Yours ears peaked, eyes widening as you recalled what the smiley killer had said: he'll free your friends... he will free them?! Did you just hear this correctly? Was your mind playing tricks on you again or did the mighty Jeff the killer really agree to free your friends?
You had written a whole letter in your mind, begging him, seducing him and talking him into freeing your friends...
Is this the sound of sweet surrender?
Your lips parted with a gasp, eyes watering as an overflowing of emotions were storming in... But when you watched his dark face, devoid of any other emotion than rage you focused again. He said he would free your friends...
Merely so that you would obey him?
Isn't that way too easy? Isn't it way too soon and for a way too low price?
Your eyes rested on the man, looking him up and down in order to read his behavior a little more. You didn't get far, aside from the fact that he was riled up. Completely full of agitation at the daring proposal you had done.
You wondered if it would be a trap again, like the one Masky had set up. Making you believe that you had achieved the impossible... And eventually crushing the contract before your own two eyes. You wondered if by 'setting them free' Jeff meant killing them off so that no one who could light the fire was near you anymore.
You wondered if...
You took a deep sigh, preparing yourself to counter his twists in words:
"I mean free, Jeff... not dead, not disposed of..." He watched you with disgust as you continued, the corners of his bloody mouth seemed to lower even more by each word you spoke... For as far that was possible.
The sight was one so unusual.
"I want to see them walking out of here. I want them to be escorted home safely and then..." You paused trying to form the sentence as build in as possible in your head. You needed to cover every single hole in order for this to work.
Jeff grunted, clearly despising the idea... But at the same time, he was in a split because somehow you're something to him.
Somehow, he even considered this idea, all this trouble... Merely for you.
"I want them to be left alone." You glanced up at the killer, your cheek was still stinging like crazy, but the burning sensation only fueled the one inside of you even more. This was the time to try it, this was the only chance of ever getting them out.
Should this fail... Then you have no idea what you would do.

Could you live with yourself, knowing that your friends were rotting, being tortured in the exact same house while having completely given up?
You didn't know.
You hoped that this would be enough. That by saying all this, elaborating it as clear as possible, you had protected your friends so that he couldn't find any loophole in your demands. Imagine... You'd see him grinning over the bodies of your friends, telling you that he had escorted them safely but killed them afterwards.
"I said that I'd free them." He growled lowly, sucking in portions of air in between his clenched teeth.
You weren't satisfied.
Anyone... Even your past self would scream at you to take this deal. They would smack you for even daring to question Jeff now that he had agreed with you. But you were only reminded of Masky and his loose promise... How he had tricked you and sent you straight to suicide.
"I need to know for sure that you won't kill them!" Your voice cracked at merely the thought, still staring at Jeff as tears began to fill your eyes. You didn't want to let them drop, you kept them in as tight as possible.
But it was like carrying coals to Newcastle.
"What's the point in killing them now?" Jeff looked at you with disgust. His gaze cold, just as he had always been good at.
You didn't know what he meant by that, but soon swallowed any thoughts away as Jeff crouched before you. His leathery hand made its way over to your face, grabbing your chin rather roughly as he spoke:
"You'll obey me fully. You'll do anything I say without questioning." You breathlessly let him continue his demands, nodding slightly at every sentence. You had already given up your life, there was no going back anyway.
Like he had said before, Jeff was never going to leave you alone.
"You will never ever try to escape again or set out of this door without my permission." His grip on your chin tightened, surely leaving a bruise once he was done.
"If you ever disobey me... I will personally drag them back and rip them open right in front of you." You swallowed, looking at his deformed face while thinking this over one last time. There wasn't much to bargain
He had taken you a long time ago.
He had already taken your life, your happiness and your future away. There was nothing else to give him other than your defiance... Than your will to fight... The thing which had kept you sane through this whole ordeal, the only thing which reminded you of your past self and life.
Nothing more to give than your fire.

