《Protected by BTS》Chapter 15: This is bad.

The elevator only went as far as the 7th floor but you found your way around the massive building. After passing through some secluded business offices, you found the large lobby with a 7 story high ceiling roof. You looked down the balcony and could the other floors and the exit.
You made your way there, barely catching attention to yourself even though you clearly stood out from all the men and women in business attire.
Once out the door you let your board take you wherever it wanted to go. You skated through the sidewalk off the streets, not paying any mind to those you passed.
It was refreshing to be outside like this again. Despite your worrisome days, you felt calmer than usual. Your life sure has been turned upside down recently and you knew this quick ride would clear your mind and you would find some other leads to your dad. You knew you would; you had to.
A large park in the distance caught your eye. There were a couple children playing with their parents close by. You skated in that direction and found a cute bench under a tree to sit on.
Children laughing and yelling filled your ears as you watched the beautiful scenery of the sky behind them. You took note of the children and their parents and the older children with their other friends.
You frowned slightly and thought, that's something I've never had.
The children playing with their mothers reminded you of how much you don't know about your own. Father never talked about her and every time you would bring her up, he would get upset. It was something about using him for his money and leaving not too long after your first birthday. The way you looked at it, she left you guys so you didn't give her too much thought, except for times like this.

You always told yourself your father was enough. He was both your mom and dad and seeing children playing with their father only made you even more upset.
So much for the peaceful ride to clear my head.
You gazed at the dancing trees from the wind, to distract yourself once more. The leaves falling and the flowers flying about had made you involuntarily smile.
You retracted your vision to the surrounding people when you made eye contact with a man. You froze and tensed your whole body. Why was he looking at you? Was he one of the people who kidnapped your father? Were these the people the boys wanted you about?
He seemingly looked past you, as if looking for someone but you weren't convinced. Could this be paranoia? It had been about an hour since you left, so maybe it would been a good time to head back. You briskyly walked out of the park and threw your skateboard on the floor to start riding.
You skated back the way you came and stopped when you were at an intersection. Curioisty had gotten the best of you as you decided to turn around and see if anyone had been following you. Coincidentally enough, the man that was watching you earlier was roughly 20 feet behind you, and jogging with another man at his side.
Definitely not paranoia.
The crosswalk for pedestrians turned green and you skated even faster. You took a peek behind you again as you were at top speed after a few pushes off of the ground. The two men were basically sprinting to catch up to you.
This is bad.
You pushed even harder against the ground for force and accelerated the board forward. You had managed to gain some distance from them as you looked at their distantly fatigued faces.

Proudly, you had outran them -- or so you thought.
You made hard contact with a tall man in a slick black business suit. You slipped off your board and groaned at the impact of the floor hitting your body.
The streets where you currently were at wasn't as busy. No one seemed to be suspicious of the black SUV that had pulled up by your side. Tall men in all black suits had poured out of the car. You knew you were defeated.
"Ma'am, you have been requested to be seen by our boss. Would you please enter the vehicle? The one you ran into spoke lowly and deeply.
"Is there a chance I could say 'no' and pass?"
They were not amused and hadn't even moved a muscle. Other people passing by the street still hadn't paid much attention to this scary scene and now was the time you hated when people minded their own business.
You thought you could run since it was a public place, but they were definitely prepared for that. They saw your hesitation and the one who had spoken to you had lifted his jacket slightly, but just enough for you to see the black object adjusted to his belt. A gun.
Just looking at the gun made your body go cold and obedient. You saw the smirk on his face as he had motioned for you to get into the car once again. "Fine." You huffed and got in. You were smothered between two large men in the back seat. The severely tinted windows made you feel even more uneasy about the situation.

Jungkook and Namjoon were the first of the boys to arrive home. As they both stepped off the elevator, they parted ways. Jungkook had gone off to the game room and Namjoon had wanted to say 'hello' to you before going into his office to do some more paperwork.
Namjoon checked the living room and Jungkook's room first and to his dismay, saw you no where in sight. He went to Jungkook to ask, "Hey, where's MiSun?"
"How should I know?"
"She's your roommate right now. Don't you know where she usually is?"
"I don't know, check the roof." Jungkook replied without even looking at his hyung. Namjoon made his way into the roof and had become even more worried. Sure the penthouse was big, but he should have seen you by now.
"MiSun-ah! MiSun-ah!" He called but with no answer.
Namjoon ran back to Jungkook, "Call the boys, MiSun isn't here." For some reason, Jungkook wasn't that fazed, "Aish, that girl!" He shook his head and pulled out his phone to call his hyungs.
Namjoon also took out his phone to make a call. "It's RM."
"Boss, what can we do for ya?" The man on the other line greeted formally.
"I need the boys to go out and search for someone. They're in Seoul and shouldn't be too far away from Jongno-gu. I'll send you the details soon but I need you to find her fast. I don't care what you do, just make sure you find her. She better be alive and unharmed." Namjoon growled in fuming anger.
"I understand."
He hung up the phone and started for the elevator. Jungkook quickly took notice and finished his call to Seokjin to let him know what was happening.
"C'mon Kook. We're going to go find her."

The Rowan Fox, Tail 1: The Missing Children
Deep in the Maple Woods sits a mountain of old. Humans have claimed it and today a city called Redlog covers it from peak to foot. Meet Josei, one of many medicine makers living in the city of red roofs. Hers is the start of many tales, home to a very special fox. Like foxes often do, this one finds himself plenty of trouble. (Thought I would be gone forever did you? I'm back again! This time with a book that actually has an ending. I know because I've written it. I will be editing each chapter then releasing it here as they're done, probably once or twice a week. It's a shorter tale than what I've written before but that was the goal from the start. I really need to learn how to finish a story so this was a big accomplishment for me. I'll be writing The Rowan Fox in several parts instead, short but hopefully sweet.) (This story is a combination of some of my favorite things: folktales, foxes, ancient forests, and feel good slice of life. I hope you like it!)
