"Anton!" Gabriel cried. "I've come to kill you!"
Gabriel's blood was boiling as he busted through yet another door. Whoever theses guards were, seemed to fear him. He could see the terror in their eyes. They kept shooting at him, but the bullet holes seemed to heal upon impact. However, every time one pierced his flesh, he would roar in anger over the sharp annoying pain. Apparently when the guards realized that their guns had little to no effect on him, they would run away in fear.
Cowards! He thought.
With what little patience he had left, he grabbed one of the guards by the neck. As his anger continued to surge, he slammed the guard against the wall. Gabriel stared down the man with whom he held in his grasp. For a person who was trained to be in the mafia, this one had an extreme look of terror in upon his face.
"WHERE'S ANTON!" Gabriel roared.
"He-he's down the h-hall." The man stuttered. "In-in the operating room."
"Take me to him!" Gabriel growled. He then let the man go, and shove then man in front of him. The worthless minion continued to seemingly tremble within Gabriel's presence. He did not reply o the angry gargoyle, but started to lead Gabriel down a long hallway. Eventually they came upon a set of swinging double doors.
"H-he's in there." The cowering excuse for man told him, as the fear could still be seen his in eyes.
"I'm not a fool!" Gabriel growled. "You go first!" He then picked the man up, and threw him into the double doors. The man screamed as the doors flew open. As Gabriel walked in he saw two operating tables, ten armed guards, and Anton himself. But sitting in back of the room was Cali, Rosy, and Vincent. The three of them all had a look of surprise, as he busted through the doors. Anton, however had a domineering smirk upon his face.
"Brother dear!" Anton exclaimed. "I'm impressed, and humbled by your grand entrance!"
"Cut the bullshit!" Gabriel cried out in anger. "Release them all, at once, and maybe I will spare your life!"
Anton looked at him, and laughed. "You still act as though you are the one in charge. In case you haven't noticed, I'm the one with all of the power."
"What do you want?" Gabriel asked in disgust.
"What has always belonged to me." Anton declared. "My birthright, and my empire."
"I'm sorry for how father treated you." Gabriel sighed. "But I can make this right. Let them go, and Rosy and I will gladly welcome you as a member of our family. I will not only acknowledge you as my brother, but I will gladly give you the throne."

"I'm afraid it's not that simple." Anton replied. "See, I want much more than that. The way I see, I should have been born a gargoyle. And neither you nor Rosalina should have even ever existed. The only reason you even do exist, is because my mother died. I was the one who killed her, and our father married that cheap copy that spawned the two of you. I want my kingdom, I want my lineage, and I want the siren from the petrol station. You see brother, you weren't the only one who fell under her spell that day."
"It's impossible for you to become a gargoyle." Gabriel replied. "You lost your gargoyle genes in your mother's womb. And as for Calliope, I'm guessing she isn't going to have much interest in you for abducting her, or Rosy."
"Well, I know she no longer has much interest in you." Anton said as he flashed a wicked smile. "I have seen to that."
"What are you talking about?" Gabriel asked as he was taken aback by Anton's statement.
"You see brother dear." Anton chuckled. "I know a lot about gargoyles, because our dear father kept notes. Those notes were left for you. As his right hand man, it was my duty to share them with you. I was supposed to do that, when you took over after his death. However, I never showed them to you. That is why I know a lot more about them than you do."
"Well you're fired." Gabriel sneered. "Happy?" Anton however, just continued to laugh.
"You always were the quite the charmer." Anton smirked. "But you see, gargoyles can be very protective. In fact in some cases it could lead to their downfall. They are natural protectors, especially to those they love. So every time your conscience got the best of you, and you had decided to just let Carl Jenkins rot in jail, I kept reminding you how he hurt Cali. I fueled your anger, because I knew if I continued to do that, you would want to kill him with your bare hands. And I also knew that her seeing you act as the cold blooded killer, that you truly are, would kill her love for you."
"Oh my god!" Cried Cali.
"You sick mother fucker!" Gabriel exclaimed. He started to charge Anton. But before he could get near him, Anton turned around, pulled out a gun, and pointed it at Rosy.
"Back off, brother!" Anton ordered, as he turned his had back to face Gabriel. "Or I swear, I'll kill her!"

