Rose's Pov;
" And then I run to you and now we are here." I finished telling grandpa about all of my life of course at first I didn't tell him about the abuse but then he got suspicious because every time mister came up I would stutter.
Grandpa had this look in his eyes that showed pure rage. I tilt my head in confusion.
"Are you mad at me grandpa?" I ask with tears in my eyes. Grandpa's face snaps toward me.
"Oh no no hun I am mad I the stupid mean man that you call mister," Grandpa says picking me up.
"Are you going to give to back to mister?" I asked with fear. Grandpa's grip on me tightens and he shakes his head from side to side.
" No little one I would never do that to you," Grandpa says with a firm voice.
"Now tell me where are this Alex and Logan? They were the ones that were supposed to watch you weren't they?" grandpa asks. I nod my head not thinking much of it.
"I don't know where they are," I say. Because I really have no idea. Grandpa grunts then while carrying me we walk through the house trying to find Alex and Logan.
Grandpa put me down while he looked in the backyard I looked in the front yard.
I gasp then run back to Grandpa.
"GRANDPA!!! GRANDPA!!!" I yell searching for him in the backyard where I was just attacked a little bit ago.
I see Grandpa quickly come back from the other side of the fence and he looks frantically for where I am. Once he sees me he quickly comes over to ma and picks me up.
"What is it Rose?" he asks looking around for danger. I take a deep breath.

"I found them, I found them!!" I say with excitement. Grandpa seems to relax.
"Where are they, princess?" Grandpa asks. I wiggle out of his grip then once my feet hit the ground I grab grandpa's hand and drag him toward the front yard where the pool is.
Once we reach the pool place, point toward Alex and Logan who are sleeping on the lounge chairs. I look up at Grandpa and smile.
"See Grandpa they were just sleeping, "I say giggling. Grandpa hums then walks over toward the boys.
"I don't think they were just sleeping little one," Grandpa says quietly well looking at them. I tilt my head in confusion.
"But they look like they are sleeping," I say confused. Grandpa looks at me with a soft smile.
"If they were sleeping hun they would have heard you scream." grandpa says with sadness.
"Then..... what are they doing?" I ask. My eyes widen. "Are they dead?" I ask with tears.
Grandpa quickly walks over to me and picks me up no hun they just got knocked out." Grandpa says trying to calm me down. I look at Grandpa.
"Then how do you get them to be normal again?" I ask with tears still in my eyes.
"I will call the doctor then we will get them back to normal, I will also call your father he needs to know about what happened," Grandpa says putting me down. I walk back to my room I open my door and see that my broken chairs aren't there. Oh, Alex and Logan must have got rid of them they said they would. I walk over to my chair and sit down.
Right when I was just about to start playing tea, I saw a small little note on my tea plate.

I looked at it in confusion, I don't remember putting this there.
Right, when I was just about to pick it up I stopped.
Eeewwwww what is that smell????!!
I cover my nose and stand up and run out the door.
I was just about to go down the steps when I remembered the note!!
I ran back into my room and go to pick up the note and just as my fingers touch the note I feel my fingers burn!!!!!!
I scream really loud!!!! Giant sobs start coming out of me.
IT BURNS!!!!!!!!!
The Grandpa's POV; (Before the note)
"Ok yes thank you, yes please get here as soon as possible. thanks. " I hang up on the family doctor. I then dial my son's number.
I hang up sighing running my hand down my face. I already love my Granddaughter so much and I just want the world for her. I turn around and head toward the stairs.
Right as I was just about to reach the first step I heard Rose scream. OH NO!!! I ran up the stairs with all my might.
Please be ok.

Late Night at Lund's
Book 1 - Late Night at Lund's is available for sale on Amazon. Book 2: The Lockwood Quest continues the story! A dental hygienist walks into a bar..... Dental hygienist Isa Chamberlin thought the biggest challenge in her life was getting over a messy breakup, but when she pops into a new neighborhood bar, she finds herself in a different world, one filled with wizards, spells, and monsters. Join Isa as she explores unfamiliar surroundings, uncovers new skills, and learns to level. Magic and monsters, allies and enemies, romance and danger, all of it just on the other side of a simple door. "Wear these bracers with pride.” the half-orc slid first one bracer and then the other over Isa’s forearms. “Fight with your heart,” he said as he pulled the laces tight. “And come back with a story to tell. That is what an adventurer does.” ....... **** Thank you for reading, and if you like the story, please rate and review. Isa and I would both like to level up! This story uses the 5th Edition Open Gaming License for game mechanics. I roll dice for combat outcomes and all skill checks.... which is sometimes surprising! One side note - I don't have a "sexual content" tag on - this is more romance than romp. But that might change!

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!

Understanding a cultivation world
A modern man armed with having read a few novels about cultivation is suddenly transmigrated to a cultivation world. He fights to both survive and thrive in this new archaic world full of arrogant young masters, demonic sects, and incredibly hostile wildlife. Note: In this story, I wanted to focus a lot more on what most novels skim past in regards to cultivation, namely the whole, spiritual growth aspect that seems to be entirely absent from the prosses of obtaining enlightenment the majority of the time, but the method of gaining cultivation. how it works, and what kind of world would develop around it are all things I wish to explore in this novel.

Liana in between Worlds
17 year old Liana is not as surprised as most people would be when she meets Inaya, coming from another world searching for a mysterious danger that could be disastrous for both worlds. She's always seen things others could not see, and she often finds it easier to befriend strange creatures from dreamworlds than her classmates. But now she's involved in a possible plot to eradicate our whole species, which makes her travel through a dead alien city and the oak wood of the Nummerfa who believe that our species are dangerous demons from hell, and other places in several different worlds. All she actually wanted was read her Tolkien book, or sit and watch the stars without being bothered by the existential problems of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. And how is she going to even explain her absence at school? 'Liana in Between Words' is a weird genre-defying mix of portal fantasy and scifi in a tale of friendship, loneliness, and the role of humans in the multiverse. This one contains absolutely no romance and no serious trigger warnings for sex, excessive violence, bad words or heavily traumatising content if you can handle the idea that there are people somewhere who think -maybe not completely without reason- that our species are destructive demons that should be eradicated.
