Breathing heavily, the air getting obstructed by mucus filling your windpipe, you glanced at the killer. The room was still spinning madly before your eyes, your heart pounding in your head and toes. Before you could do anything else, you shot up on your knees and elbows, eyes widening as you felt the contents of your stomach flowing up.
You threw up there, right on the floor. Desperately trying to breathe through it, you began to cough as well. Showing just what kind of miserable mess you were right now.
Once your coughing and puking fit was over your dared to breathe normally, hoping to calm down your body and mind before you did something drastic. Seeing the puke beneath you getting mixed with your blood made you aware that you had a nosebleed again.
You turned towards Jeff, wondering what in the hell was going on and seeing if he had anything to do with it. He, however, just stood there. Fists clenched and gritting his teeth before your eyes. He didn't look at you but seemed to be focusing on a spot on the wall.
He didn't shout, he didn't curse... He didn't bolt outside, showing that creature what happens when you mess with the infamous killer. No...
He just... Did absolutely nothing.
This unusual behavior, this way of portraying himself in front of you now... It almost made you angry. You were certain he knew. You were certain that he knows exactly what is going on and why that little girl was after you.
He knows that this wasn't just a random attack. He knows what will happen and why.
Whenever something happens he always screamed at you... He always mocked the other pastas... Got on their nerves, blamed you for things you didn't even had a grip on. But not now. He saw that you were being chased, he even dragged you to safety in his room.
For god knows how safe this room actually is. Those fucking tentacles got in without any problem, why stop now only because Jeff's here? Swallowing the remaining saliva mixed with stomach contents you cleared your throat, looking straight at him while asking:
"What is going on?!"
His dark eyes immediately focused on yours and the scowl on his face said enough for you not to pursue more questions now. He turned his back towards you, however he made no move. You were still breathing irregularly, now focusing on the closed door.
Silence sneered through the room, almost making it seem as if that whole ordeal from before didn't even happen. As if it was all a trick of the mind.
Was it?
No!
Don't be stupid, that couldn't be. How many more beatings do you have to get in order not to doubt your own mind anymore? Was it just the lack of sleep? The lack of comfort or food? Maybe dehydration or the god knows what kind of infections you got from those wounds made you think this way.
Made you doubt yourself. Or it's just the situation itself, this fucking house is making you crazy! You slowly sat on your knees, feeling the stinging of your wounds, your limbs, your bones and everything else. Your hand reached over to your nose, examine the blood on your hand once you had pulled it back.
That was the least of your problems now.
You had been extremely... Extremely lucky to have escaped that... Thing... But goddamn, so much for recovering. What was that anyway? And who was that? Still the little and seemingly so innocent girl? No... The monster you saw at the end of that hallway.

It was nothing like the girl, even though you didn't doubt that she was as evil as that... Other thing was.
Just... What is going on!
Feeling the adrenaline slowly fading away you began to get real panicky. You are no longer safe here without Jeff, you no longer have a safe haven where you can plan your every move, where you can rest and think about what to do next.
This place wasn't the lucky casino either, however it had always protected you from the other killers. It had always made you feel a little safer than anywhere else in the house, even with Jeff inside of it.
But that feeling of safety had been crushed by those tentacles. Crushed by the little girl.
If Jeff, the one who got you here in the first place, can't keep you safe anymore then who can? What were you supposed to do now? Give up? Let yourself be killed by these monsters? Oh no! You'd rather end it all yourself!
But... Let's not get over the top now (Y/N)... You are here... With Jeff... The tentacles haven't invaded the room yet and even though it could still happen... You doubted Jeff would let you get taken away from him so easily right...
Right?
No... Even though he did some nasty and cruel things... When you were around him none of the other Creepypastas attacked you. Hell, E.J. even let you go so easily when he came face to face with Jeff. Somehow, he forced a little respect out of the others, enough to keep you safe in his presence.
Just try to relax. He's here now, and by the way he's acting you're going to get answers very soon. Or at least... He won't leave as quickly.
You won't die yet.
You aren't going to die.
You will live.
Taking in a deep breath through your mouth your eyes traveled to Jeff again. He still stood there, not moving an inch as he was facing the door. What was going on inside his mind? Does he really have something to do with this? Does he really know?