"She's your sister!" Gabriel cried, as he began to seethe with even more rage.
"And you're my brother!" Shouted Anton. "And I don't give a damn about either one of you! I have you right where I want you. And you're going to give me what I want! If you don't, I'm going to start killing my hostages—starting with Rosy. Then the old man, and finally the very siren that is carrying your daughter. And before you point out that I want the siren just as much as you do, let me put it to you this way. If I can't have her, no one can! I may die, and end up in hell, trying to fight you for her. But if I have to, I'll drag her down with me!"
"What—do—you—want?" Gabriel asked as he could feel the rage burning within him.
"I already told you." Replied Anton with a sarcastic smile. "Your love, dear brother. I literally want you to give me your heart."
"What?" Cried Gabriel as he became horrified. "Are you completely insane?"
"As I just told you." Anton calmly answered him in an eerie tone. "I have read all of father's notes on gargoyles. Just as a gargoyle can take a male human's form, by eating the beating heart of said human male, a human male can do the same. All I have to do, is eat your beating heart."
"You sick freak!" Rosy exclaimed.
"Shut up Bitch!" One of the guards shouted. He was about to hit her, but Gabriel roared in anger. The guard had a terrified look upon his face, as Gabriel stared at him with malevolent anger.
"Enough!" Exclaimed Anton. "I have a deal with your boss. If that bitch lives, Mr. Sabino doesn't want anymore marks on her!"
"So you are hiding behind Sabino's men!" Gabriel angrily replied. "The very men who killed our father!"
"Who do you think helped make it easy for them to assassinate the bastard?" Anton told him. Gabriel was in shock, and utter disbelief.
"You betrayed him?" Gabriel asked. "You broke our oath?"
"Don't act so surprised!" Anton scoffed. "An oath is only as good as the man who gives it. The mafia isn't made up of a group of saints, or Boy Scouts. Everyone turns on everyone else to grab for power. Or in Vincent's case, guilt over killing a little girl's parents right in front of her. Yes I betrayed father, but he betrayed me first! And he betrayed my mother! He threw me away like garbage, and replaced her with a carbon copy gold digger!"
"Our father hated my mother for the same reason you do!" Gabriel growled. "And I hated him for that reason! But you admired him. So why did you really betray him?"
"To get his thrown!"Anton declared. "You were supposed to take your mother, and you sister back to Paris with you! Only the gunman accidentally took out the bitch along with our father! If your mother had lived, you never would have taken our father's thrown! You hated him! Rosy hated him. But you both let him spoil each of you rotten. I got none of the love that you both took for granted! So don't you dare judge me! You two are even bigger whores than your own mother!"
"Shut up!" Gabriel cried!
"No!" Anton shouted. "I'm now the one in charge, I'm now the one giving the orders! I'm no longer, to paraphrase our dear sister, your chimpanzee lackey that jumps through fire hoops when ever you tell me to! I am now the one who shall be the gargoyle king."
"You are insane!" Gabriel spat.
"No." Anton said to him. "I'm just finally taking what's mine. After you took the thrown, I knew there was only one way I could get it, all of it. You were going to have to fall in love. Even though I figured Rosy's life hanging in the balance would be enough, I needed that extra insurance. After all, one doesn't just voluntarily rip out their own heart, unless they are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. That fact that she's pregnant is just the icing on the cake."
Gabriel felt defeated as Anton seemed to have the upper hand. As he looked at Rosy, and Cali, they were in tears. He tightly closed his eyes, as they well up with tears. This was all his fault, he had let Anton manipulate him. If he had just left Carl Jenkins in Cali's past, none of them would be in this mess. "I'll do whatever you ask!" He cried.
"Then give me what I want, brother!" Anton declared. He then cocked his gun, and pointed it at Rosy.
"Or Rosalina, dies!"

Makemake
"Makemake—a planet that is found in the far edges of the system known as Sol—was once a metropolis, like all of the other planets that populate the system. In one of the massive cities that used to have a population that was in high numbers a sound could be heard. A distant sound. A beep, or a call, a message—whatever it was, it was an electronic noise. It echoed through the dust cloud filled landscape. The sound went on for a long time. It sat in a sea of quiet; no other noise rolled over the hills and bounced off the ground—only that noise.
