《The Boy Who Protected The One He Loves》3

The next morning we didn't bother to eat breakfast. I just needed to get Hermione out of there as soon as I could.
I grab my wand while she plays with her new engagement ring.
"Don't you need to take anything with you," I ask her softly.
"Everything I had was at Hogwarts. Maybe Harry and Ron have taken that with them.. and otherwise Ginny will probably have something I could borrow."
It made me feel miserable to see Hermione like this, to know she would leave without me. The colour of Hermione's ring changed.
"Cobalt blue... that means miserable or extremely sad," Hermione whispers the text from the code sheet I gave her and she looks up in my eyes.
"Yes.. I feel miserable that you are so sad and because I know we won't see each other for a while," I reply
She stands up and hugs me tightly. I will miss her hugs. I will miss everything about her. Even the small twinkle in her eyes when she tried to hide the fact she laughs about my jokes I will never be able to forget.
"Shall we go," I ask with a rather high voice full with emotions. She nods and looks at her feet.
We Apparate and standbetween the trees on the eastside of the Burrow.
"I love you Hermione," I whisper to her. The ring turns pink. "Pink.. means lust, love and desire," Hermione whispers.
"Have you trained that one," I ask her with a cheeky smile. "Yes.. in the hope it would always be that colour when you see me." I grab her waist with both my hands and pull her close to me.
"You won't need that ring to know I love you with all my heart. You know, if I didn't I don't believe our little Malfoy baby would be inside your belly right now." "I guess you're right," she replies in a whisper and we kiss.

Kiss like there was no tomorrow, which was exactly our case at the moment.
"I shall.. go to the Burrow then," Hermione whispers sadly as we break apart. Her tone made me feel miserable. Her ring turns cobalt blue again as she walks off.
I try to forget that awfully sad face of Hermione, but when you have seen that once you could never forget. I wipe a tear away when she walks off to the Burrow.
When she knocks on the door I decide to leave, so I Apparate back to my home again.
I knock on the door of the Burrow. I miss Draco already. Why did we have to end like this? Absently I rub my belly under my blue-greyish sweater. This little baby will be my reminder of everything we had and still have. It won't end like this, it simply couldn't!
The door opens and Fleur Delacour stands there in a plain, light blue dress and a white apron, her beautiful blonde hair in a messy ponytail.
"Her.. Hermione?"
My hand slides to my side and I stare in her bright blue eyes. "Ye.. yes?" "Oh dear, come in quickly! WEASLEYS, HERMIONE IS HERE!" We hear some quick footsteps and the whole Weasley family, and Harry of course, come down and sit in the small living room.
Mrs Weasley hugs me tight and I was afraid she could feel my slightly swollen belly against her body. "Honey, what happened? I was so worried! Where were you?" She pushes me down on the soft, brown chair.
"Guys, one question at the time. Hermione, can you tell us where you were, did Death Eaters catch you?" Well, they kinda did, didn't they? But I won't betray Draco.. never.
Without me noticing my hand goes to my belly again. Bill walks up to me and grabs my sweater. I try to slap his hands away, but he lifts my sweater and my small baby belly is revealed for everyone to watch.

"Hermione... you're.. you.. are.. pregnant," Ron stutters in a high voice. "Who's the father," Mr Weasley asks.
"I know who he is.. but I won't tell you. You all won't accept." "Tell us who it is Hermione, we won't judge." I snort. "You obviously would! Nope, I don't betray him." "It isn't really betraying someone if you tell the name of your child's father, is it," Harry asks kindly.
"YES IT IS, POTTER," I scream at him. "Potter? What is wrong with you! You are pregnant out of nowhere, you call me Potter and everything!"
I quickly stand up and leave the living room for the kitchen. I grab the sink and splash water in my face.
"Damn you Malfoy," I whisper softly for myself. Luckily nobody heard it. My ring turns a bright red shade. Red means anger. Why was Draco angry?
I feel nauseous. I grab the sink tighter so my knuckles turn white. Just as white as my face.
"Are you okay Hermione," a small voice behind me asks. Two hands go to my shoulders and squeeze them softly. I turn around to face the green eyes of Ginny Weasley.
"No.. I'm not. Can I talk with you alone?" She nods and grabs my hand. We walk outside through the door of the kitchen outside and Ginny plumps down in the grass around a big tree. I sit down right before her.
"Can you maybe tell me, as we are with the two of us, who the lucky man is?"
"Are you sure you want to hear it? You don't like him." "As long as he makes you happy, I will accept you two." I look at my ring on my hand, which lays in the grass. It was pink. Desire, lust, love. I smile widely at it.
"He makes me happy.. I love him dearly. You know, this child was an accident, but this is the best accident I ever had in my life." "I am glad he makes you happy. This year.. with Ronald and everything.. it wasn't good for anyone. Especially for Lavender."
"Haha, you thought I felt something for Ron? I never felt anything for that boy. This whole year was only one man the one for me.. my boyfriend, the father of my child and my fiancé." "JUST TELL ALREADY!" "It.. it's Draco Malfoy, Ginny."
Well, that was said.

Tales of the Legendary Scholar
They meet in the most unlikely moment and turned their life around. Freidrech newly arrived in his own nation's capital city, which is so foreign to him compared to his village's idyllic and nondiscriminatory atmosphere, after he is forced to come. Now, he is facing a royal prince and tells him to bow. This draws out one of his late father's teachings from the deepest recesses in his mind. "The blood of your great ancestors runs in your veins. Don't easily bow down to anyone, or accept suppression by any being, not even from a monarch, unless you pledge your allegiance to him. Also, giving in to oppression is directly telling the oppressor that you're easy prey and open for manipulation." He is uncertain on how to face this oppression right now. Will he bows or not? What will he do to uphold his father's words while keeping his life safe? As for the prince, Theodrech has nothing to do with Freidrech, so he wishes to let this slip, but the boy opens his mouth and proposes the most ludicrous challenge he ever heard and triggers his curiosity. "I, Freidrech Goederf Gerboud, son of the late Village Chief Louvel Gerboud of Wrilon, will challenge you, Your Highness, to a battle of riddles… If you win, I will not only bow but be your servant for the rest of my life." This amuses the prince. It is the first he met a boy of the same age who is not intimidated by the air of authority he projects. Rather, this boy challenges him. "Why are you so headstrong? In fact, bowing to me is an honor. You saw the King's noble Knights. When they saw me, they bowed," says Theodrech, testing Freidrech. "Allow me to be forward, Your Highness. For me, bowing to a monarch does not guarantee loyalty. If I were you, I rather have men who stand straight in my presence but who got my back, than bowing men who are dreaming of my death," replies Freidrech. The prince’s curiosity increases. A huge smile is seen on his face. Prince Theodrech decides to take Freidrech under his wing. Little did they know, this boy who Prince Theodrech takes in as his confidant and friend in the most ridiculous fashion is someone indispensable in his life and the one who can help him succeed the throne when he almost believes he has lost. Thus, the Tales of the Legendary Scholar begins. ------ o ------ Old Synopsis: A famous ancient adage stated, behind a successful man is a woman BUT… In these lands, the monarchs are seeking not a woman to stand behind them but the man hailed as the Legendary Scholar.
