"Please hurry up and decide on a show already!" Sophia whines.
"You say no to everything I suggest," Marco responds.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance at Sophia and Marco's bickering.
They've been at it like this for the past 20 minutes as if they are the only ones who wanted to watch something.
"Sophia you literally have your own place, go there!" Marco says.
I chuckle at his remark.
Despite it being true, we spent quite some time at the family house still.
Sometimes it was the feeling of having my brothers around that made me feel better.
Sometimes.
"Jesus Marco, you're so childish," Sophia complains.
That leads to Marco saying something back that Sophia Alice didn't like and they began arguing.
I honestly didn't have time for their bickering.
I got up from the couch and began climbing the stairs to my room and immediately threw myself on the bed.
Graduation was coming up in exactly a month and I have yet to find a graduation dress.
I sighed in annoyance knowing that I had no plans for today, I had no excuse to not go looking for a dress today.
With reluctance, I made my way to the closet and grabbed my coat and slipped it on.
To anyone who lives outside of California, it was hot, but for us, it was cold.
I left my room and went downstairs to find Sophia and Marco still bickering.
"I'm going to look for a graduation dress," I say out loud.
"Take Leo with you," Felix calls from somewhere nearby.
I stop in my tracks.
I purposely avoided going out for the past 2 days in order to avoid being alone with Leo.
I was surprised that he came to work the next day.
I was afraid Dylan may have told somebody, but evidently he kept what he saw to himself.
I stood there awkwardly as Leo entered the living room from wherever he was.
I didn't wait for him to reach me before I grabbed the keys and opened the front door.
I unlock the door to my car before he got there and quickly get into the drivers seat and wait for Leo to get in the passengers seat.
"You know I could have driven?" He says softly.
I nod my head.
"It's fine, I just wanted to drive," I tell him.
He nods his head in agreement and I put the key into the ignition and back out of the driveway.
From the very start of the ride, the tension is awkward to say the least.
I turn on the radio in an attempt to lower the tension and it works for the most part.
I was more than glad when we finally arrived at David's bridal and we could finally get out of the car.
"Graduations right around the corner huh?" Leo attempts to make conversation.
I nod my head and give him an honest smile.
The idea of graduation did genuinely make me happy.
I was content to finally be done with school and start my career.
That and the fact that I could have a graduation party.
"You've probably heard this a bunch of times before but what are you going to do afterwards?" He asks.

"Event planning," I smile brightly.
I hear him scoff.
"That's such a Karen choice of occupation," he says going through some of the dresses himself.
I gasp.
"What? Event planning is so much fun," I try to convince him.
He holds up a dress for me and I shake my head no.
"So I see that in addition to being a future Karen, you also have no taste," he states.
I hold up a dress and he gives me the most disgusted facial expression.
"You talk about my lack of taste," I comment.
"Please that dress was giving hideous Frankie. You're graduating from college. Not the eighth grade," he remarks.
I chuckle at his remark.
"I feel like everything I end up showing you, you'll say no to," I say.
He shrugs his shoulders.
"Possibly. Just make better selections," he suggests.
I go through a few more of the dresses and to my surprise, he actually says he likes some of the choices I selected.
He also had a few good selections from his choices.
Which led to my current situation now.
Me, in a changing room struggling to get out of a tight dress. Leo's choice of course.
The dress was gorgeous, but I simply didn't like the way it looked on me.
When I finally got the dress off, I let out a breath of satisfaction.
Thank god that was over.
I put the dress back on the hanger and then put it with the rest of the dresses that I didn't like.
That only left two dresses in the section that I did like.
When I finished putting my clothes back on I opened the curtain and held out the two dresses in front of my face for Leo to see.
After he didn't respond, I move the dresses to see that he's sleeping.
"Get up moron!" I tease.
He sits up straight.
"Oh I'm sorry, I just got insanely bored of you taking 4 hours to try on what, 5 dresses? He asks.
I hold up the two final dresses.
He briefly scans them over before looking back to me.
"I can't believe this is even a question. The left," he says simply.
I smile in satisfaction as I was hoping he would pick that one.
"So it's settled. Left dress for the win," I smile as I return the other options to the rack.
"Here let me hold it while you return the other ones," Leo offers.
"Thanks," I say as I walk to the aisles where I picked up the dresses.
I glanced over the dresses one last time.
I hated being so indecisive.
I sighed and brought myself back to reality.
There was a reason that I picked that dress.
It was simply the better option.
Walked to the front of the cashier to see Leo standing at the cashier.
"Ready to go?" He asks.
"Yeah one second let me pay," I say reaching into my purse.
I hear him chuckle.
"No need. Consider it your graduation gift," he says holding out his hand.
I noticed that he was holding a shopping back.
I could help the look of surprise that I had on my face.

