"Ah, what's wrong? Little wuss scared?" You knew Masky was pouting from under his mask, trying to get on your nerves more than ever... But you weren't irritated by him. You were far more scared of what he would do, what he could do.

"Come on, little pet. Your master is this way." You felt your stomach turning at his words. Not because they were insulting... But because they were true. You were a pet and you knew it damn well. You were constantly reminded of that fact, which made you feel sick.

You weren't someone's property, yet you were portrayed and used as one. You were nothing like you had been before and that almost scared you more than any of these guys. You were a broken and filthy mess which was called an object. Nothing more.

The worst part was that you were starting to feel like one.

Masky began walking into a random direction and you followed suit closely. Whatever he was planning, whether he was really going to get you out of here didn't matter anymore. You felt sad on the inside, more like an empty waste of space.

You had just set your friends free, yet you didn't feel as much joy as before. A constant shadow was looming over your small frame and you knew that it could be two things. It could either be doubt, uncertainty. Not really sure if Hoodie spoke the truth, if he will keep to his words.

Not sure if your friends will be freed.

The other thought is that you're alone. If you're friends are freed then what? Then where's your light? Where the thing which will drag you through the darkness and towards the light? Where's the rope that keeps you from falling down into the dark abyss?

It'll be gone and then you'll be alone.

Forever.

"I've actually never met a human as stupidly stubborn as you are." You were ripped from your thoughts when Masky spoke. You actually were so engulfed into your own mind that you hadn't noticed where you were walking and that you were probably already quite some corridors further ahead.

You raised one of your eyebrows, but he probably couldn't see it. You had no idea if you needed to feel offended or flattered, but because it was Masky, you knew he meant it as an insult. He would never ever flatter someone unless he's completely out of his mind... Oh.

"Most of the humans I meet only scream, cry and plead for mercy as if rip open their ribcage, feel around a little while they scream." He gave a loud chuckle afterwards, probably thinking of yet another gruesome event taking place somewhere in his mind.

You wondered if it involved you.

"I still don't know why Jeff wants to keep you so badly. He even uses lies instead of force to make you stay with him. What a pussy." The way Masky talked about Jeff had something vulgar, something disgusting. But that wasn't what had caught your ears.

Lies? What in the world is he talking about? Jeff isn't lying to you is he? Yeah sure the whole thing about the door was kind of strange but he didn't lie about it. He just didn't show you... But then what could he be lying about?

"What do you mean?" You dared to ask, your throat sore of the pain... Or dryness or whatever cause it could have been. You saw Masky's head turning slightly, looking over his shoulder and probably staring at you. What in the world was he talking about?

"You've got to be kidding me. Are you really that stupid?" You heard him scoffing at you, really thinking you were stupid. Of course he would. But you didn't care about that right now. You only wanted to know what he was talking about.

"What lies?" You almost began to lose your patience... If you even had patience. Masky only chuckled louder, looking straight ahead as you saw his head shaking. You wanted to know, you needed to know. He wasn't just stirring up old fire, right?

"I can't believe how stupid you humans are. You must be filled with dog shit if you still don't understand." You now really began to lose patience. Further ahead you saw the familiar big, metal door appearing, but your attention was mainly focused on the masked man.

"What are you talking about?!" You now yelled at him, stopping right in your tracks and staring at the guy furiously. He stopped his pace as well, as he turned towards you. He crossed his arms, keeping distance and most of all being completely silent.

You felt your heart racing out of anger. You wanted to know. You needed to know. He was playing with you, he wanted you to become mad and do something stupid. He had you yet again in his web, but it wasn't only regarding your own well-being right now.

That is what made you furious.

"If you honestly think you can negotiate with killers then you're deadly mistaken, sunshine. Your little Jeffy-boo lied to you. About your precious friends." At this word your whole body tensioned. You felt the blood rushing through your veins as you kept both eyes locked onto the masked man.

"You think those useless pieces of shit are still alive? We have no need for them and if Jeff hadn't marked you as his pet, you wouldn't be alive either." At this the whole picture in front of your eyes started to crash down. The emotions felt then were unable to describe.

Your friends aren't alive? They're dead? Jeff lied to you? No! That cannot be true! Jeff might be a killer, he might be incredibly insane and bend in the mind but he wouldn't lie to you about something like that... Would he? No! You've seen Sandy! She was still alive!

"Liar! I've seen one of them! "You yelled at the masked man, coming one step closer towards him. He didn't seem faced at all; in fact you were sure he was laughing about this all. He kept standing straight, not speaking, and only watching. He was lying; he was trying to get you angered.

He was lying. He is a liar. He's lying. He isn't telling the truth, it can't be. He's a filthy, insane, pathetic excuse for a lying killer.

"But now we've got what we wanted from you guys, you are of no use to us anymore. They know. In fact I think that idiot is in there right about... Now." It took you some time to decipher what he was saying. They know? Who knows? What do they know? That you've cracked the code? That you've retrieved the blueprint successfully?

