I stayed locked in the room with Ivory trying to avoid the pending discussion between I and Jared...I thought that after resenting him so much, I would at least not feel so strongly for him...while he followed me yesterday, he looked so miserable..I just wanted to hold him but our relationship keep hitting the rock ..like taking a step forward and taking five steps backward..

At least my baby girl had stopped crying .. my beautiful princess.... finally deciding to brave it up...I went to get something to eat, not bothering wearing the coat Janzy gave me...on reaching there I bumped into Nate who was so surprised to see me..."Luna" he bowed .."thank the goddess you came back ... Jared almost made the mistake of stepping down" he said with a smile before his eyes met Ivory...

" Luna.. why are you with Amelia's baby?" He asked... " Ivory is my baby and I'm Amelia" I explain...his mouth was hanging open... " How did you do that..I mean change face"... Inhaling deeply "it's a long story" I said trying to heat up the leftover chicken soup... making himself comfortable in one of the kitchen stools, he said "how lucky am I that I just happen to have nothing doing" he said with a smirk.

After spending most of the morning explaining how I was able to change my face to Nate, it was finally noon and I realized that the pack house was more quiet than it normally is.... Stepping out of my room with Ivory, I decided to take a walk in the garden ....however before I could make it quiet past the hallway I came face-to-face with Jared....

Sincerely, I felt my heart skip .... even upon all this heartbreak I still love this man, even when he wasn't worthy of it ..... trying to make my way around him he took hold of my hands...."please Ariely ..this time give me a chance to explain myself...I know you don't trust or believe me anymore but still....just let me show you something first" he begged..his eyes were sad... For the first time after getting my identity as Ariel again I looked at him thoroughly he had lost a lot of weight and he just looked so pitiful..

"Please Ariely" he wisphered...how could I say no to him... taking my hands out of his ...I gave him a reluctant okay and followed him...

I could feel his stare burn into my face as I made it my mission to avoid his eyes..." Can I hold Ivory please" he said..his voice so low it drew my gaze to meet his.. it came to me that he had never touched his child even for once.. nodding immediately.."of course" I said handing her to him....as he took her into his arms he smiled for the first time since I had seen him again...hugging her close to his heart with tenderness..I saw a tear slip from his eyes and I felt my eyes water also.

My heart warmed and broke at the same time "Jared" I whispered and he looked up at me..his eyes widened as if he was so surprised that I reached out first to make conversation with him.... Looking away I began to speak "all this time I've been trying to find the truth in all the ways I can think of ....but I never found it and I'm finally ready to hear from you... I want you to tell me the truth about what I heard that night ...about what happened"

" Do you really mean that Ariely?" he asked looking hopeful...I nodded my head..yes... taking my hand into his.."come" he said as he took me towards his office.