"Leo you didn't have to," I gush.
He smiles curtly.
"I wanted to," he answers.
I couldn't help the feeling that I felt at that moment. He truly didn't have to but he still did.
I embraced him and I feel him embrace me back.
"Do you want to go get slushees ?" I ask.
I feel his chest vibrating in laughter.
"Of course I do," he says in a duh tone.
_________
"Okay but listen. You would much rather want to lose your sense of hearing than your sense of taste," I debate.
Leo looks at me as if I grew two heads.
"Frankie are you okay?" He asks genuinely, which made me crack up.
"Imagine not being able to taste all the good foods this world has to offer," I say.
"Imagine hearing literally nothing for the rest of your life," he says waiting for my answer.
After a moment of silence I smack my lips.
"Not being able to eat is worse," I say.
He laughs out loud at my response and shakes his head.
We were currently sat in a parked car debating what we'd rather loose.
"It's okay to be wrong Frankie. Some people, like you, are just never right and some people, like me, are always right," he says.
"Please shut up," I playfully roll my eyes.
The conversation dies down and we sit in silence eating our slushees.
Slushees when it's cold is weird, I know, but I was craving them.
I hear Leo clear his throat.
"So, err, about the other night," he begins.
My heart starts to race a bit.
"Did Dylan say anything to you?" I interrupt him.
He shakes his head in a no motion.
"None of them have said anything to me. I'm guessing Dylan didn't say anything to Xander or Tomas," he says.
That was weird. I expected all of my brothers to know by now.
"Do you regret it?" He asks looking at me.
I play with my slushee a bit.
"No," I answer honestly.
"Oh." He says lowly.
"Do you?" I ask nervously.
"I don't. At all," he says.
My breath hitches in my throat.
Once again, I play with my slushee.
It wasn't the conversation that made nervous, it was the fact that he didn't regret it.
Truth is, he made me really nervous and I didn't expect this kind of relationship between us.
"Would you do it again?" I ask lowly putting my cup in the cup holder.
Although I didn't expect this between us, I liked it. I liked the way he made me feel.
I wanted to make sure he felt the same way about me.
I lean closer to him with my hands placed in the middle console.
He mimicked my actions and places his slushee in the cup holder.
"I would," he starts.
I don't know what came over me in that moment, but I got the confirmation I needed.
I cross over the middle console and place my legs on either side of him so I'm positioned on his lap.
"But what about about your brothers?" He asks.
"They don't matter," I cut him off by kissing him.
I grow worried that he's not into it cause for a moment he doesn't kiss me back.
I feel like pulling away until he actually kisses me back and his hands go to my waist.
I smile and when he pulls away I see his smile as well.
He starts placing kisses on my neck and I immediately melt.
I tangle my hands in his hair as he continues placing kisses on my neck.
He returns to kissing me on the lips and I quickly kiss him back as in the moment, he was all that so wanted.
___________
"Thanks for coming with me today. I really appreciate it," I say as I walk Leo to his car as it was now dark out.
It was Saturday meaning that I was going to be staying at Xander's until Monday which meant that Leo had the day off.
"It's not like I had a choice," he jokes.
"Right I forgot you kinda get paid to do this," I smile.
"Yep, exactly," he says when we reach his car.
"Enjoy your day off tomorrow though," I comment as he gets into the car.
"Thank you. Goodnight Frankie," he says.
"Goodnight," I say.
With that, he drives off and I walk to the front door.
"I'm back!" I call as I enter the house.
Sophia Alice is the first person I see when I reach the kitchen.
"You were gone forever. You better have found a dress," she comments.
"I did!" I smile.
"Ooh let me see!" She squeals.
I shake my head.
"Wait til graduation day," I say.
"Are you really going to make us wait that long?" Felix asks.
"Yep," I say cheerfully skipping up the stairs.
When I reach my room, I take the bag and shove it deep in my closet.
I won't need it for another 3-4 weeks anyway.
While doing so, I caught I glimpse of something that made me stop in my tracks.
With shaking hands, I picked it up.
The faux lilac flower from the original bunch Ben got me when we were 17.
At the time, I didn't understand why he would give me a bouquet of flowers with the note "I'll stop loving you when the last one dies."
When I realized the last one was a faux flower, I understood.
I sighed as I continued to stare at the flower.
I wonder how relevant that statement was today.
BEN
I sat silently at my desk, filling out paperwork until my phone rang.
"Yes Drake," I answer.
"I've got photos from 4 in the afternoon until 8 in the evening. Do you want them?" He asks.
I think for a moment.
"Sure send them," I decide.
After numerous notifications, I check my phone.
The first couple of images are of Frankie and her bodyguard Leo out at a store together.
The next images make my blood boil.
The image of them kissing.
After a moment of silence Drake speaks up.
"I've got eyes on him right now boss. Your call," he says.
I debate with myself internally for a bit.
"Get rid of him," I finally say.

The Trials of Bethany
Bethany, is a young girl who didn't expect anything more from her life than to spend her time churning butter and trying to ignore the abuse of her fellow village members. Because her world was about to get a whole lot bigger, and a whole lot scarier. The Trials of Bethany, is a Gamelit story of a system arriving on earth in the middle ages with the characters being teleported away regularly to face trials to earn their skill levels. As such there won't be a flood of skills however there will be constant progression and other hidden treats. The story will be evolving as it's written and as always aspects of the story/world are prone to change. This is my first serious attempt at writing and my first time publishing anywhere so all constructive criticism is welcome. Currently uploading Tuesday & Friday with occasional bonus chapters.

The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple

Luster
Growing up with her recently deceased mother’s addiction and her own struggles with gender identity, June Fujiwara was not a nice person. Gaining powers from nearly being murdered didn’t change that, and neither did becoming a mercenary to fund her transition. It took horrific manipulation, the resulting trauma, and the family that helped her through it all. Luster is a derivative work based on Worm by Wildbow (John C. McCrae) that begins prior to Worm and although it doesn't show straight away, the story is very AU.
