《The Boy Who Protected The One He Loves》10

"I.. I honestly don't know Draco, but Lupin is downstairs, you could ask him," I say to Draco. Draco looks up at his family, who nod.
"We don't want this anymore Hermione. He threatened to kill us, uses our house as a base and threatened the mother of our grandson," Lucius explains calmly. "Don't you worry Lucius. But.. I may have a adress where we can hide. All of us." "Where then," Draco asks.
"I have a cousin somewhere who can help. Lily Fawn. She owns a big house with only her father, so there is certainly enough place for us. But I need the permission of Lupin." "Why his permission? What is that with him?" "He controls the hiding places in the Order of the Phoenix."
I stand up and lay Scorpius on one shoulder to let him burp. After he's done the Malfoys and I walk down.
Lupin is still there, talking about his newborn son Teddy Lupin. "Lupin, may I ask something," I ask him. He stands up and we walk to the small kitchen of Shell Cottage to talk. He stops talking and looks at us and the Malfoys. "Yes Hermione, what's wrong?"
"Can you make sure no one finds out where I and the Malfoys are?" "I surely can. Where are you going?" "I'm hiding with my family by my cousin and uncle, Lily and Henry."
"With 'my family' you mean them, I guess," Lupin asks, nodding at the Malfoys. I nod as reply. "Well, I wish you all good luck," Lupin says. He hugs me and little Scorpius tightly.
"Protect them Hermione," he whispers to me. "I will Remus," I whisper back. Then, I sigh deeply and turn around to them. 'Well, shall we go then, Malfoys,' I ask them.

Some minutes later we walk over the stone path towards a big villa. It was white with cream coloured and had a lot of trees and nature around it. It was a beautiful sight, honestly.
I look at Draco, who holds Scorpius in his arms. "Come on, I guess Lily can't wait to meet you," I say to him and I quickly walk over to the front door. Before I could knock and the Malfoys could walk over to me, the pine wooden door with glass on both sides shoves open(as it was a sliding door) and reveals a girl.
The young girl has brown leather cowboy boots, light blue denim shorts and a white/purple blocked blouse. Her blonde hair is slightly wavy and falls over her shoulders. Her glossed lips stretch into a wide smile.
"Hermione! You're here!" She hugs me tightly, suffocating me a little. "Hello Lily, where's uncle Henry?" "At the psychiatrist clinic, as usual. You know him and his workaholic ways." "I certainly know. I remember him trying to question me about my mental state on my birthday party when I turned 12." "You can't deny it was hilarious," Lily laughs.
Now she seems to finally notice the Malfoys. "Aww, is that your boyfriends family? Do they have a baby at their home, how nice," Lily exclaims, shrieking a little. "Uhmm.. technically that is my child," I laugh.
Her jaw drops on the floor and she stares with wide open eyes at me. "Your child? You have a lot to explain to us! But come further, come further!" She nearly drags me into the house with the Malfoys.
Lily takes us to the second floor. "First door is mine, second door is that of dad, third is of Hermione and that boyfriend of hers, that baby can fit there in as well, and the fourth one can be for the parents of your boyfriend, Hermione."

"They have names, Lily." "Well, I haven't heard any names so I call them however I please," Lily says and she puts her jaw forward stubbornly. "You seriously haven't changed one bit," I sigh with a smirk all over my face.
"Nope, I certainly haven't," she replies. "Well Lily, this is my fiancé Draco, those are his parents Narcissa and Lucius and this little boy here is my son Scorpius." "Nice to meet you all," Lily says, observing the family.
Downstairs sounds the door. "LILY, I'M HOME," a manly voice yells. "Oh, that is dad," Lily says and she runs down the stairs. "Who's her dad exactly," Draco asks me quietly. "My uncle, Henry Fawn. He's a wizard, very good Legilimens. He uses it for his job: psychiatrist."
"What's a psychiatrist," Lucius asks. "That is someone who talks about your mind and stuff like that and tries to help you mentally." "We have Healers for that," Lucius replies calmly.
"The Muggles have people specialised in that branch. Some people heal people phsyically, like surgeons, and some people focus on minds and the mental healing process, like psychiatrists." "That is technically a pretty good system," Narcissa says surprised. "It is, but let's meet my uncle, shall we," I ask them.
This will be nice, I'm sure. They will be completely confused and clouded by my uncle's talks. How nice to start a stay at our subdivision adress? I can tell you: not so nice.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…