"Deal"
~~
Your head was resting against the windowsill, eyes gazing at the darkness right in front of you. This was the day that your friends would be set free. You had no idea how Jeff had managed to get it done, how he had bargained with his 'boss' to let those girls who know so much about them walking away freely.
But you didn't dare question it.
A gut feeling deep inside told you that there was something not right, that there was something Jeff was not telling you or purposely keeping from you.
You didn't know what it could be then, because somehow you also had the feeling that Jeff was sincere. He would free them the way you had asked him to... Not because you had asked him kindly or practically begged him...
No...
More because the same sentence was repeated in your brain.
'What's the point in killing them now?'
Your attention was caught by something a little too far away to see clearly. It was a group of people walking... But not just some people. You knew exactly who they were, and your heart welled up at the thought.
Jeff had promised you would see them walking out of that damned house even though you could never leave the room itself. There was no other light, only utter darkness and your own eyes who had grown accustomed to it. But you did see 4 figures walking there.
From far away you could see which one Jeff was, considering there was one with a bigger, stronger and more masculine built than any of the others. The rest were...
You couldn't see exactly because they were keeping close to each other... Not close as in keeping warm or being frightened close... But close as in two supporting one. From far away you could see small, fragile humans.
Small skeletons as white as the moon, slowly following the more masculine figure. Struggling to follow the monster before them who didn't seem to like waiting for them much.
The inaudible whispers of your mind returned, filling you with doubt. How could you be absolutely sure it were your friends? Well... Considering nearly every other 'Creepypasta' hated you to the core, you doubted anyone would play along just for Jeff.
They had wanted you dead and besides... They would never agree with this. You had no doubt about that.
Seeing them huddled together you came to the conclusion that it had to be three people, two girls supporting one in the middle. You didn't know who the one on he middle was and what was wrong with her, but you could see that she was struggling.
A feeling of warmth filled your veins as you realized... Those three were still alive.
It had to be Mandy, Farah and Rayne walking away, getting closer to their freedom with each step they took
You had seen Lola's body, being mangled and broken on the cold floor. You had seen Sandy dying before your own eyes, helping you on the right path in her last moment... You had seen Rayne alive but... Different.
But those other two... Farah and Mandy had been a mystery. Neither certainly alive or dead... Knowing nothing about what had taken place during the time they had been taken and now.
Your hand pressed tightly against the glass as you watched them struggling further, their figures slowly being integrated into the darkness ahead. You felt them walking away, you felt them saying goodbye and wondering where you would be.
Jeff would never tell.
Gazing at them longingly a single tear rolled down your cheek, seeing them getting darker and further away from you. For a single second a selfish thought filled your veins... You had wanted them to turn around, you had wanted them to run back, storm inside and take you by the hand with them.
You wondered how it would be, living again with your parents and everyone around you. Had you changed much? Would you be tormented by nightmares and visions? Would you ever be able to build up a future again?
Your heart ached with pain, feeling lonelier than you had ever felt before. You shook your head a little, reminding you that you had chosen for this path, that you had chosen their happiness above your own.
Because those are the sacrifices you make for your loved ones.
Only a mere silhouette was shown in the dark forest and as you saw that one fading too you pressed your lips tightly against the glass, in one final and desperate attempt to send them love and get noticed in return.
The silhouette was gone, completely engulfed into the shadows
You were on your own from now on.

Still think Jeff will kill your friends? Who knows?
Sadly the reader is all alone in the house now... How do you think she will manage? The only thing that kept her standing is gone now, will she keep on going or...
That's something for another chapter! We're getting closer and closer to the grand finale. What do you guys think the endings will be? Like I said I have a good ending, a bad one, a heroic one and a canon one... At this point what do you think will happen?
The upcoming chapter will once again focus more on the relationship between Jeff and the reader.
Next update will be... Meh, at one point in time.
Have a terrific day darlings.k

LIlith's Firstborn
The legend says that the Forbidden Fruit made the first two humans – Adam and Eve – intelligent, but what if it was the other way around? What if the Forbidden Fruit took most of their humility, their intelligence, their kindness, etc. away and turn them into the discriminating, angry, and hateful humans that they are? What if the only way to turn back into their former selves was to lead a good life on Earth to cleanse their souls? The legend also says that Lilith was a demoness who fled from Heaven and was granted mercy when she showed humility and proved that her soul was still worthy of saving despite all her wrongdoings. What if, after centuries of sinning, Lilith finally found her way back to kindness? What if God forgave Lilith for her crimes? What if she gave birth to a baby after she had repented? And what if that baby is the only human soul in existence that isn’t tainted by the Forbidden Fruit or her past sins? Tallitanya of Lilith inherited her mother’s immortality and grew up at a rate much slower than an average human so she had witnessed the rise and fall of empires even though she is physically and mentally 21 years old. She was born on Earth, but she moved to Heaven when she was physically 5 years old and didn’t return until she was 18 years old. She was tasked, by God himself, to guard over the Forbidden Tree which had since been replanted on an isolated island on Earth. She loves that job, and she loves that she was given direct instructions instead of having to figure out what God’s so-called ‘mysterious plans’ for her was. Centuries went by. Tallitanya is 21 years old when the Final Judgement is nigh. As an immortal who has yet to have a real affiliation with Heaven or Hell, Tallitanya has received a personal invitation from the Antichrist who wishes to recruit Tallitanya. Heaven also sends its angel – Michael – to inform Tallitanya that as a human, her soul would also be judged by God. She was ordered to leave her post as the Forbidden Tree’s guardian so that she could get to know the other humans before she makes an actual decision about who she wants to align herself with. The second she steps out of the island, it disappears. Turns out, her message from God was faked, and so was her mission. The devil had tricked her, and as the guardian of the Forbidden Tree, she must recover the tree and the island, or humanity will perish within the year.