He just does nothing... As if... As if listening?
Suddenly the whole floor began to shake roughly and your attention immediately focused on that. You had to squint your eyes to make sure that it wasn't your brain that was playing tricks on you. However, when the other things in the room began to shake as well, you started to become fully aware that this was real.
What? An earthquake?
You tried to keep steady onto the floor, in order not to fall into your own puke. Your eyes quickly locked on Jeff's frame, examining his reaction to this weird situation. The shaking intensified deeply before one, final booming echoed through the whole house. Then the shaking abruptly stopped, engulfing the room into complete silence again. The falling objects the only evidence that the 'earthquake' ever happened.
Once you were completely sure you were steady on your limbs you looked around. What the fuck was that all about? You had never, ever encountered an earthquake when you were here. Not to mention the fact that this mansion seemed to bend time and space, making eternal darkness the only thing surrounding it.
They could surely bend the forces of nature as well then?
You again focused on Jeff's frame, hoping to get more clues about what was happening... But, just like before, he didn't move. Now you were really scared something is about to happen. Shit, were you really safe with him?
What if he's contemplating to kill you?

No! This can't be the end! Not like this, not now!
Trying to stand up you kept glancing at the killer, not wanting to lose him out of your sight. He was the only one who could protect you now or the only one who had a free game of killing you. There was a high need to get on his good side... And fast.
You wobbled at your own feet, still in pain from the long and exhausting run. You kept staring at his back, hoping to get some attention as you had cleared your throat again. He didn't acknowledge your existence.
Before you could do anything else, a heavy booming soared through the house, making the room shake violently again. You held onto the wall, hoping to keep standing while the earthquake continued for a few seconds.
Then, just like the one before... It stopped suddenly. Looking around to see that everything was still in place your eyes immediately locked onto Jeff's frame. This wasn't right at all... That last attack really turned the tables around, didn't it?
"Fine, if that's what you want." Jeff's voice seemed to be coming out of nowhere and you were sure it wasn't directed to you. He didn't look back at you to see if you were OK. Not that you had expected him though, however you did find it extremely peculiar that he just ignored those two earthquakes.
As if they didn't even happen.
Jeff turned around, facing you with a blanc expression.
"I'm going. You need to stay here." He didn't wait for your answer as he started walking towards the door. You were slowly letting his sentence seep into your mind. He was going to leave you alone again, he was going to leave you behind in an unsafe room.
Does he want you dead so badly?!
No! He doesn't understand! He doesn't comprehend the fact that you're in real danger. He can't leave you here! He can't leave you to fend for yourself. They will get you, they will kill you and they will do everything to get to that goal.
He can't leave!
"No!" You yelled loudly, the panic taking over as you saw the tentacles slowly seeping into the room again in your mind. They were going to get you as soon as he took a step out of the door. You needed to go with him. You needed to get somewhere safe.
Jeff stopped, waiting a few seconds before he glanced over his shoulder towards you. His eyes spat fire and you knew he didn't like your little outburst.
"I don't have fucking time for your little temper tantrum. Shut up." Jeff had already turned his back on you again, continuing his walk. You don't want to die! You're in grave danger now! Why can't he see?
"Those tentacles will get me, they'll kill me!" Your heart began to race again and your mind filled itself with irrational and unreal thoughts. Your judgement had been clouded, you couldn't think straight anymore. All you saw was the possible threat of being killed.
"I'm not saying this again, (Y/N). Shut up or I'll make you." He wasn't going to listen. He was blinded by his own foolish desires. You couldn't die here, not brutally like that. He needs to listen.
Jeff kept on walking, but before he could do anything you quickly limped over towards him. He couldn't leave you here, he couldn't let you die! The only focus in your mind was getting to Jeff, holding onto him and never letting go.
The pain had spread through your limbs, but you couldn't care. You needed to get to safety, you needed to get close to him. If he didn't listen you had to forcefully make him listen. You then grabbed his white hoodie, clinging onto it as a child clinging onto its mother. You couldn't let go.
"Let go, (Y/N), otherwise I'll swear I'll cut you open." You heard the threat, you comprehended the threat but you couldn't obey. He didn't understand. He really didn't see.
