Your eyes widened when he told you this, when he finally gave in to your request. He was actually willing to talk to you? He was actually willing to answer your questions? Well, he didn't say he would answer them; you were only going to talk but still...
Was this again some sort of trick? Was this again a way to humiliate you, to do something really horrible and then abuse you again? Or was he really agreeing to talk to you? He only stared at you, tapping his foot on the ground impatiently.
You then regained your tough composure, glaring at him and inhaling a deep breath. No time to think this time, you had him where you wanted him to be, so let's talk. Do the thing you had worked for.
In your head roamed tons and tons of questions, however you had no idea which one to ask first. The good and important questions were overflowed with silly, little ones. Strange, when he wasn't around you could almost make a list with things you want to ask him...
But now, when you finally got the chance... You had no idea what to ask anymore. It was as if everything you knew, everything you doubted already fell into place, which obviously wasn't the case. You decided to start a little safer, considering you had no idea whether Jeff meant it or not.
"When you knocked me out by that swimming pool... How long was I out?" Jeff only chuckled at this question, grinning wildly as his eyes flickered from his knife to you, a strange twinkle of amusement shown into those lidless orbs.
"I didn't exactly count the seconds you know. I thought a kiss would do the trick, but instead of waking up and jumping right into my arms, you kept sleeping." You felt the anger slowly forming in the pit of your stomach. Of course you should've known! Asking a question like that is bound to be followed by his sarcastic way of answering.
He was mocking you again! You wished this was like a fairytale, you wished you suddenly woke up but instead of being in his bed, it would be yours while your friends would all stand around it and telling you just had a bad dream.
But you wouldn't wake up to something as silly as a kiss. Only the dreams and imagination of children could make someone believe in something so silly. You decided to just not give up, and face him. If he didn't want to do this the easy way then why not storm right through?
"Where am I?" You dared to ask.
"In a house." You had to hold your horses and calm your mind otherwise you would jump at him, rip his head off and dug deep through the little brains he had to find the right answers. Of course you knew you were in a house! How fucking specific do you need to ask a question so that he won't be annoying as fuck!
"I know that! What is this mansion?!" You tried again, hoping that he got the hint that you didn't really find this whole situation funny anymore. You guessed not.
"This is where we live." Yeah, you could definitely do something with this answer. You got the feeling as if this whole questioning was pointless, as if he was planning on giving obvious answers the entire time.

"And with 'we' you mean crazy, insane psychopaths?" Without even thinking about it, you had blurted these words right out of your mouth. You were actually shocked and fear filled your veins as you watched Jeff's movements and expression intently.
However his smile extended and something flashed into those cold orbs of his.
"Oeh, I love how you said that. Do it again." His voice was filled with amusement, mockery and a slight sign of lust. Was he really getting into the mood just because you practically called him and insane psychopath?! Just what was he!
You knew that continuing in this way was bound to end wrong, so you decided to just apply a different approach. If he didn't want to talk about himself and where he lives then let's talk about you and your old life.
"Where are my friends?" You wanted to ask who had killed Lola and why, but you guessed you needed to carefully begin in this way. He might not like it at all and then who knows what happens?
"I don't know." Jeff shrugged casually, visibly smirking at you when your mouth formed into one line. Was he fucking around with you or did he really not know where they were? He had to know! He knew where Lola was after all!
"Don't lie! Tell me!" Instead of getting angry, standing up and hitting you, Jeff only sat there, his smirk constantly widening while watching you intently. He was enjoying your pain; he was enjoying the fact that he could make you annoyed and begging for answers.
"How should I know where they are? I only took care of you." He pronounced 'you ' with an overly exaggerated emphasis, clearly trying to suggest something. Chills were sent down your spine as your head recalled that awful event. No, you cannot think of that now.
"Are they alive?" You decided to ignore his previous words. You knew he was trying to get something out of you, he was taunting you. However you also knew that when you would ask specific and very simple questions, he couldn't mock you for it.
"Of course they are they're needed for information of the Creepypasta project." When hearing this sentence your blood began to boil. If they were needed for the Creepypasta project, then why kill Lola? Why kill the only one with a straight forward connection to the project?
It didn't make any sense! Were they so idiotic to have killed the one and only daughter of one of the leaders of a project which could destroy them? They could ask for anything of Lola's father in return for safely giving him his daughter back. Then why?
"Then why was Lola killed?" You had crossed your arms across your chest, shifting your weight from the left to the right feet and only staring back at Jeff. He on the other hand began to chuckle, a dark one. You only raised your eyebrows but kept your stance of determination.
"You think we would be that stupid to kill maybe the only person with information? You honestly think that we would interrogate you, ask you to get the box if we got the daughter of one of the leaders all along? I had expected more of you, (Y/N) but again I'm disappointed."
Your eyes immediately widened and your arms dropped next to your body. Your mouth hung slightly open as your body filled itself with confusion. What in the world was he talking about? They were killers! They were capable of anything and certainly of killing before thinking.

