I let out a sleepy hum, the feeling of someone caressing my hair waking me up. I didn't even have to open my eyes to know it was Tyrone.
The familiar scent of his masculine perfume wafting in my senses. I opened my eyes, my hazel ones clashing into his brown ones.
"Hi." Tyrone murmured, not once stopping the movement of his hand.
I looked away, settling my gaze unto his exposed collarbone instead."Hello." I answered softly.
"I'm sorry about what I said earlier." He started, his lips pulling down in a frown.
Shaking my head gently, I placed a hand on his rough cheek."No, I should be the one apologizing Ty. I'm sorry for not telling you the truth."
Deep down, I wasn't mad. I totally understand his reaction, Tyrone's been through a lot and I know it isn't easy seeing Aron.
He leaned into my touch, his eyes closing briefly."I understand radish. Aron told me everything, I-I forgave him." A small smile settling on his lips.
A flash of relief coursed through me, I was glad that they put aside their anger and actually talk it out.
I couldn't help but lean forward, pressing our lips together."I'm glad carrot. I'm so proud of you," I stated, staring into his orbs with a smile.
There are times that the only one that could truly help us heal from the pain are the actual people that hurt us. It is life's way of reminding us that being the bigger person helps lessen the burden we carry in our hearts.
"Why are you here though? How did you know where to find him?" I asked, my brows knitted.
"I was suspicious of his father, call it a gut feeling but I felt like he was hiding something so I used some of my connections to do my own investigation on Aron's whereabouts." He answered, his fingers gently massaging my scalp.
I nodded, letting out a small sigh."Is that why you went home earlier?" Pulling my hand away and played with the blankets.
"Yes, I was worried that he might move into another hiding place. That and I miss you." He pressed a soft kiss on my forehead.
"I miss you carrot." I smiled."I'd figured you'd call the police on him though, make them catch him on the spot." I though out loud.
Tyrone bit his lip, shaking his head gently."Deep down, I knew I had to talk to him first. I had to know his reasons. Aron isn't the type to resort to violence. He's all bark but no bite." He snorted, making me giggle.
"I could tell from the way his goons were the one doing all the beating up." I mused out."Have you met Casper?"
Tyrone nodded."Yeah, I did. He's a sweetheart."
I bit my lip."He is and I couldn't help but worry what would happen to him when both of his only family would be put into jail."
It's been running on my mind since I met him, He loves his older brother and I knew it'll break his heart when they're forced to be apart.

"I've been thinking about it too. I didn't know their mother died and we weren't friends when Casper was born so I didn't know about him." Tyrone replied, earning a nod of understanding from me.
"I-I don't want him to go into the system." I frowned, my thumb rubbing gently on his cheek.
"Don't worry radish. I'm already working on it," He smiled before pulling away and stood up from the bed.
I gasped, pushing myself upwards."The Pizza and my churros! Don't tell me you let Aron ate it." Turning to him, my gaze narrowed.
One thing that I noticed while hanging out with Aron these past few days is his love for sweets. He literally has a secret cabinet where he hides different chocolates.
Tyrone chuckled, before letting out a small wince."It's safe radish. Come on, they're all in the living room."
I let out a yawn and moved out of the bed, doing a small stretch. I made sure to fix the bed before walking out with Tyrone.
"Does your bruises hurt?"
Tyrone glanced at me, rubbing the back of his head. A bruise was starting to form on the parts where Aron actually hit him, I knew for sure that they had a small cut on their lips.
"It doesn't radish, I'm used to this." He said, the sound of the soft chatter going louder.
"I huffed, ran a hand through my slightly disheveled hair."That statement makes me sad." I grumbled.
Tyrone rolled his eyes, took my hand and pressed a kiss on it."You want me to tickle you to make you laugh?"
Automatically, I took a step back."Do it and I'll annoy so bad that you're gonna wonder why you messed with me." I threatened, placing a hand on my hip.
Tyrone didn't waver and chuckled, pulling me to move forward."Scary radish." He teased.
I couldn't help but grow surprised at how cleaned the living room and kitchen were. Although it was now bare from the furniture, it seems like it didn't bother them.
Casper and Aron were leaning against the wall, sitting on the floor as they ate their pizzas. Grumpy was cuddled on Aron's leg.
I couldn't help but grow amused, they were watching cartoons on his phone. Looks like the asshole had to improvise.
"What are you watching?" I asked, walking to Casper's side with Tyrone following in.
At the sight of me, Casper beamed and stood up. I let out a small 'oof' when he hugged me, his head resting on stomach.
"T-Thank you f-for the p-pizza! and you w-were right, t-they w-were just practicing w-wrestling!" Casper happily said, staring up to me with his doe eyes.
I smiled, my hand caressing his curly hair."Your welcome Casp. Yeah, I told you it's common for friends to fight like that." I let him pull me towards where he sat.
"Casper, how dare you! You didn't even say thank you to me and I was the one who paid for the pizza." Aron grumbled, throwing me a slight glare.
