《Forced: Kidnapped by a Vampire Master (Book One)》Chapter 21

I wasn't really paying any attention to where my feet were taking me until I ended up in the kitchen. I guess my stomach was controlling my movement. Luckily no one was in there. It was still working hours and the kitchen staff were more than likely helping set up in the main room for Alex's party that was fast approaching.
Grabbing the basic things to make a sandwich, I sat down at the table and started to eat.
I WOULDN'T let myself get all mixed up in what I had just seen. Alexander Tavish wasn't worth it. He wasn't worth anything.
Just as the thought passed through my mind, the door opened . . . and Cinders walked in. I couldn't even look at her.
"Rose?" I ignored her, "Rose, please talk to me."
Without saying a word, I stood up, put my plate in the sink and left.
I know it wasn't her fault. She wouldn't have had a choice in the matter, but, right now I DIDN'T want to see her or talk to her.
So, once again, I found myself wandering around the house. Nothing to do, nowhere to go. And then it dawned on me . . . I haven't really explored the outside yet. Not properly.
I sat down on a grassy hill about 5 minutes from the house, but it was still in view. Any hopes I had of finding a way out of here and get home were ripped away when I realized, looking out over the gardens, it was just miles and miles of fields and woods. There was nothing around and by the looks of it, the only way in or out was down a stony driveway that ran through the gardens and disappeared into the dark trees.
Sighing, I laid back and closed my eyes. It had gotten really sunny and quite warm. Surprisingly. Too bad the rumor of 'vampires can't come out in the daytime' was bull.

"Well, that's not a very nice thought." My body froze when I heard Alex's voice, but I kept my eyes closed.
"Go away." I heard him sit down next to me.
"I'm sorry you saw that."
"Piss off." He let out a big, angry sigh but kept his mouth shut. When I felt his hand brush against mine, I stood up and began to walk away.
"Rose, I'll just chase you, you know there's no point in running." I didn't actually think about running, but he was right, what was the point. None-the-less, my walking began to quicken . . . and so did his.
"Alex, leave me alone!" That's when I started running, not to run away . . . just to get away from him, I didn't want to see him. Or speak to him.
I managed to hit the woods and suddenly became covered under the trees, the sunlight blocked and darkness took over. I couldn't hear him following me so I stopped.
Suddenly, something pushed me against a tree. Looking up, I was surprised to see Kane was the one who had a grip on me, smiling as he pinned me to the trunk.
"Shhh." As he said that, I saw Alex walk past. Groaning in defeat, he turned around and headed back towards the house.

Sand (Hiatus-2/01/18)
‘If you can survive the trials of treading a million nails, would you still go? If you are willing to encounter death at every step, dreading the next, are you still willing to enter? If you leave and experience the trials further still, would you do so? If you find yourself being pursued by everyone and everything, chasing you down to the edge of the cliff, would you jump to certain death or fight back and be labeled as a monster? You can choose whether or not you want to change your life right at this doorstep. If you do say no, then nothing will happen to you. If you say yes, then your life will change. Succeeding will bring you great power. And if you fail, then you will be enslaved within Oblivion for eternity. What is your answer?’ Tus heard the ancient voice that sounded like sandpaper as he stared at the altar with the land and sky frozen in motion. The words repeated themselves over and over again, forcing him to answer without the chance of taking it back. Armed with a borrowed sword and cheap armor that looked like wood, he said aloud without hesitation, “Yes!” The altar hummed, a green light flickered in the surroundings, and Tus ceased to exist.

Y/n was someone the league of villains held hostage for a long time. No one noticed her disappearance since she was deemed quirkless. But the doctors were very mistaken. ~A Wattys and Fiction Award winner*A lion does not need an invitation from a lamb. That is not the way of the predator. Predators take what they want, when they want it, however they please. And this belief that I am, that evil is, enslaved by the dark night is humorous to say the least. Why would any creator make their pupil inept of withstanding the lighted world when this planet is covered in daylight for half of its life span? No, our Maker did not instill such restrictions for, up here on these earthly lands, we are the gods of prey. ~ Tristan There is only one rule vampires must follow--Bite Hard. It is forbidden for humans to know vampires exist so you can imagine Tristan Darkos's surprise when he finds one that knows what he is. He can tell by the tremble of her body, the thump-thump of her pulse, and her dilated pupils. He's going to have to finish what some other vampire started. The problem is when Tristan gets close to this human his blood turns to fire and the thirst that burns in his throat that should spell her doom twists until he's consumed by another need--one that is evocative, primitive, and...wrong.If Tristan doesn't figure out the mystery that is Kinley Shea Rylan, it is certain whatever dark force her honey blood is summoning forth will be the end of him and, possibly, the end of the world as we know it. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Author note: - This is an original work with my take on Vampires.
