"Please someone bring me After Eight!" I grumbled under my breath as I curled up further into the couch. Although there's no After Eight anywhere near but I can still smell the sweet mint around me.
"I have some Bounty, Amy!" Madeleine chirped as she waved the richness in front of me.
"Madeleine go away with your Bounty or stay here and keep waving it in front of me if you want me to pounce upon you!" I yelled as I stuffed my face into pillow. This craving is getting torturous. I haven't been able to sleep properly for two nights because whenever I try to sleep Alarick's words start ringing in my ears. And this stupid craving starts whenever I am lacking sleep.
I don't know who is he or what's the connection between us. I have no idea if he is one of the billionaires, I deceived because I've never heard of the name Knight before he came into my life. And let me tell you ever since he came into my life, my life has become a living hell.
I sat up on the couch and stare at the two kids continuously giggling.
"What are you two doing huh?" I asked suspiciously.
"Um... Amy we have done our work. Can we go to Dwayne's house?" She asked giving me her puppy eyes. I eyed them suspiciously.
"And why?"
"Dwayne wants to show me the Rose garden."
"Um...its 5 o'clock."
"But it isn't dark yet." She mumbled.
Maybe I should take them but what if Alarick's there.
"Please?" They were both smiling at me. Oh God! My heart is melting.

"Okay." They both jumped and giggled.
I don't care if he's there or not. I can't hide in my nest. I have to face him. And face him bravely. I had been hiding from him for two days and this has to end.
I got up and went into my room. Changing into my ripped baggy jeans and white loose tank top, I braided my red hair into a messy braid.
"Let's go." I chirped as I grabbed my bag and opened the door. Both of them were literally marching behind me and giggling.
"Behave." I ordered as I left the building. Crossing the wide road, I reached the huge black gates. The bodyguards saw me and then their gaze averted to Dwayne behind me. Getting the signal, they opened the door.
I entered the house and my eyes literally popped out of my sockets when I looked around. The house looked even more magnificent from near. What I was seeing from my window was nothing compared to the view in front of me.
The never ending pavement was leading to big brown double doors. The lush green grounds beside the pavement were adorned with flowers of all colors. It took me forever to reach the main doors and my feet were hurting already.
Dwayne trotted towards the door and opened it.
"Come on!" He was grinning wide which caused me to chuckle.
Madeleine was right beside me as I entered the house. The interior was even beautiful then the exterior. The walls were covered with rich maroon paint and many expensive paintings were hanging on the with all their glory. Luxurious chandelier was hanging in the middle just above the living room containing black leather couches and a round glass coffee table in the middle. The sensitive wooden floors under my feet looked like they would break if I take one more step. The wide staircase covered in red carpet behind the living room was leading into another world of fantasy.

"Let's go!" Dwayne squealed grabbing my and Madeleine hand.
He led us to I think a back door and opened it revealing the most beautiful scene I've ever seen. Roses of every color were around me. There were separate compartments for every color and what caught my eye was the compartment of black roses. I have always heard about their beauty but never saw them.
Without knowing, I reached them and kneeled down to smell the intoxicating smell of the stunning roses. The compartment of red roses was just beside them and they were making a beautiful contrast. Their beautiful and amazing smell was lingering my nose. I always had a thing for roses. And now when they are in front of me in such an uncountable amount, I am more than freaked out.
I was lost in the beauty of roses in front of me when I heard the voice I was dreading to hear the most. I closed my eyes and cursed under my breath as I stood up and looked around to see that Dwayne and Madeleine were no more in sight.
I turned around and stuck my gaze at the only person who's hiding everything inside him. A person full of secrets. It is said that you can find all the secrets of a person through their eyes but whenever I see through his emotionless eyes I find nothing while here I am. An open book.
He was looking straight into my eyes as if extracting everything I was hiding and I was doing the same. But the only difference was that he was succeeding and I was failing.
His stern and curt voice brought me out of my thoughts,
"What are you doing here?"