Who is he talking about? What idiot? Does he mean Jeff? But where would Jeff be then? They've now got what they wanted. They have what they wanted...

It was then realization dawned upon you and you were frozen solid to the ground. Your eyes widened immediately, the rush was filling your veins and your breathing became ragged. He's there, he's in there... They'll have no use for you... Or your friends...

He lied. Negotiating with killers is impossible; they won't keep to their word. Because they have nothing to lose. They are killers, they feel no remorse. Not for killing... But also not for lying. Hoodie tricked you; he made you believe what you wanted to believe.

Your friends won't be freed. The other killers know about it. They know that they won't be useful anymore, so that they can be rid of. Jeff lied to you about your friends being alive... Except for Sandy, who you had seen with your own eyes... That 'idiot' is in there right now...

She'll be dead in a minute.

Without even thinking about it, you bolted forwards, speeding past Masky in a whim and running towards the door. Masky only stood there, not being faced at all as he let out a dark and loud chuckle:

"You won't make it, sunshine."

With one hell of a harsh tug you nearly ripped the door out of its frame. You speeded through the opening, not caring about closing it. You ran further, past the stairs which would lead you back to Jeff. That would be the best path to choose right now.

But you just couldn't get your heart to stop feeling.

You were yet again disobeying Jeff and all his orders. Doing something incredibly stupid and probably futile... But it was something. You had to do something.

Pain was spreading through your whole body. Your bones and muscles were protesting loudly, they couldn't run, they couldn't even move without noticing the extreme damage. But you ignored it. Your sense of moral and friendship was far greater than the pain.

Your footsteps clashed loudly against the cold concrete floor, the little light not providing enough illumination to see, but you didn't need it. You could feel her, you could sense her and above all...

You could hear her scream.

You pushed your body to go even faster, ignoring every single complaint it gave you even if it resulted in heavy pain. Breathing became difficult as your eyesight became blurry. You couldn't handle this; you couldn't cope with these lies.

Not anymore, not after all you had gone through. You needed her; you needed all of them to keep you sane, to keep you living. Tears were streaming down your face freely, the salty water sliding over your wound and biting at it.

You heard her screams echoing through the long and cold corridor and they became louder and louder. They ripped your heart apart.

Shredding the muscles into a thousand tiny pieces. And then making someone stomp on it again and again. Just like the first time, just like that time you were hiding. Except now you weren't hiding anymore. You weren't safe anymore. You were the only solution.

Completely out of breath you neared the door, the screams becoming too loud to bear. You had no plan, no weapon to face this monster but you couldn't care. If you would die then rather with your friend than alone. You didn't want that guilt.

With inhuman speed you bolted through the door opening, the darkness providing nothing but uncertainty. But you knew what was in there and what you had to face. You saw a silhouette standing at the back of the room, facing the small, bloody pulp which was once a beautiful young girl.

The adrenaline acted for you as you, without decreasing your speed, jumped onto the back of the person. You felt the person faltering, probably fairly shocked of the sudden weight on his back. You immediately wrapped your good arm around his throat, more to keep you on his back than to choke him.

Your other arm with the lifeless hand swung around while this guy tried to keep his balance, throwing one of his weapons on the ground. However after a few seconds you noticed that he wasn't trying to keep standing, but that he wanted you off of his back, shaking heavily while one of his hands clawed at you.

It took you all of your power to stay on his back before one of his hands had grabbed you and while shaking, threw you roughly off of it. You came down with a harsh smack, the pain felt already too much to bear but you didn't need to stop. You turned around almost immediately, ignoring the screams and pleads your body gave you in order to get you to stop.

. You saw the man standing there, grabbing his dropped weapon off of the floor before turning towards you. There wasn't light in the room and yet you could still see what this guy looked like: He wore goggles which covered his eyes. A mask was covering his mouth.

"W-w-who the fuck are you?" He sneered. You noticed that while speaking he was swinging the hatchets around. Yet it didn't seem as controlled as you had expected. He was stuttering, nearly faltering over his own words. He wasn't swinging his hatchets to get you scared, he was ticking.

Uncontrollably making his body move.

Your eyes traveled quickly to the weapons he had in his hands, seeing that both hatchets were stained with dark liquid. Blood you knew. You shot up again, speeding at him again before he got the chance to attack you. However he was quicker, swinging one of his hatchets skillfully which had dug itself into your side.

A loud cry of pain escaped your mouth and the impact had caused you to duck, avoiding the other hatchet which was trying to dig itself into your head, out of pure luck. Adrenaline once again controlled every action, the need to stay alive and safe your friends greater than the wish to die.

You bolted at the guy, using your whole body to try tackle him down. Yet you failed miserably. He avoided it easily, stepping to the side as you crashed onto the ground. Of course he would avoid it easily. You were no match for a skilled killer like he is.

Right when you collided with the cold concrete floor, something broke open. Something inside of you snapped, yet it wasn't your mind, your body... It was your life force. A feeling of nausea overwhelmed you, yet you were too tired, too broken to care.

You were done.
