Note:

this chapter contains vulgar language,

Also in the last chapter (chapter 30: The key) you could choose whether to keep the key or to put it back down. If you didn't choose just yet then go back to chapter 30 and choose. If you did choose, then consider all of the above not written.

Also this chapter doesn't differ much from the other chapter (chapter 32: Put it back down) aside from some crucial facts. But, these facts may or may not have influence on your decision, but you already did pick your decision! Play nice and keep to your decision!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You decided to keep the key. Your head had helped you through a lot, your realistic view on things kept tempering your hopes and false expectations... But this time, you just felt as if your heart was the one who was right. You needed to keep the key.
You had no idea what made you feel this way, why you felt as if you needed this key. But your heart had never failed you before, your mind had. Sometimes giving in to these feelings and listening to them was the best. How bad could it be?
You scanned the surrounding for somewhere to keep the key. It may be best to just place it somewhere it can't be found but where it's still close to you, this way it wouldn't be found quickly. Your eyes fell on the black, dirty skinny jeans on the ground. If you were going to get dressed you'd probably put that on.
Your eyes shifted from the door towards the pants, before you shot out of the bed and quickly fiddled with the black pants. Then you had dug the key deeply inside one of the pockets, before you dropped the skinny jeans somewhere in the corner.
You then shot back and sat down. Alright you were now officially safe. You gave a loud sigh of relief and then somewhat covered your naked body up with the sheets as you waited for Jeff to come back. Well, you weren't really waiting for him but still...
Then you heard footsteps coming closer and your head snapped towards the door when Jeff entered. His face was formed into a growl, but when he saw you sitting there it immediately turned back into a nasty smirk, the one from before someone interrupted.
"Looks like we have to visit those idiots again, doll." You raised your eyebrows in confusion as you only looked at Jeff. 'Those idiots'? Who was he talking about? You opened your mouth to ask him, but he had cut you off by saying:
"We don't have all day, get dressed. Unless of course you want to walk around naked. I don t mind." His smirk grew even wider but you still stared at Jeff with confusion. Where are you going? Then you realized what he had just said and you wanted to snarl at him for being a perverted ass, but decided to just get dressed.
When Jeff wasn't looking because he was busy doing something, you quickly snatched the skinny jeans and a top from the ground and tried to cover yourself up as quickly as possible. You knew that he had seen you naked before, several times you may add.
But you still hated to show him your body. You weren't agreeing with this whole situation, he might as well know. You felt eyes boring themselves into your back and you had to suppress the urge to jump under the bed and hide until he was gone.
When you were finally fully dressed in the dirty black skinny jeans and a simple black tank top you turned around and met eyes with Jeff.
"Ready, princess?" He asked in a mocking tone. You only nodded, ignoring his words, it was better that way. You slowly walked over to Jeff, who was already standing in front of the door. Where you were going you had no idea, but it was better to just follow him.
Maybe he was going to take you to another one of your friends? No, he couldn't do that. You were going to see 'those idiots again'. But who exactly were those idiots? Your friends? Maybe Masky and Hoodie? You had no idea.
Jeff opened the door and then stepped out of it, you following closely behind him. He again walked towards that small staircase on the other side of the wooden door. Why he always took this old and probably unused route you didn't know.
However you guessed that this wasn't the route he would usually take, considering the staircase, the door and even the floor in that room is extremely dusty and old. But then again you might take this route in order to avoid any other Creepypastas. Jeff wasn't fond of them anyway.
You had reached the stairs and silently followed Jeff down, the steps creaking when little weight was applied to them. Jeff opened the other door and then walked through the corridor, over to the all too familiar door leading to the basement.
You began to feel very nervous at this. Where exactly was he taking you? The last time you had entered this basement it didn't end well. You were broken at that time. Maybe he is going to torture you again? But for what reason? You hadn't been disobedient whatsoever. Well, except for the fact that you stole his key.
He opened the door and then gave you a glance over his shoulder, to see if you were still following him. He of course would've noticed sooner if you were gone, but it was the idea. He wanted you to know that he was still keeping an eye on you.