"No! They will kill me Jeff, I'm not safe here!" You felt the desperation crawling over your small frame, inching in every vein you had. You just didn't want to die, you didn't want to go through all that again... You couldn't handle that anymore.
Even through you tried to hold them, the tears began to roll off your cheeks. You were scared, you were afraid. You were so desperate for any kind of help, any luck to be on your side.
"Jeff... Please... Take me with you... Don't... Leave me..." You hated yourself for looking so vulnerable, for being so weak, but there was no other way. You had to plead with the killer, to hope that he had somehow one inch of mercy left for you.
To not be left here to die.
He didn't move, he didn't say you could go with him or anything that showed he agreed. However, he didn't shook you off as well, he didn't get angry or dangerous. You kept on sniffing quietly, not daring to let go of his sweater, afraid he might disappear completely.
You stood there in silence for seconds, or maybe even minutes. You knew he was thinking but you were too busy drowning in your own sorrow to guess.
It was then he roughly grabbed your wrists from behind. The grip was strong and painful, but somehow also reassuring. He squeezed them tightly, as if ordering you forcefully to let go. Yet something told you he wouldn't disappear.
You slowly let go of his shirt, as he kept holding onto your wrists. He then turned around and before you could even look at him he had slammed your body against his own, in a tight and almost painful grip.
You were extremely surprised at this action, at this... Way of comforting. It was totally out of character, it was not like Jeff. You felt his arms going higher, one wrapping around the back of your neck and the other still holding on to your waist.
You let him hug you, standing there against him dumbfounded. You didn't know why he chose this time to display such affection, but you didn't care right now. All you cared about was not being left alone here, not being left to die.
However, when you tried to breathe in you found that it became rather hard. Realizing that his steel hug was one of death and not one of comforting you began to struggle.
But, to your dismay, your hands were tied in between your body and his. The strength he had overwhelming yours and you could do nothing but gasp and beg to the gods above that he wasn't purposely choking you.
You knew better.
Feeling faint in the head you tried to struggle harder, pushing against his chest to no avail. Your lungs began to burn and your head felt like it could pop off any second now. Your mouth was wide agape, hoping to get some oxygen in it, but his grip only tightened.
Was this it? Was this how you were going to die?
Well... Maybe that wasn't so bad. This peace... This rest... It was comforting... It felt comforting... If you were going to die anyway why not let it be like this? It doesn't hurt that much... You calmed yourself a little as your brain seemed to be on emergency mode. Your eyesight became blurry and your mind foggy. You knew you were going out soon.
Giving a silent prayer to Rayne and any other girl being alive you let yourself get pulled into the darkness. Engulfing you and embracing you in a cold but somehow comforting blanked before you stopped feeling anything.
This was it.

Oh no, you chose wrong! Go back to chapter 1 and choose again!
...
Lol, just kidding. You're not dead.
Here you go, the next update. Little later than wanted, but you'll have to bear with me.
What do you think of this chapter? The reader is getting a little nutsy, but really, who wouldn't in that damned house surrounded by killers?
Also, on another note, I get the same question over and over again. I really don't mind answering any questions regarding my story really, so don't worry about shooting me up (even though I'll reply really late), however I think this one needs to be explained:
"Does the reader ever get her period?"
The answer to that is: No. and I'll explain why:
I'm not sure if you're familiar with the whole women's cycle and everything that affects it. The period cycle shows that a woman is ready to have a child and bear it. However there are certain occasions that your body shuts off your period temporarily because the brain thinks you're not in a stable condition to have a child. These occasions are for example: mental problems. When being exposed to a heavy amount of stress your hypothalamus gets affected. In return it sends certain signals to your pituitary, which then produces less hormones that stimulate the ovaries. The menstrual cycle shuts itself off, meaning you won't get your period. Also when you're underweight to a certain degree you won't have your period etc. In the reader's condition, the first time she is exposed to a high amount of stress, causing her cycle to shut down out of self-protection. Later on it can be told that it's either the stress or her physical condition (underweight) that caused the period to hold. Hope this answers the question.
As said before I don't mind answering any questions, even though I can be late.
Also if you've ever send me a message and I didn't reply it's because I was either too busy and the message sunk down in the pile of other messages or I simply didn't see it. My apologies for that.
I hope to update a little sooner next time, but we'll see what life holds.
Have a terrific day, darlings.
