《My Princess》Chapter 16: Isabella

September 6, Sunday
Today I woke up with no dream. I slept peacefully until now. I had a headache from the alcohol I drank last night. I could still remember the events though.
My core burned as I remember shoving myself into Grayson's hardness. He was gripping me hard enough to leave a bruise but I loved it. His touched sparked flames inside of me.
I remember his eyes. They were red! How was it even possible to be a dark red? His eyes were perfectly fine afterwards. I wonder if he's ok. Well obviously, he took you home and you had a small moment in his truck.
I jump out of bed and walk to my living room to make some tea. As I'm making my tea I look at my undid living room. I can't believe I haven't finished it yet. Just some things are heavy to move and I'm to tired to move them.
I sit down on the couch getting comfortable as I turn the tv on. It was a Sunday so I was gonna take my time to relax. That was until my phone started to ring.
"Hey bitch." Cara say loudly through the phone. I wince in pain at the sound so early in the morning. And by early I mean 10 o'clock.
"How are you so happy this early in the morning?" I ask taking a drink of my tea. The tv played in the back quietly.
"I wanna have a sleepover. So badly and I'm leaving soon. Like this week." Cara says with a whinny voice. I internally grown at how tired I was right now.
"I have work tomorrow. I can't just skip. And I still haven't recovered from last night." I say exhausted. I could barley keep my eyes open.

"Please. We won't stay up late and I'll make sure you will make it to work on time. I'm leaving this weekend." I could practically feel her puppy dog eyes through the phone.
"I'll come pick you up later so you have time to rest. Like at 5:00pm." Cara says pushing me. What was I supposed to say to her? I was bad at telling people no already.
"Fine." Cara begans to squeal loudly making me pull the phone away from my ear. She then hangs up without saying another word. Ok then.
My body jolts at what I just agreed to. I would be staying at Grayson's house with him there. Sleeping in his house. His home. Where he comes to everyday.
Ok I need mental help.
I take a deep breath trying to keep my heart rate down. I did want to see him again and the only way I knew how to was when Cara invited him somewhere. And Cara will be leaving soon. How am I supposed to talk to him without her there? I'm such a nervous person.
Time ticks by and it's time to get ready. I pack a small bag with sleeping clothes and clothes to wear to work tomorrow. Then my essentials for my morning process.
Trying to look cute I put on a new shirt and a pair of shorts. I lace up my converse and but a belt on to keep my pants up.
I get a text from Cara that she's here. My heart immediately starts to pound in my chest. Was he here or did he stay home?
I walk outside of my apartment to see his big truck parked where it always is. As I walk towards the truck I just immediately think to sit in the front because that's what I've been doing. As I open the door I see Grayson and all of his glory.

His hair was fluffy this time and his eyes were darker from lack of sleep I assume. He was wearing a tight black shirt and blue jeans. He looked good in anything he wore.
I jumped in like usual and put my seatbelt on.
"Hey." I say quietly to Grayson's large figure. He was just so handsome and sexy without trying.
"Good afternoon beautiful." Grayson says darkly. I bite the inside of my mouth to calm myself down. God I just saw him yesterday, why am I acting so weird.
"Izzy, meet my hubby Alex." Cara says pulling me out of my thoughts. I almost forgot she was in the car.
I look behind my seat to see the man named Alex. "Oh hi. Nice to meet you. I'm Isabella." I say holding my hand out to shake. Just as I'm about to shake his hand a low growl erupts behind me. My body jolts in shock at the sound. Alex immediately puts his hand away but smiles at me.
"Nice to meet you as well." He says with a shaky voice. I give him a small smile before turning around in my seat. Grayson's face is rock hard as his jaw is close to breaking. What was his problem?
It took some time to get to his house but Cara preoccupied the time with talking and her singing. She told me all about her and Alex. Which I swooned over because they were adorable.
Grayson stayed silent the entire time. Sometimes I would see him looking at me but look away after I looked at him.
As we pulled into a dirt driveway I became curious. They really did live fair out in the country. Trees surrounded every corner of this place. Nothing but trees.
As the house came into view I gasped. It was a ginormous cabin that was absolutely beautiful. A couple cars were parked in front of the home. Also people seemed to walk in and out of the place.
As I looked into the forest I could see other homes. Maybe 4 I could see without trying. More and more people seemed to come from the homes and large house in front of us. Who were they?
Cara and Alex where the first to jump out of the truck. I slowly took my seat belt off, still star struck with the large building.
"I have a lot of family that live here. As well as a bunch of friends that needed help. The place in front of us isn't my home, it's like a hotel. For everyone hear." Grayson says clearing all of my thoughts. It's like he read my damn mind.
"Come on." Grayson says opening his door. I quickly get out of the truck to catch up with everyone. Although Grayson's already standing by my door waiting for me. He holds his hand out for me to grab to get down.
I take it hesitantly feeling the sparks erupt once again. I stepped down and began to follow everyone.

The Girl He Used To Know - An UnderCurrent Story
Pierre Havelock is an author, atleast now he is. In truth 3 decades ago Pierre was dragged across space & time only to land on our boring old earth. So when one of his 'characters', a girl based on someone he once knew in his past life, appears before him - Pierre is less than best pleased. He is even less happy when said girl decides to make his house her new home! __Now on Royal-Road! ‘The Girl he Used To Know’ began life when I came across a rather silly prompt on a web-novel site I was using; "Theme: My 2D waifu is now my real life Valentine's!?"Well with a title like that I couldn’t help but be interested by the idea of leaving my usual writing niche and trying something a bit more novel. Tying it loosely back to my main series ‘UnderCurrent’, ‘GUK’ was born as a standalone romance novella which you are now holding, styled with Japanese tropes in mind from a more western perspective.I hope you will find this to be an interesting and fun read - Designed with the intent of being a somewhat contemplative and ‘cosy’ story - Whatever the case I thank you for picking it up and giving it a once over.- Momentie __I adapted Draft 2 to audio - I can't voice act, or edit, yet I kinda like it & find it personally the best way to enjoy the story😂 - https://youtu.be/kNWiSiZU53U
