You finished chewing and swallowed hard, taking sips of the cup of water in front of you. All eyes were on you.
"What happened that night your father was taken?"
It took you some time before really collecting your thoughts but the boys waited patiently.
You exhaled a shaky breath before starting, "It was like any other day. I picked up food for my father and met him at his clinic. Everything started fine but while eating, we heard his secretary scream. I saw her get shot by these group of men. My father pulled me back and we hid in his office. I-I was just in shock the whole time but my father was telling me all these instructions. Mostly that I can't tell anyone my name, I can't trust anybody but Kim Namjoon. He told me to find you in Illsun-gu and that those men had to take him."
You had started speaking faster and were already trembling. The boys started noticing you were shaking in fear and adrenaline from remembering that terrible night. Seokjin cut you off to place his hand on your shoulder.
"Slow down, it's okay." He said sweetly.
You took another deep breath before continuing, "He threw a gun into the backpack with his laptop and wads of money,"
"Oh yeah! I grabbed that backpack. It's still in my office." Yoongi stated.
You nodded, "He made me take the backpack and head straight to Illsan-gu. I didn't get to say goodbye ... He pushed me outside and the men had him. I don't even know what they did to him, I just ran. I got to Illsan-gu the next day. While there, I just happened to run into RM or Namjoon oppa I guess. Your tattoo caught my eye because my father has the same one. I followed you.

And you guys know the rest."
Somehow you had made it through all of that without crying at all; however you stuttered quite a bit.
"That's some story MiSun-ah." Hobi spoke up and the rest of the boys nodded.
"Thank you for telling us. Your father is right, you shouldn't tell anyone who you are. You also shouldn't trust anyone, but us. I don't know if I have any position to order you, but your father put you under mine, Bangtan's, protection. We will find your father. But in the meantime, we have to keep you safe. These people that took your father are ruthless. I won't let them take you too."
You felt a little better with his words. They were going to help you find your father, that's what your father wanted.
"Anyways, we should said some ground rules to make sure you're safe." Jin said happily.
"Mm" Namjoon nodded his head beforespeaking, "You can stay up here as long as you want but if the need should occur that you must go out, one of us must accompany you. It's dangerous enough having the people who took your dad looking for you, but your association with us could be a bigger target on your head. Either way, it's better this way since you'll have our protection. Also it'll be easier to watch you."
You only sighed and continued to eat your food.
"Because you have to lay low, you can't have any outside contact. No school, no friends, no relatives, no-"
"No problem." You muttered knowing you didn't really have any of those.
"Oh okay ..." Jimin said awkwardly.
The boys continued to eat when Namjoon broke the silence by asking, "How did you hack my computer when you locked yourself in my office?"

Chuckling, you didn't even look at all the bewildered faces, "I'm my father's daughter. If you knew him, you'd know how special his abilities were when it comes to those kinds of things. He taught me a lot." you forced a smile out and tried not to think too much of him right now.
"Woah wait, you know how to hack?" Taehyung asked excitedly.
"How did you expect I got all those files on Namjoon oppa? You guys did kidnap me for that remember?" You said as more of a joke.
"After all that you told us, I thought that information we found in your laptop was from your father." Yoongi pointed out and you shook your head in response. "My father taught me how to hack but I obtained that information myself."
"Jinja?! Wow! I remember that ahjussi was always good with computers." Namjoon smiled through his eyes but turned serious while saying,"Don't hack into anything while you're here though."
You made a mental note to do that later.
"You probably had no trouble with school then, huh?" Yoongi pointed out.
"Actually, I graduated almost 2 years ago. I do online University classes now."
"Yah! You're like 12!" Jungkook joked again but all the boys were intrigued by you. Jungkook was mostly just upset that he wasn't the baby anymore.
"I'm going to be 19 soon." You scoffed and muttered under your breath.
"That's amazing you're so smart, Kyoung MiSun!" Taehyung said with a full mouth of food.
"Thank you," you said shyly before returning to your food as well.
The boys tried prodding at you for the rest of breakfast but they were still strangers to you, so you were very short with them. Eventually, breakfast finished and the boys were about to head out.
"Oh, hyung?" Jimin asked and all the hyungs looked. "I think we should take MiSun out to get clothes. She doesn't have any and if she's staying here for awhile we should go shopping."
"Are you sure you just don't want an excuse to go clothes shopping, Jiminie?" Yoongi scolded.
"No, I think he has a good point!" Hoseok backed him up.
"You want new clothes too Hobi, don't lie." Yoongi scolded once again and Hoseok didn't even deny it.
"Alright, alright. Take her shopping." Namjoon said before rubbing the bridge of his nose in annoyance from his brothers. "I have a lot of work to do, have fun you guys." He, Yoongi, Seokjin, and Jungkook stepped into the elevator and headed downstairs.
"What kind of work do you guys do?" You inquired to the remaining members.
"Well, various things. Running Bangtan isn't easy. It comes with a lot of business deals, acquiring allies, entrepreneurship, and a lot of other complicated things I don't involve myself with." Taehyung ranted.
"Well what do you involve yourself with?"
Jimin answered, "Well we do different things but Namjoon hyung is our leader so he has a lot more responsibilities."
"Not to mention Namjoon is the CEO of MIK Enterprises. It's a secret front for Bangtan. That's actually the building we live in. We're on the top floor of the MIK Enterprises main chain building." Hoseok said proudly.
"Okay enough talk, let's go shopping!"
You were actually kind of excited. You were finally going to have some new underwear, which is all you really wanted.

Courier
Zoe Blanco moved to New York after fleeing the small town she grew up in and the Purity Church that controls it. The Church believes in keeping humanity pure. This means none of the NanoPCs known as Frames or any other cybernetics that most of the rest of the world uses and enjoys everyday. Upon arriving in the Big Apple, Zoe is picked up by her cousin and witnesses a courier weaving their motorcycle through traffic. Zoe envies the courier's freedom. Couriers transport data and on occasion small objects for anyone willing to pay the price. Secured delivery is guaranteed and no questions are asked. Like having a human servant in this corporate owned world, using couriers is seen as a status symbol for the wealthy and corporate elite. New York's criminal underground uses couriers for similar reasons. This gives the hundreds of couriers in NYC steady work. After weeks of not finding a job while living with her aunt and cousin, Zoe turns to her slicing skills to steal credits from the Purity Church and turns to the mob so she can get a loan to pay for the internal secure storage space a courier needs and a frame for herself. After making an unlicensed run or two, Zoe finds employment with a transport company and truly starts her life as a courier. This story is a mix of light scifi, cyberpunk, slice of life, a dash of action, and a smidge of fantasy. Slicing is what hacking is called in this story. Credits are currency in this story.