I let out a small laugh, taking a seat next to Casper and Tyrone following suit. Grumpy woke up to our voices and now walked his way towards Tyrone, jumping in his lap and went back to sleep.

"Aron, it was me who paid. You were the one who handed money to the delivery guy." Tyrone corrected, leaning in and took a slice of pizza.
Aron crossed his arms."That's the very reason why it was me who paid." Tyrone rolling his eyes.
"T-Thank you A-bear! T-Thank you T-Tyrone!" Casper both beamed at them, a smile drawling on both their lips.
Looks like I'm not the only one who's wrapped around on Casper's thumb.
"D-Do you really have to go?" Casper said, standing by the door.
I was kneeling in front of him, smiling softly."I have to go home Casp but don't worry, I'll be back tomorrow."
We were both waiting for Tyrone and Aron to finish talking in his room. Apparently Aron had gathered the evidences already and was now deciding on what course of action they would be taking.
I hope Tyrone does the right thing.
"Don't worry Casp, she'll be back tomorrow." Aron assured, walking up behind him.
Tyrone handed me my bag and grumpy's leash. I stood up, ruffling Casper's curly hair."See? We'll hang out tomorrow." I assured, glancing at Tyrone who had Grumpy in his arms.
Casper pouted before nodding. He walked up to Tyrone and gently petted grumpy."I-I'll see you tomorrow grumps. S-stay safe." He said, making grumpy lick his hand.
"Double check the locks Aron." Tyrone said, making him roll his eyes and nod.
We walked out of the house, the front door closed gently on us, hearing the sound of their locks reassuring me that they're safe.
Tyrone and I quickly walked up to his car, as usual opening the car door for me before going to his side.
I strapped my seatbelt on before fixing Grumpy who now was trying to get in a comfortable position to sleep.
He nestled his head into the crook of my arm before he stopped moving. I let out an amused smile, glancing at Tyrone who started the ignition.
"What's the plan tomorrow?" I asked, the road was dark and it was a thirty minute drive back to my house.
Tyrone glanced at me briefly."I wouldn't push the case against Aron. I'll tell my dad to withdraw it, in exchange for Aron evidences against his dad." He answered, his fingers tapping on the wheel.
"So, you're both gonna see your dad tomorrow?" I ran my hand softly through Grumpy's fur and rolls.
He nodded."Yeah, I'll talk to him about tonight. If this case gets solved, it'll be enough for him to forgive Aron." Tyrone said, his brown orbs looking black in the dim light.
"So the chances are high that they'll issue a warrant immediately?" I asked, my eyes staring at his handsome side features.
"Yeah, they will. This case has been going on since last year and its causing tension in the station." He replies, stopping at a red light.
I nodded, biting my lip."Can you place Aron and his brother under some protection? I'm sure his dad's underground friends wouldn't be pleased with him once they find out."
There's a possibility that they'd get back to him. I mean, its not everyday that a well known businessman gets caught in his illegal businesses.
"I'm already on to that, dad would probably vouch him for witness protection. Putting his dad on prison would surely piss his connections off." He agrees, running a hand through his hair.
"Yeah. The other day, he almost got stab because one of his dad's goon recognized him." I told him, earning a look from him.
"Really? He didn't tell me that." Tyrone said, earning an eye roll from me.
"And what? Try to find the guy and stab him back?" I joked, remembering the time where he found a loophole in our promise.
"Jett tried to fucking harass you." He grumbled, seeming to caught on what I meant.
"And I forgave him for that besides, you know I hate holding grudges. It doesn't settle well with me." I replied, making him snort.
"I don't like you being friends with him." He stated, annoyance lacing in his tone.
"You can't tell me who I can or cannot be friends with carrot." I retorted, earning a groan from him.
"And I'm not beautiful," He answered."I'm simply stating my dislike towards your newfound friendship." Tyrone explained, making me giggle.
Jett and I didn't start in a good note but he's someone I consider a friend and besides, he's a good guy despite his cockiness sometimes.
"So, can we all eat out after you go back from the station? Casper mentioned earlier how he misses eating in restaurants." I told him, changing the topic.
From what Aron told me, Casper has been hiding for two months now. Their nanny had been the one taking caring of him while Aron was in his father's custody.
I couldn't help but grow worried for tomorrow and at the same time excited. If their dad finally gets into custody then both of them could go back their house and stay there but I'm worried about the aftermath.
Casper doesn't even have to tell me to see that he misses his room, his old house. He did told me that he misses his dad but he understands that he won't see him anytime soon because of the bad things he's been doing.
My heart clenched painfully at what's he's been going threw. Casper's still young but he's been through so much and yet he remains so precious and kind.
"What are you thinking radish?" Tyrone ask, noticing my sudden silence.
"Nothing, I hope everything goes well tomorrow." I mumbled, leaning my head back against the seat comfortably.
Tyrone quickly took a hold of my hand, lacing our fingers together."Don't worry radish, everything will be fine." He assured, pressing a soft kiss on my hand.
