In the last chapter (Chapter 57, The ultimate decision) You could choose whether to go right towards the light or to go left towards the darkness. If you didn't choose just yet then go back to chapter 57 and choose.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What was there to choose? What was this nonsense? Of course you knew what you had to do; Lola had made it very clear what the outcome of this decision should've been... Yet you knew that somehow you couldn't keep up with that prediction.
Your mind told you to go towards the light, towards the warmth. After all, what was left in the living world for you? Your friends are dead, every single one of them. Everyone residing in that hellhole dislikes you, including Jeff but thanks to his sickening obsession, you were still alive.
You would only lengthen your own life, only to die when Jeff had no use for you anymore or if you would've done something stupid in his eyes. Not to mention how many times you've had a near death experience in that disgusted place for these past weeks.
You wanted to escape for a reason, to either get to freedom or die trying, but you didn't want to keep on living. It wasn't an option then and it sure as hell isn't an option now. Your mouth turned into one line while you were thinking these thoughts over, almost getting embarrassed.
You were being so extremely selfish right now, but that was quite fair right? Every single day you had spent with Jeff you only thought of your friends, every action you did was almost completely thought out and well-planned...
Alright not every action you did, but you always tried to at least consider your friends.
You had lived for them; you were willing to take a couple of harsh hits for them... And now they were gone. And you had a chance to join them. Throughout your whole life you had been selfless, then why, when your life was over, couldn't you be selfish one single time?
You had more than deserved it and even Lola said so.
Then it's settled. You can finally go where you want to go.
Glancing at the darkness one more time you slowly walked towards the light, the feeling of happiness overwhelming you like a warm blanket on a winter's night. You couldn't get enough; it felt like a drug to you. A good but heavily addicting drug.
Then Lola's words were ringing through your mind, filling your body up to the brim with doubt. You knew that she was supportive, that she didn't mind if you chose for yourself... But somehow you couldn't help but to feel extremely guilty.
It was as if you had left her alone, as if you had broken your promise again. Whatever reason you gave yourself nothing seemed to ease this feeling, not even the warmth and comfortable light, which was now surrounding your small body.
You stopped walking, glancing over your shoulder where the dark tones of the living world were trying to pull you back. You knew it wasn't going to work. Even though you doubted this decision you had made, you knew that there was no other option.
You had realized it before but then other things had kept you going. But now, after all those little light spots slowly faded away, you weren't pulled back anymore. Your head was filling itself with darkness, consuming your soul and body.
You were broken.
Each time you had fixed yourself over and over again, taking the little things you had and sticking them to the wall named hope. But the pictures slowly fell off. More and more until only one was left... And then, when that last picture fell before you had a chance to find another... You broke down.
You were too exhausted to engulfed into your sorrow and pity to fight back.
Weak, sad, pathetic... But true and legit. Any normal person would break and you were definitely no exception. You kept on walking through the big tunnel of light. Your feelings of pity and doubt were replaced with a warmer feeling.
The feeling of relief.
You had done everything in your power to save everyone, including yourself. You failed... But you weren't a failure. A failure wouldn't have been given this chance; a failure wouldn't be walking towards the light right now, but towards something darker.
You had lived your life as a good person.
Time to end it as a good person.
A small smile had spread itself across your lips as you saw the ending of the bright, white tunnel nearing. The best thing about this all was the fact that you would see your friends again. All of them. After the incident you hadn't seen Mandy, Farah or Rayne...
And you only saw Lola's dead body and Sandy's dying one. But now, you could be reunited with them. Hold them, hug them and tell them how much you missed each and single one of the girls. You loved them with all you had inside of you.
More warmth and comfort came your way as you were sure your ears were greeted by a beautiful, united singing voice. As if the whole world was singing specially for you.
You quickened your pace a little, not wanting to again be tackled down by doubt. You had chosen this for a reason; you had chosen this because you deserved it. You had chosen this because, for one single time throughout your whole life, you could make your own decision.
Even though your body died in an utmost horrible and painful way... Your soul was set free towards a beautiful place. The sound became louder, gentler, more beautiful! By now you were running, wanting to get there as soon as you could.
You had waited for too long.
Smiling all the way as every bad feeling flowed out of your body, leaving only the happiness and the feeling of being extremely content, of pure luck. Then you dashed forward, falling straight through the whiteness while your mind turned dark for one small second.
You were there.
You had arrived.
You were greeted.
Your soul was free.
"Welcome home... (Y/N)."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here you go!
I don't want to say that you've chosen wrong, because this decision seems very legit. I'll explain further in chapter 59. You'll also continue on with the story in chapter 59...
Hope you enjoyed!

Transmigration Retiree
"What's that you say? I can never leave this reality ever? Good!" Ed, was a normal man in a world full of superheroes, so he didn't really have too many complaints when that first truck fell on him. After all he'd read enough comics to know that sometimes things just happen. Besides he'd been getting on in years when it happened, and his life till then, though lonely, had more or less been fully lived. The second time around when that one guy pushed him off a cliff for a chalice of immortal ambrosia, wasn't so cool though, and then there was that third time when he was just getting used to life as a lady, and that crazy goddess showed up out of nowhere and started ranting about purging the demon menace....then some other stuff happened and he briefly got to go back to earth before falling into a coma where he adventured in the world of dreams. Then the aliens came, and the dream ended and he was suddenly stuck being the AI Overmind for the whole damn star systm. The aliens died, and because he was all mechanical and what-not he just kind of had to keep on going. Forced to continue collecting the materials and data from countless worlds that were destoryed in the process. Then there was that whole war with the gods business that followed...mostly because of all that world destroying he did because of some fairly faulty programming. Anyway, thankfully someone pulled a "rocks fall" on that whole curfuffle, because by the time he was in control of himself again, things had long gotten out of hand. Now the powers-that-be tell him that he must spend the rest of his existence in single lonely section of the cosmos. Trapped in a single portion of a single universe. And now he weeps...No worries though, these are tears of joy. Hopefully this final unending existence he's been given will be the quiet life he's been looking for. A Man who's seen everything gets abducted by aliens and is converted into an AI that sits at the helm of a fleet of alien ships and behind the computer systems for most their planets. This Alien AI goes to war with the gods and ends up nearly destroying an entire reality. The Angels condemn the troublemaking AI to life as normal child on a far off world....All truth said, the "AI" couldn't be happier. His life's been far too interesting(read: Scary, Inconvenient and Painful) in his opinion and he could do with a bit of normalcy.

A Tale of the Ages: Gods, Monster, and Heros
The past get's forgotten. Or so they say. Maybe they're right. Even the gods forgot the beginning, the reason it all started. But I refuse to forget, even if I'm driven mad by the memory. Salvation? It's pointless. No one is worth saving, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth helping. No one is a plaything, but everyone's a pawn in this game. I hate it. Who's playing? I don't know. I don't even know what the game really is. I gave up on figuring that out after a time. What I do know is that I want to tell you all a story. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end, as any good story should. But, I really don't think you'd keep listening if I told it in order. So, we will start at three points; you'll have to figure out where they are in the overall story. The story of Hal and instinct, a pair so close that they might as well have been one. The story of The Husk, a creature on a hunt that would span generations. The story of Mask and a hero. How one will come to learn of the other's past and the many faces they had. Do you know where you stand? Do you side with the gods, the hero, the demon king, the experiment, the cursed, the blessed, the monsters, the forgotten? Well? I know. You don't know anything yet, so you can't say. So, enter our world, and find out what side is what.

There is one rule in the countless worlds of cultivation, no matter the gods, monsters, or people. Death is power. The name is Bones. That's it. Just Bones.
