operated magic swords and even more traumatising stuff! I experimented with different styles in the beginning and finally settled on an ABABBCBC rhyme scheme (Give me your 0.5s. Gimme, gimme, gimme. I'm collecting them, seriously)

Midnight Origins: Arrival
On a lush planet known as Bhar, Verun is now the leading nation in the development of the rivaled schools of Magic and Science. Having brought forth an era of peace and prosperity for themselves through the development of Magitech, The High council was eager to spread their knowledge and beliefs to the furthest reaches of the continent, with the goal of ending senseless conflicts and prioritizing advancements in Magitech and improving the quality of life. This ambition, however, is not without opposition. Most followers side with one school or another, believing it is superior in nature. This conflict dates back to the very beginning of civilization itself, where it is believed by both sides that their gods descended from the heavens, bestowing upon them the knowledge that would bring the world into a new age. And though some took great interest in their differences, others would seek to convert each other through any means necessary. That being the case, The High council, leaders of Verun, had made the necessary preparations to handle threats and attempt diplomacy between the remaining opposers. Talented volunteers were hand chosen to be among the military, tasked with protecting the nation from both internal and external threats. And although non-biological creations have improved quality of life, they are not yet capable of replacing the military. The necessary research and development for such a thing was thought to be decades away, until Councilman Eranor encountered an anomaly in his facility…