You both descended down the stairs, the light slowly fading and the only light given came from a nearly depleted bulb hanging from the ceiling. Only a few rooms further was Lola. Her deformed body still laying there, her scarred soul lingering in these corridors, crying for release to the afterlife.
You knew she was still there; they won't even lift their fingers to get rid of a body. They just let the rot until nothing is left. You really wanted to bury her, give her some sort of peace. But you didn't dare to ask Jeff. He would only laugh at your stupidity and call you an idiot for believing such things.
Instead of walking through the corridor, you immediately turned left into another corridor. It was very well hidden, because you hadn't seen this corridor before. At the end was a door, a heavy metal looking door. Jeff stopped right in front of it.
His hand then dug deep into his pocket before a tingling sound was heard and he retreated his hand. He was holding a small metal object... A key. He then unlocked the door with it, pushing it open and walking further. It really looked like the key you had in your pocket, but that couldn't be. Then that means he has a spare key... No it wasn't the same key.
Or maybe it was? You didn't really pay attention to him when you were dressing yourself. He might've taken a spare key when you weren't noticing it.
You followed closely behind him through the corridor. The sudden chance of air seemed to hit you right in the face, as the corridor became darker and darker. A sudden sound heard from behind you made you jump up, give a soft yelp an immediately turn around to look at the cause of the sound.
The heavy, metal door just closed behind you, making this corridor seem even more dark and tensioned. This wasn't good, you could feel it. This was certainly different from the other side of the basement. Compared to this that was like heaven so light.
"You coming or what?" The sudden sound of Jeff's voice startled you to the bone, but it somehow made you feel slightly at ease. It was the only thing in probably this whole space which you knew and that somehow created a twisted sense of comfort.
You now knew, this was really bad.
You turned to face Jeff, who only stared at you from over his shoulder. His movement however had stopped and he just looked at you in silence. As if he was waiting for you to come back from your cloud of thoughts. You only nodded slightly and then continued to walk right behind Jeff.
There were all kinds of doors in this corridor, but only one of them was open. A vague, blue light seemed to come from it but you weren't sure whether to look. You couldn't help but to cast one glance in the direction of the room once you got closer towards it.
What was inside looked horrible.
Inside there were all kinds of big tubes... With things floating in the liquid filling them. It looked like some bad horror movie, but this was all too real. You couldn't bear to look at it once you knew that those things inside the tubes were actually humans, deformed and probably being tested on.
This was the only thing you saw, the only thing you wanted to see. What was happening to them you didn't even want to know, but by even looking at this you knew that these Creepypastas were going further than just killing humans whenever they like.
There was something horrible going on in here, aside from the fact that they kill for fun. You didn't want to think about it, but your head kept coming up with different scenarios and questions. You weren't sure whether to ask Jeff, but curiosity took over and you opened your mouth.
"What is this place, Jeff?" You asked softly, afraid that it might cause him to become angry at you. He could also laugh, mock you for being 'stupid' and then move on. However he did something very unexpected, he gave answer to your questions.
"This? Oh, this is just our workplace. Some of us come here in order to relax and practice out their hobby more." Your eyes widened at his words. Relax? Workplace? This wasn't a workplace or a place to relax, it was straight up hell! You knew these people were insane, but this just tops it.
"You have a room here too?" Jeff's last answer made you become bolder with asking questions. You had to be careful though, he could always suddenly become annoyed with the questions. Jeff only chuckled a very dark one, as if he was thinking about the nasty things he did in that room.
"Yes I do. But I don't come there very often anymore. I have a new hobby now." You almost felt sick to your stomach when he said this. You knew damn well what he was talking about and you decided to just drop the questions and continue on walking.
You just kept following Jeff through all these corridors; it was like a maze to you. He constantly came to more corridors, and then he took a turn. How he even knew this all from his head was a mystery, but you were certain that this would be the end of a person if they get lost in here. You tried your best to keep track, just in case something would happen.
You hoped you would eventually remember this, but you guessed not. These corridors all looked the same and above all this was just too much to remember. Jeff stopped at a door in the middle of the corridor. He then glanced at you from over his shoulder before knocking on the door.
"Come in." You recognized this voice.
It was his voice.