But apparently, you were wrong according to Jeff, even they aren't that stupid. Then what did it mean? Sure you found this all peculiar that you were the one who had to retrieve the box, sure you were skeptical about it but you never really thought it through.
"So you mean..." You couldn't finish your sentence as your eyes were fixed on the ground. You were hiding deeply into your own mind, grabbing all the pieces of the puzzle and trying to make one clear picture of it. Jeff had rested his head on the back of his hand, glaring at you with amusement before speaking:
"It was an accident, if that's what you mean." Finally the big gears in your head started to turn. Of course that's why! Of course they needed all of the information from you! They wouldn't be that stupid to kill Lola, it was an accident.
Or it?
Of course it was! They would go through so much trouble to kidnap her, and above all kidnap you! This made so much sense. They wouldn't go up against the FBI only for Jeff's satisfaction; they wouldn't have gone through all that drama if Lola was still alive.
But she was dead and so they had to come up with some sort of other way to get information about it. Getting to you and Rayne was just a lucky guess, but you figured that they'd rather take a risk like that than to end up empty handed.
Rayne probably told them that you knew more about it, considering she overheard that conversation between you and Lola in the living room the evening before the kidnapping. They knew you had more to offer, that's why all those wasted efforts.
However if this all was true then... You had no other purpose here expect being with Jeff. But above all your other friends had no purpose here anymore. The box had been found, and even if you had no clue whether the blueprint was in there... No more information could be extracted from you.
Or was there something else?
You mentally shook your head. You could think about all that later, right now you had the chance to ask questions and this chance had to be used properly. For all you knew, this was the last time you could ever ask Jeff anything.
"How did it happen?" You asked a little softer, your gathered courage finally allowing you to look back at Jeff again. He only let out a dark chuckle, finding the way how one of your best friends died extremely funny.
"While dragging her in there that idiot had pushed her in too roughly. She tripped, fell and simply broke her neck. It's as easy as that." You hated the fact that he was talking about it as if it was nothing, but you guessed this was normal for him. He killed people for a hobby after al.
So Lola was the very victim of merely an unfortunate accident? Even though it all made sense, you still found it hard to believe that neither of all these killers had something to do with it, that she just tripped and died like that...
Surely there couldn't be a slight push, could there? No, they needed her badly. You remembered Jeff's words. How much shit he had gone through in order to keep you, how mad this 'Slender' guy was because you simply tried to escape. Killing of probably the only girl with answers was bound to get some reaction from this so called 'Slender'.
So if all of the information you gathered is correct then...
"Why am I still here? I mean you got the box." You felt stupid for asking this question, considering he vaguely gave you hints but you wanted to be sure. You wanted those answers to come out of his mouth instead of thinking about them for yourself.
"You're here because I like you." If it wasn't coming out of the mouth of an insane, mutilated killer then you might've felt slightly flattered about this comment, but you were not. Was that all there was to it? Were you really only here to satisfy Jeff's needs?
You were roughly pulled back to reality when you heard noise coming from the back of the room. You realized that Jeff already stood up out of the chair and was coming straight at you. His feet tapped onto the ground ever so slowly, making his way over to you in an utmost menacing matter.
You immediately backed away, pressed tightly against the wall as you mentally cursed for not paying more attention to him. What was he planning? Your gaze shifted to his mouth, which was (aside from his everlasting smile) still curled into a nasty grin.
"I like it when you're angry; I like it when you think you are an equal match for me."
He stopped only a few inches away from you, just like he did when you wanted to 'talk'. Both of his hands were again pressed against the wall, however this time a little closer to your body, to prevent you from escaping. Your breath hitched and your eyes widened as you felt his hot breath slowly brushing against your lips.
"But I like it the most when you're submissive, worried and filled with fear." Your whole body tensioned as he moved his head lower, his dark hair tickling your face softly and you felt his breath lingering on the skin of your neck. You could almost feel his lips against it.
"You know, (Y/N)... I've played your game, now you have to play"

Also this chapter explains a lot of questions, but there are some which aren't explained yet. That is because the reader hadn't got the chance to ask them yet, and I've saved them for other chapters for a reason. So there will be more answers eventually! Just be patient. :)
Shout out to everyone who takes time to read these chapters and shout out to everyone who is patient enough to wait for the next update. I know that I updated slower than before these few past updates, but that is for a reason. I have a very important exam coming up this monday, one about 4 chapters (60 pages a chapter) of the human anatomy which is really, really hard. Learning for this exam takes 3 whole weeks minimal, so that explains the slow updates. (even though I find myself updating quickly compared to few others. No offence :) )
After this test is over, I have the time to update more frequently if I have the feel to write, that is.
Anyway hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. Don't hesitate to leave a comment, critic or idea. Hearts are also welcome! Thanks to all my lovely followers and stay awesome!
